Chapter 39
I was pulling my jacket out of my backpack when I heard the first thock of the ax.
I looked over idly through the window into the backyard –
And immediately felt a little tingle between my legs.
Massimo was an asshole, yes.
He’d endangered me while claiming he was saving me, yes.
But…
He was also fucking hot.
And seeing him swing an ax like that…
God damn.
Just the utter strength on display as he swung it…
Around my grandmother’s palazzo, I was used to mafia goons with pot bellies.
And most of the guys I’d slept with were kind of slender, or they’d gone a bit too overboard in the gym and walked around like musclebound lunks.
Massimo was different.
Yeah, he was huge…
And yeah, he was muscular…
But he moved different. Like his strength came from lifting shit and swinging axes instead of pushing a metal bar above his head six times in a row.
So when he started chopping wood…
It was something I’d only seen in movies.
And it was hot.
I stood there mesmerized.
The way the muscles stood out in his forearms…
The way the cords in his neck flared…
What I would’ve given for him to take off his clothes and do it bare-chested. That would have been something to see.
And then… I halfway got my wish.
He finished splitting one of the sections of tree trunk, then took off his plaid shirt.
Underneath, his white t-shirt was so tight it looked molded to his body like a second skin.
Now I could see his biceps bulging…
His chest muscles pressing hard against the cloth.
And there was his spectacular ass filling out his jeans.
Well fuck, I’m not missing out on THIS show.
As he put the shirt down, I walked out the back door and started strolling over.
When he glanced at me, he looked annoyed – like he thought I was impatient about building a fire or something.
I wasn’t about to admit the real reason I’d come outside.
“I’ll be done in a few minutes,” he said.
“Okay,” I replied.
“There’s nothing you can do out here.”
“I can watch you.” That was kind of a cheeky little confession, but I followed it up with, “There’s not exactly a whole lot of other entertainment to be had. Don’t let me stop you, mountain man.”
He shot me a dirty look, then went back to chopping…
And I went back to admiring.
THOCK.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
His broad shoulders…
THOCK.
His gigantic arms…
CHUNK.
When he grabbed a piece of wood, his hands were just massive.
I remembered something else massive, too.
Something I’d had my hand around this morning…
I searched his jeans for what I was looking for and found it.
A long, solid outline under the denim extended part of the way down his right thigh.
Fuuuuuuuuck.
Even soft, he was bigger than any of the guys I’d ever had sex with.
I imagined what it would look like if he was chopping wood naked…
Would it dangle there? Swing back and forth?
I was starting to get really horny.
Yes, I hated the guy…
But dick is dick.
And a huge dick attached to a specimen of physical perfection… well…
There’s only so far you can push a girl before she breaks.
Throw in doing something uber-manly that I’d only seen in movies before, and I was a goner.
I could hate him again later.
For now, I preferred to watch.
He split two of the big circular logs into 16 smaller pieces, then used the hatchet to chip off lots of long, thin strands of wood.
“What’s that for?” I asked.
“Kindling,” he replied, then stacked everything onto the canvas carrier.
Then he heaved it up in the air and slung it over his shoulder like it was… well, not nothing, but not a big deal.
There must have been well over a hundred pounds of wood in that carrier, but he handled it like I would my JanSport.
He looked like a ripped Saint Nicholas with a brown beard and a package of presents over his shoulder.
I wish I could get a different kind of present tonight…
I glanced down at his crotch beneath his jeans.
A different kind of wood, you might say…
“Alright, let’s go,” he said as he carried the canvas sling on his back and the ax and hatchet in his free hand.
“Yes sir,” I said with a smirk. I followed behind him so I could watch his ass in those tight jeans. It was all I could do not to reach out and grab it.
