Chapter 814 Leticia’s Order
“Don’t worry about me,” Rose said, “As you said, I was born into a wealthy family and knew nothing of the bitterness of life. As a result, I could hardly imagine what hardship you have suffered in your life.”
Jimmy looked at Rose, who lowered her head guiltily, and a triumphant look flashed in his eyes. Rose was artless and different from Theresa, who was calculating. But the recording she handed over to Rose seemed not to make her change her mind and leave him. Instead, she forgave him when he put on a pitiful look and acted miserable before her.
Since Jimmy had agreed to apologize to Theresa and given up the idea of committing suicide, Rose cheered up.
Not long after, someone knocked on the door. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
Rose said, “Come in.”
The door was opened, and Brenda showed up. “Good morning, Ms. Nandal.”
Seeing Brenda appear, Rose was surprised. “What do you come for?”
Brenda explained, “Mrs. Calsis has been concerned about you after you left home last night and asked
me to pick you up. How is Mr. Watson’s condition now?” Speaking of this, Brenda stole a glance at
Jimmy. He was lying on the bed feebly, but his condition was not life-threatening.
Rose said, “Sorry, I can’t go with you now. I won’t be reassured until I send Jim home after he is discharged. After that, I will come to see Grandma Leticia.”
Seeing Rose insist on staying by Jimmy, Brenda persuaded, “But Mrs. Calsis has ordered me to send you home. As for Jimmy, I will find someone to take care of him. Don’t worry about him.” She said in a peremptory tone, showing that she was following Leticia’s order. It seemed that they had known about Jimmy’s suicide.
Rose thought it over and turned her head to speak to Jimmy, “Have a good rest. I will return home to deal with something.” She had stayed up all night and was exhausted now.
Jimmy said, “Rose.” He hadn’t expected the people of the Calsis family to come so soon and was worried.
Rose looked at him and said, “Don’t worry. I will come back to see you. By the way, don’t forget to keep your promise.”
Jimmy couldn’t ask Rose to stay longer, especially considering Brenda was present. So he watched her walk away helplessly.
Rose followed Brenda out of the hospital. After getting into the car, she asked Brenda, “Brenda, I remember you are not at Calsis Villa. When did you come back?” When she returned home yesterday, she heard that Brenda had been sent to Cameron’s Residence to take care of Leonard and Ben. She hadn’t expected Brenda to pick her up today.
Brenda explained, “I was at Cameron’s Residence just now. Mrs. Calsis visited Theresa’s two sons today and asked me to send you there.”
Rose said, “Well. If this is the case, I won’t object to it.” Coincidentally, she wanted to meet Theresa.
