Chapter 535

Chapter 535

Matthew pulled out his phone and quickly sent a message before answering her question. “Have you not always wanted to try paragliding?”

Cynthia paused. She recalled a past conversation they had had. She had mentioned wanting to fully immerse herself in a paragliding experience, to fly freely alone, to experience a true sense of relaxation. However, it had been four full years since she last had such an experience.

“This location is one of the best paragliding sites in the world. The conditions today are perfect for paragliding. We are the only ones here, and you can enjoy yourself as you please,” Matthew spoke up as a man approached them.

“Captain…” Cynthia hesitated.

“Go, get the gear on.” Matthew said, taking the equipment from the young coach who had walked over and handed it to Cynthia, “Take some time to unwind.”

Cynthia did not refuse. The environment was indeed breathtaking “Alright,” she agreed.

As Cynthia went to get equipped, the young coach approached Matthew and playfully elbowed him. “Are you courting

Someone?

“You’re overthinking it.” Matthew cut him off, not giving him the chance to gossip. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

“Why else would you bring someone here? The coach raised an eyebrow, a teasing look on his handsome face. “I remember you saying this place was off–limits to outsiders. Hmm?”

Matthew merely gave him a sideways glance, taking the equipment from his hand.

The young coach followed him, continuing his probing. “Why the hurry? Let’s chat.”

“I only chat with sensible people,” Matthew retorted sarcastically.

The coach was taken aback. He took a deep breath, deciding not to argue with his childhood friend, “I promise I won’t tell

anyone.”

“She’s my boss. I brought her here to relax,” Matthew offered without elaborating.

If it were someone else, he would not mind sharing his thoughts. However, this fellow was too gossipy. If he admitted his feelings, Cynthia would be bothered by incessant questioning today. He was here to help her unwind, not to feed someone’s curiosity.

The coach was puzzled. He rested his hand on Matthew’s shoulder, a serious look on his face. “You should really think about what you just said.”

“What’s the problem?” Matthew asked nonchalantly

“Yeah, right. Do you think I don’t know what your family does for a living? And you tell me she’s your boss? if you’re not trying to fool a young girl, I’ll unscrew my head and let you kick it like a ball.”

“It would dirty my shoes,” Matthew replied dismissively.

The young coach scurted Damn it! He was being mocked.

Matthew had already put on his gear, and Cynthila was also almost ready with her flight suit, gloves, goggles, and other necessary equipment all in place.

As they prepared for takeoff, the young coach asked Matthew, “Are you sure you don’t want me to accompany her?”

“Are you sure?”

“Her skills are no less than that of a pilot. There won’t be a problem. You go do your own thing.” Matthew replied, aware of what Cynthia was capable of and that she did not want anyone to accompany her.

The young coach gave Matthew a skeptical look. However, for safety’s sake, he decided to consult with Cynthia Cynthia confidently responded that she did not need any assistance. Seeing the assured expressions on their faces, the coach held his tongue. He prepared his own set of gear and joined them for the flight.

Despite his reluctance to admit it, the coach acknowledged Matthew’s reliability. Once Matthew assured him that there was no problem, the coach put his worries aside. Upon takeoff, Cynthia was immediately absorbed by the vista below, the high altitude, and the mountain terrain enshrouded in mist. She felt a release of tension, and her previously suppressed heart slowly began to relax and recover
