Chapter 13
Elara
The scandal was the topic everywhere. I talked to my mother and I was glad she held nothing against me. She encouraged me to move forward from this. Khai was relentless in pursuing Connor, but the mother fucker vanished from the face of the earth. His beta was the one running his pack. However, I did feel it when he fucked someone. It was unbearable. My family was by my side the whole time.
I constantly received attacks online from my peers and the people I went to university with. Everyone looked at me with disdain except my closest friends, Solena, and Brandon.
When I walk in the hallway, they shout vulgar words at me. I badly wanted to punch them and say something, but my tongue-tied each time. Solena and Brandon would be the ones to fight on my behalf.
‘Should we get some milkshakes at Chia’s? I miss my favorite strawberry milkshakes,’ Brendon says as we leave our sociology class.
‘No,’ Solena is quick to answer. I narrow my gaze at her. She never refuses to go there.
‘Why can’t we go there? I would like a milkshake, actually,’ I say.
‘I’m banned there,’ she shrugs. I grab her shoulders.
‘Why?’
‘I hit that idiot, Parker,’ Parker was the son of the woman who ran the milkshake place.
‘Solena! Why would you do that?’
‘He deserved to be hit in the face. The idiot talked and commented shit about you,’
My face falls. It has been happening a lot this week. My friends, and brother hitting people because of me. Because of my mistake.
‘I’m sorry, guys. I know just being my friend puts you in a lot of trouble right now,’ I tell them, sitting in the hallway. I feel all energy has left me. This week has exhausted me physically and emotionally.
The story and the video clip are going viral even though my father’s team did everything to stop it from circulating. However, some people saved it on their phones and reposted it.
‘No, don’t even dare say that. You are our friend, and we will stick up for you, always,’ Brendon says. I give him a faint smile, and his chocolate-brown eyes light up. He stretches his hand towards me, and I take it. He pulls me up, but someone comes bolting towards me with lightning speed, presses my back against the wall, and cages me in their arms. Parker. He is an absolute asshole. He has a stupid grin on his face.
‘Get the fuck away from me,’ I all but growl. He flashes me a smile, and I groan in disgust. His friends surround us instantly.
‘Have you ever heard of the G-Whiz?’ he asks, his face close to me. His four friends burst out laughing.
‘It’s a sex position I’ve been dying to do … But with you. I’d eat your pussy first and- ‘ I raise my hand and slap him across the face before he can finish his sentence.
‘Ohh! Hot,’ his friends laugh.
‘The wheelbarrow would be a perfect fit for her so she doesn’t use her hands to slap you,’ George mocks, his full teeth on display in laughter.
Before I can approach him, Solena jumps on him and tackles him to the ground. She sits over him and punches him in the face.
As one of the friends intervenes, Brendon hits him in the face and the two start to fight near the stairs. I take Parker. Parker was male and a strong wolf, but not as strong as I was.
The hallway is filled with students cheering. I use all the anger I have on Parker.
I remove my shoe and forcibly open his mouth. Park thrashes under me, but he doesn’t shrug me off.
‘You want to eat my pussy, here, eat this!’ I scream, putting my shoe in his mouth.
‘Fucking lick it, you bastard,’ I shout as I force my shoe down his throat.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
I grab him by the neck, and my claws extend. One wrong move from Parker, and he’s dead. He knows it. I see terror flash in his gaze.
‘No more bold huh, fucking bastard,’ I taunt, my eyes flashing. Ara is on the urging of ripping his throat out.
Everything suddenly quietened. The students in the hallway scatter as an oppressive aura fills the halls. Their wolves are whimpering and submitting. Is Dad here? Maybe Khai. They could only react like this to them, but I’m wrong, so wrong when I see who stands at the entrance. His hands are in his pockets and looking effortlessly gorgeous.
Zuriel, Ara purrs. I’m in awe of the man’s power.
Parker uses my moment of distraction to switch our position and hit my head against the floor. I feel blinding pain course through me, and a sharp wince escapes my lips before he’s yanked off me and thrown against the high ceiling, and he comes crashing to the floor with a thud.
‘Oh fuck,’ Ara growls as the pain of betrayal starts. Seriously, that bastard now? I need to leave.
‘Sol,’ I call, my voice weak. She immediately knows I’m in pain and rushes to me, not without kicking George in his skull.
‘Punk-ass bitch!’ she shouts and rushes to my side. My friends help me up, and even though I pretend to be alright, I’m not.
Zuriel has Parker in a chokehold. Parker is shaking in fear at the intimidating Zuriel. Everyone is silent in shock. They can’t even glance up to look at them.
‘Touch her again, and I will kill you and your lineage,’ Zuriel’s voice is low and deadly, sending cold shivers to everyone. He throws Parker against the wall like he weighs nothing. He stands a moment, glaring at Parker who is writhing, and moaning in pain.
Another sharp jolt of pain makes me whimper. My body is getting hot, and I withdraw from my friends knowing that they feel the hotness. We turn to leave when I feel arms under my legs and I’m lifted from the floor.
My eyes flutter and my stomach is in knots when I look up to the man who carries me bridal style. Zuriel doesn’t look at me though. He is taking large but graceful steps out of sight. I squirm as my pain intensifies,
‘Just let me go. I know I’m my body temperature is too hot,’ I whimper, but he doesn’t react. Did he hear me?
Zuriel puts me in his sedan and gets in the driver’s seat.
‘It hurts,’ I whine. My hands are clasping my stomach. It feels like there’s a volcano inside.
Zuriel doesn’t look at me. By the time we reach the packhouse, the pain is slowly fading, and my breath is back to normal.
‘Thanks,’ I say softly as I open my door to leave. I hop off, but my knees are wobbly. Zuriel comes to my side and carries me in his arms again. I blush profusely.
‘I can walk, Zuriel,’
‘I have no time to wait for you,’ his voice is emotionless.
‘You don’t have to,’ I murmur. He sighs as though I exhausted him,
‘Why are you causing trouble,’ he asked, looking at me for the first time.
‘He called me a whore,’ I snarl. He seems to be in thought.
‘Aren’t you though?’
