Mistake with the Alpha

POV

"Yes Omar. But then we have troubles" she said softly.

I knew it. She's not that benevolent to want to share such a powerful thing with us. If she could have done it, she wouldn't have even remembered that we exist, talk more of her calling us.

"Did you call us here because you've tried to get it and eat it all by yourself but then you weren't able to achieve it alone?" I asked her.

I could hear my father growl underneath. He wasn't fine with what I said but then it may be the truth. Looking at Diana, she gave me a wrinkled smile.

"My dear Allison, if I had wanted this all alone by myself, I wouldn't need your help. Even if I couldn't do it alone, all I'll do is control others with my magic to do it for me. But then I thought we are in this together, I should involve you. So don't insult my sincerity" she said between gritted teeth.

I grimaced at her words. I know she was right about her controlling others to do it for her but then I waved off the thought. I don't want to trust this woman. "What's the trouble all about?"

My father quickly changed the topic after eyeing me. It's not my fault that I don't like the woman.

"The trouble is not a big deal but it's not something we can overlook. It is that we are not the only ones looking for a way to grab the blue wolf's heart. The news about a blue wolf in the Sunclad pack has spread wide and abroad. Different types of people will come looking for her and if we don't smarten up, we will lose the blue wolf's heart and be ruled by others'' she explained.

I could see fear of losing the heart in her eyes. So she didn't want to be ruled by anyone. I even wished she didn't get the heart so that she would be enslaved forever.

"What are we going to do now? We can't enter the Sunclad pack, we'll be killed in an instant" I said.

This was quite a pain to me and it all curtsey the witch. She was the one who messed everything up for us.

"I've done my research and I've found out that you can't even go close to her. Your Alpha, her husband, is getting her guarded and he also is always close to her" Diana said.

With what she said now, how did she want to get close to the blue wolf without getting us caught?

"The only option left with us is that she has to be lured away from her guards and husband," she said.

"Getting someone to lure her out shouldn't be so hard," my father said.

I know that's true. My father is very right. Samantha is one with a very pure heart. She could be easily tricked. My father still has contacts with a few people in the Sunclad that still do acknowledge and who also didn't like both Jaylen and his mate. It won't be so hard for him to find someone who would do the job.

"If that's the case, I'll definitely find a way to make sure I distract her husband till her heart is taken out" Diana said.

My father nodded while I just looked. I just wished she wouldn't mess up this time around.

"Allison then, once the blue wolf is lure out, you'll be the one to capture her and remove her heart......."

I frowned at her. Although the plan is a good and favourable one, don't forget that I don't trust the witch.

"Why?" I interrupted her.

Diana looked at me for a few seconds before she spoke.

"I'm giving you the opportunity you've been seeking for all the while. Haven't you always wanted to show her that you are better than she is? Once she's brought to you, you'll have the opportunity to let her see your face as the one who finally ended her life as you wanted to do months ago. You'll have the joy of ripping out her heart," replied.

Diana was talking as if I'm going there to butcher an animal. Well, I don't care; it's not as if I've had one kill before, but then I'm not as cold-blooded as the witch.

What she said was the truth and quite enticing. I wouldn't mind seeing Sam's defeated face again. Nothing will make me happier than me tipping that bi*ch's heart out with my bare hands. It'll be as if I won a trophy.

But then I don't know why Diana is doing this. I sure know she doesn't like me and wouldn't do a thing if she's not gaining massively from it.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked her.

I'm so sure she has a motive behind this. It's either a bad motive or a very selfish one.

"It's a gift..."

"A gift?" I snorted with disdain.

What does this woman take me for? Who did she think I am? Someone that would be swayed away by just little tricks.

Her face looked so emotional, that I was almost deceived by it.

"Well I still don't believe your words and I'm still bothered at the reason you are doing this, but anyways I'll say thank you" u said in a low voice.

I didn't know that there'll get to be a day, I'll thank this witch. If I had dreamed about it I would have returned to sleep to correct it. I was quite glad that she gave me this opportunity. It's not only to get back at Samantha but to also get back at her (Diana).

Did she think that I'll be so stupid to bring back the blue wolf's heart to her? Not at all. I'll stay where I am and eat the heart. I'll give it to my father but if he doesn't want it, I'll eat it all. Then I'll come back to enslave the witch. I'll make sure she suffers till she dies. "One more thing" Diana said and she gave me a smile.

My heart skipped at that smile. I hope the witch couldn't read minds. If not I'll be so dead.

"What?" I asked with a frown.

"Omar, do you remember we've been poisoning the blue wolf and her mate for a while now?"

My father nodded. Wow! These I didn't even know. Is my father now so bewitched that he would do something behind me and wouldn't even bother to let me know?

"You'll have to tell whoever is instructed to do that to stop," she said.

"Why?" My father asked.

"If we're to eat the blue wolf's heart, we can't eat it with the poison in there. We'll also die" she replied.

My father and I nodded.

"But what are we going to do with the one already in their systems?" I asked.

"I'll give you an antidote. You'll give the blue wolf to drink before you kill her. Within two minutes, the antidote will gather the poison and she'll vomit them all out. Then it'll be safe to take the heart" she replied.

I nodded as she talked. This time, the witch's plan sounds so perfect. I just wished it would be as easy as it was envisaged. Even if I only get to kill Sam and couldn't take her heart before Jaylen gets there. Once I escaped, I'll still be glad because I killed her at last. I'll now see how the almighty Jaylen will survive any attack.

Then my father and those he said to have allied with will overtake the pack because all they will meet is a weak and mourning Alpha. All the plans are quite good. I love it. I'll get to deal with those that wouldn't respect who I am.
