Mistake with the Alpha

"I thought you'd abandoned me?"

Liza said to me. I looked at her with guilt. It's been a while since I've seen her. Many times she had called me to come but I wouldn't even reply and talk more of going. I was so angry at everyone then. I was really angry at myself for trusting that fool. Then Liza had warned me to stop being childish but then I was so much in love with that werewolf. Little did I know that he was a trap to me. I showed him a lot about myself and my work but in the end he betrayed me.

Liza pointed at the pot and I saw Sam's smiling face there. I didn't see anything so hard in killing her. I would have killed her for a long time if Allison wasn't using her mating bond to connect to Jaylen. "That would be easy," I said casually.

Liza shook her head at me.
