** Evelyn’s POV:**

Celeste said, “Ernest…

you can’t do that to her… she is an adult.”

but he will not

listen I know. I know my brother.

Mom said, “Ernest

don’t do anything to regret. She likes him, he doesn’t agreed to her proposal…

we can talk this out… and that… boy don’t seem too bad..”

Mom is making the

points… these male of my family should understand.

but what worried me

more is that Dad is silent… something is going on….

Alexis said, “He

must me trying to get close to her…. I don’t think this it’s just her crush… or

she won’t be this defending against us.”

I looked at Alexis on

this, Serene was just glaring at Alexis…

Dad asked, “Evelyn..

to out without security! are you insane!” He looks frustrated. I was in tears

looking at him, Alexis was also glaring at me angry...

Dad said,

Celeste got up and

came to me, she wiped my tears. She said to Ernest, “control… she made a

mistake but you shouldn’t scold her like this…”

I whispered,

“I… know.. I didn’t think about safety….

I knew he won’t let me get hurt…. so.. I though…”

Dad said, “Enough!

you please to keep our daughter safe but… but we won’t hurt that boy… because

your phone…”

from herself…”

Mom said to him, “I

15 minutes later,

I was sitting with

Celeste and Serene.

Celeste said, “It’s

fine…. mom said he will be fine…. and I don’t think they will go against her

words.”

I hope so.

Serene said, “Come on Evelyn, be your usual self…. don’t

worry..”

Celeste said, “Do

you have a picture of him?”

I checked my phone

and showed them the picture on the first snow. Serene and Celeste looked at the

picture as if they got surprise of the year.

looks good…”

I sigh, I wish… I
