Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 167

Selena grabbed a pillow and gave Everett's annoyingly handsome face a solid smack. "Everett, just go to sleep already. You can dream up whatever you want!"

With that, she pulled the blanket over herself, rolling into a cozy cocoon, turning her back to him, and shutting her eyes.

She didn't bother with the guest room or the sofa because, no matter where she went, that jerk would find her. Might as well save herself the trouble.

Everett pulled the pillow away and turned to look at Selena. Her graceful silhouette was hard to resist, especially with her long, sleek hair. Unlike other women who constantly styled their hair with perms and dyes, she kept hers naturally smooth and straight, just the way he liked it. Whenever they were together, her hair spread across the bed like satin, a striking contrast against her skin. The visual was something else.

Selena was deep in a sweet dream when a wave of heat washed over her, becoming increasingly intense.

At first, she thought she was dreaming, but as the warmth grew, it felt like she was being slowly roasted, and she couldn't help but crack her eyes open.

Everett was kissing her all over, his large hands wandering and stoking her desires.

Selena's mind was still foggy, her voice husky from sleep. Her lips parted with a soft moan. "Everett, shouldn't you be at your morning workout?"

He never skipped a day and was fanatical about his fitness to the point of being obsessive.

His voice was even huskier and gravelly with desire as he playfully replied, "Aren't I working out right now?"

It took Selena a moment to catch on. She was both embarrassed and annoyed. So, his inaction last night wasn't some newfound conscience-it was just him biding his time!

Everett even had the nerve to say, "Since you're unwilling to pay my fee, I'm just collecting what's owed."Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

Selena was so mad she gritted her teeth, dropping any pretense of politeness. "Everett, could you be any more of a jerk?"

He acted like he hadn't heard,

holding her hands against her

cheeks and slowly intertwining their

fingers. He kissed her bright eyes whispering in her ear, "You're planning to sleep in anyway. Keep sleeping. From now on, you can sleep as long as you like

"Then get off me!" Selena retorted without hesitation.

"You sleep. We won't disturb each other."

Selena was at a loss for words.

How could she sleep now? She wasn't a piece of wood!

Seeing her flustered, Everett's eyes sparkled with a teasing smile. He leaned in again, capturing her lips, prying open her defenses, coaxing her to respond to his kiss.

Then, he claimed her fully.

...

Time slipped by, and once satisfied, Everett finally got up and strode into the bathroom.

Five minutes later, he emerged, refreshed and wrapped in a bathrobe, then changed into a suit in the dressing room. All suited up, he returned to the bed.

Leaning down, he gently tucked a

stray lock of Selena's hair behind her

ear, his voice filled with

contentment. "I'm heading to the office. Let's have dinner together tonight, okay?" en

Selena just closed her eyes, pretending not to hear.

Everett chuckled softly, giving her nose a playful tap as she blushed a soft pink. He then left for work.

The room went quiet.

After such a chaotic start to the day, Selena was wide awake. She felt sticky all over, and slowly got up to take a shower.

In the corner of her eye, she accidentally glanced at the trash bin by the bed. Inside were two used condoms. Her expression stiffened for a moment.
