Chapter 32: Spencer, Let’s Go Back to D City
Chapter 32: Spencer, Let’s Go Back to D City
Walking out of the office, Spencer looked at the coffee in her hand, smiling happily.
But the principal was unhappy.
As soon as she left the office, the principal glared at the door and made a dry kick toward it.
Once his muscle moved, his scald hurt worse, and he squealed. He rolled up his shirt, finding a large
scale of scald spreading oh his chest…
On the inside, he flew in fury; on the outside, to save his job, he had to show his calmness.
He just did it to hurt himself.
He was yet to know Spencer’s relation with the powerful man.
No, he had to tell his daughter to treat Spencer better.
--
Back to the classroom, Spencer gave the coffee to Annie as Annie helped her fight with Paige.
Everything went as usual except Paige’s appearance.
From time to time, some stranger showed up in her face and each would give her a gift.
Spencer put them all in her backpack and handed them back to their true owner.
After class in the evening, she got to the school gate.
Standing beside the Rolls-Royce, Harris waited gently for her as before, ready to open the door for her
and start the car after her sliding in.
Spencer looked at the man busy working in the car as the sunshine poured through the windows,
casting a glow on him. He looked perfectly dazzling and handsome.
On his knees was a laptop, on which his slant fingers dancing on the keyboard, and her heartbeat was
dancing to the rhythmed sound of his hitting keyboard.
It’s said that when a man was focusing on his work, he’d be the hottest guy in the world. Well, it’s true.
She quietly stared at him with desire.
He suddenly stopped as he saw her out of the corner of his eye, which melted his ice-cold heart.
He disgusted all the girls’ admiring stares except hers.
He closed his laptop, placing it on the foldable desk in front of him. Then he turned around to see
Spencer.
His lips quirked up and parted. “Satisfied?”
She gazed at his pale face with defined features and intense sapphire eyes, and replied in daze,
“Beautiful.”
A smile curved Lukas’ lips as it occurred to Spencer how stupid she besotted she was.
She was so into him that she didn’t find he had closed up his laptop.
Had he found her stupid staring?
She started to get embarrassed and dodge Lukas’ stare. Finally, her eyes landed on the operation
board. “I mean the design of your car. It’s beautiful.”
She tried to keep her voice calmed as usual, but her heart beat too fast to control, her face blushing
scarlet.
Lukas was amused but he didn’t point out her lie. Gazing at her, he said, “Okay.”
Her coyly rosy cheek looked radiant, rendering her earlobe bright red, making her adorably sexy.
His deep voice got her a bit relaxed. Feeling his eyes were on her, she fixed her eyes on the outside,
ignoring his gaze.
Suddenly, a masculine air overwhelmed her as she was enveloped by the similar scent.
She swiveled her head, only to find Lukas was pressing against her back. Before she could part her
lips, Lukas sealed her lips with his. Spencer widened her eyes at him.
Then his lips left hers while Spencer was still dumbfounded.
He explained, “Just so you know I’m not a gay.”
She had known she’d wronged him. Couldn’t he let it go and move on?
He had no lust for her when she was drugged and naked. How could she believe he loves women?
But now she believed he wasn’t a gay.
Because a gay couldn’t have had so many intimate contacts with her.
But she was known as a beauty in her class. How could he constrain his desire?
Spencer pouted as she got riled up.
She looked up to glare at him, only to find he was seriously staring at her but said gently, “Spencer,
Let’s go back to D City, will you?”
He wanted to marry you as soon as possible, but the wedding had to be in D City. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
Because Master was waiting to see his granddaughter.
Back to D City?
She thought they had agreed to not go back to D City too soon.
Before she could ask him, he distanced him form her and sat back on his own seat.
Then he said, “In a month.”
Spencer was frozen as she had no idea how to take back grandpa’s legacy in a month.
She really wanted to go back to D City, reuniting with her natural parents and grandpa.
But her adoptive grandpa had lived with her for more than ten years. She didn’t want to lose what he
had left for her.
In no way would she let Taylor Sharp grab the legacy away, or she’d fail her adoptive grandpa.
But one month wasn’t enough…
“Here we are. Mr. Sharp and Miss Sharp.”
Harris’ voice pulled her from her thoughts. She found the car had pulled over.
In front of Wonfo Mall rather than the villa.
She remembered his words this morning. “I’ll pick you up this evening to buy you a new cellphone.”
Wonfo Mall was a high-end shopping mall. You can find everything you want in it.
She used to go here with her grandpa when he was alive.
When she was lost in her thoughts, Lukas had got off and walked around the car to her side, gallantly
opening the door for you.
Then he pulled her out of the car before she could realize what happened. They walked hand in hand
toward the shopping mall, Harris following behind.
From the corner her eyes, Spencer quietly gauzed the man in suit and tie, as almost all the girls in the
street were looking at him. She didn’t want what had happened in her school happened here again, so
she hastily said, “Well, I know you’re busy with your stuff. I’ll do it on my own.”
But he stopped there.
Then she heard his deep and sexy voice. “I need a new phone for myself.”
And he marched into the mall.
For a split second, she was embarrassed. She thought he wanted to buy her a new phone.
He didn’t take her here for her?
Without second-thinking, she hastily caught up with Luka
In various types and brands, almost all the high-end cell phone were displayed for the customers to
choose.
Spencer stood in front of them, not knowing which to pick.
Suddenly, some assistants caught her eyes as she vaguely heard they were arguing over the
opportunity to serve for some distinguished customers.
Following their glimpses, she saw Lukas and Harris.
They were both overbearing and handsome. No wonder the assistants were arguing over them.
But she knew it was actually Lukas they wanted to serve, who obviously overshone Harris.
Stepping aside, Spencer wanted to distance herself from those two eye-catching hotties. However, they
instantly followed her. Wherever she went, they’d catch up with her.
After two minutes, Spencer couldn’t stand it anymore as she swiveled her head unhappily.
“Why are you following my steps? I thought you’d buy your new phone.”
He gazed at her, happiness dancing behind his eyes. “I trust your taste.”
She was dumbfounded before asking with surprise, “Do you want the same phone with me?”
He nodded. She smiled, blinking her pretty eyes. “I didn’t know you like pink cellphone, either.”
She was amused as she pictured that a overbearing boss like him holding a pink cellphone in his
hand…
