Chapter 24 Tell on Her
Chapter 24 Tell on Her
Eva and Caleb argued all the way but did not come to any conclusion.
"Eva, hurry up." Gemma greeted Eva warmly when she saw her.
They reserved the main seat for Caleb naturally. The director was sitting on the side seat. Eva looked
at the entire table. There was only one seat next to Caleb and a children's chair was added.
"I'll sit over here." Eva casually pointed to a seat, intending to sit over here. However, William, who was
in his arms, was very uncooperative. He stretched his body to go to Caleb's side.
The man in the seat looked at Caleb's face and said to Eva calmly, "Eva, you'd better sit over there. I've
already sat down. It's so troublesome to change seats."
"Eva, come over here quickly." Mel also called out to her.
"What's wrong? Can Mr. Livingstone eat you?" Sam teased.
Everyone in the booth was looking at her. Eva's face flushed quickly, and she braced herself to sit next
to Caleb.
Sheila was sitting five people away from Caleb. Even Sam was closer to Caleb than her. When she
saw Eva come to gently sit next to Caleb, she clenched her hands under the table tightly, and a row of
fingerprints appeared on her palm.
Why could Eva sit there and attract everyone's attention? Why?
The resentment in Sheila's heart was about to explode. Her eyes were full of resentment as she stared
at Eva, as if she wanted to kill her.
Eva felt Sheila's gaze. She lifted her eyes and sneered. Then, she gracefully sat down beside Caleb.
She even deliberately put a piece of bamboo shoot on Caleb's plate. After staying in Rosenfeld Hill for
more than a week, Eva knew very well what Caleb ate and what he didn't eat.
Bamboo shoots were exactly what Caleb didn't like to eat.
Yes, she was deliberately taking revenge.
William pulled on Eva's sleeve reluctantly and asked her to serve him food.
"Liam, how about some greens?" Eva asked.
William nodded obediently.
The onlookers were so shocked that their jaws dropped in shock. They didn't believe that they weren't
in a relationship! Eva was too skilled in feeding William. Moreover, she was calling him by his
nickname! Who in the room dared to call the Livingstone's young master by his nickname?
In the car, Eva seriously asked him to keep a distance from her. However, when it came time to eat,
she forgot all about it as soon as William acted pitifully.
While everyone was lost in their own thoughts, Caleb had already thrown tender tips of bamboo shoots
away. He lifted his eyes and glanced at everyone. Everyone, including the director, was stunned. They
asked themselves in their minds, "Who am I? Where am I? What happened just now?"
"Everyone, start eating. Don't just sit there." Mel said and broke the silence.
It was too tiring to eat with the big guy, and it was also a test of their acting skills to pretend to be blind.
Gemma complained crazily in her heart. She was very distressed about her stomach, afraid that she
would have indigestion after this meal...
While everyone was chatting, Sheila directly left without saying goodbye. However, everyone was
focused on Caleb, so they did not notice her leaving first.
Sheila, who was sitting in her van, was about to explode. For so many years, she had always been the
focus of everyone's attention. Today, she was completely ignored by Caleb and became an invisible
person.
"Miss, where are we going?" The driver asked carefully.
"Go back to the villa. I want to see my parents." Sheila ordered in a cold tone.
"Okay." The driver responded. Looking at Sheila, who was furious, behind him, he craned his neck and
drove carefully.
The gathering place was not far from Sheila's home, and they arrived in twenty minutes. When Sheila
got out of the car, Morgan Sommers and his wife, Penelope Gordon, had just finished eating and
walked around in the yard.
"Dad," Sheila called out obediently.
Morgan turned around and saw Sheila at the door. His face was instantly full of smiles, and his wrinkled
face was like a chrysanthemum.
"My baby girl is back. Come over and let daddy see if you have lost weight." Morgan waved at Sheila.
Hearing this, Sheila walked over.
When she got closer, Morgan noticed that something was wrong with her. He pretended to be angry.
"Who made you angry? Who made you unhappy? Tell Daddy!"
Penelope also said, "That's right. Darling, just tell your father. Your father will do you justice. We will not
let that person off easily."
"But..." Sheila looked hesitant, not knowing whether to say it or not. NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.
When Morgan saw her like this, his heart ached even more. He said sternly, "Tell me. I will definitely
make his life a living hell! Since he dares to bully my baby girl, he has to pay the price!"
"Exactly!"
Sheila secretly looked at Morgan and her mother, looking like a pitiful little girl who had been wronged.
She hesitated for a long time, and under the constant urging of the two people, she finally said, "It's
sister. I don't know where she found a sugar daddy but now, she is in the same crew as me. She
always picks on me. Today, that man even wanted to molest me. If Brody finds out, how am I going to
face him?"
Morgan lost his temper when he heard this. "How dare she do such a thing! She is simply crazy. Just
you wait, I will definitely help you!"
"Dad, if you do help me, sister will be even more rebellious and won't get close to you." Sheila still had
a pitiful look on her face, as if she had been terribly wronged.
Morgan snorted coldly. "I have long abandoned her! She's just a good-for-nothing. Penelope, call that
little bastard tomorrow and ask her to come home. She's getting audacious after she came back from
abroad. How dare she disrespect her parents!"
Penelope nodded.
Both of them chose to forget that when Eva came back from abroad, it was them who chased her out
and prevented her from entering the house. Now, Now, they blamed Eva for being unfilial... Their ability
to make up their own story was really strong.
Sheila smiled proudly in Morgan's arms. Eva actually wanted to fight with her. Dream on.
There was a buzzing sound.
Eva had just finished filming and was about to sit down to rest when the phone rang.
"Eva, what are you staring at? Why aren't you answering the phone?" Gemma nudged Eva, who was
staring at the phone in a daze, and reminded her.
"Oh, it's fine. It's just an insurance promotion. There's no need to pick up." After hesitating for a
moment, Eva hung up the phone.
Gemma obviously did not believe Eva's excuse. "How do you know it's an insurance salesman before
you even pick up?"
"I..." Eva was tongue-tied.
"Alright, if you don't want to pick it up, then don't. No one is forcing you." Gemma shrugged and quickly
changed the topic. "What's going on with you and Mr. Livingstone? Everyone in the crew is talking
about you today."
"There is nothing." Eva said helplessly.
