Mr. You, Please Dote On Me

Chapter 67: Youyou Is Angry

Xu Youyou tossed the fruit on the floor, pushed Song Meirong away and carefully checked Mrs. Shi’s face.

“Who is this rude girl?”

The second Mrs. Qin snorted scornfully. Xu Youyou stood out bravely, regardless of the fact that they were the Qins.Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

“It’s none of your business. How dare you break in and beat people? I’ll call the police!”

Xu Youyou secretly took out her phone and sent the recording to Shiyao, while standing in front of Mrs. Shi to argue with the Qins.

Shiyao’s mother covered her face in an effort to hold back tears. Now that her daughter had husband to rely on, she would never endure any grievance, nor would she flinch and let others trample on her.

“Youyou, step aside,”

Shi Nian pushed Xu Youyou aside and went to Song Meirong with her head held high. Song Meirong sneered, expecting her apology. Unexpectedly, Shi Nian raised her arms and slapped Song Meirong in the face, which made Song Meirong stagger and sink down on the ground.

“You slap me!”

Song Meirong was surprised in her heart but at the same time, she couldn’t keep up the charade any longer. She hoped Shi Nian would disappear from the world at once!

The second Mrs. Qin immediately helped Song Meirong up. Both of them were hard nuts to crack. Xu Youyou suddenly felt fits of sharp pain coming from her stomach, too weak to do anything.

Shi Nian was petite, but aggressive, which was fully inherited by Shiyao.

“Stop!”

Shi Xiang appeared in time and kicked the second Mrs. Qin to the ground without any hesitation.

“Xiaonian!”

“Brother…”

Her eyes were filled with tears and she hadn’t seen Shi Xiang for a long time. Ever since their parents died, he had been wandering abroad. He liked adventure and everything unknown, and was still single at the age of nearly fifty.

Seeing his wife was knocked down by another man, Qin Shaogang pounced on Shi Xiang, but was easily pinned down to the ground.

“Get out of here!”

Shi Xiang was tall and strong as a result of travelling all the year around, so Song Meirong had to stop. She left with the couple after speaking a few threatening words.

“Go back and tell Qin Shaofeng not to mess with my sister again, or I won’t let you off!”

Shi Xiang hated Qin Shaofeng to the core, the cold-blooded and selfish man who ruined his younger sister’s happy life. He loved his niece, Shiyao, very much, so he transferred all his property to his sister before going abroad.

Knowing that it was not easy for his sister to raise a child alone, he settled them before leaving.

However, the Qins picked on Shi Nian over and over again, which made her displaced for some time!

If his old friend hadn’t told him this, he might not know that his sister was tortured in such a way!

“Brother, when did you come back?”

After driving the Qins away, Shi Nian quickly wiped her tears. Xu Youyou looked around the room doubtfully and did not see Shiyao.

“Only recently,”

Shi Xiang sat wearily on the sofa. After so many years of wandering, it was time to come back to see his family.

“Who is she?”

He saw Xu Youyou nearby and asked in a low voice.

“Oh yes, this is Shiyao’s best friend. Youyou, please sit down!”

Xu Youyou stood smiling politely, and asked in confusion, “Auntie, where is Yaoyao?”

“Isn’t Yaoyao recovering at home? Or she is in hospital?’ Having learned from Mrs. Shi that Shiyao was kidnapped, Xu Youyou was very uneasy and feared that some bad things might have occurred.

“Yeah, where’s Yaoyao?” Shi Xiang noticed that his sister was alone in the house.

“Oh, Yaoyao is married and moved out.”

“Get married!” Xu Youyou’s mind went blank and her eyes were wide open.

Shiyao was married, but she didn’t know anything about it!

Shi Xiang was calm. It was normal to be married at Shiyao’s age, but he regretted having missed his niece’s wedding.

“Aunt, when did it happen?”

“Two months ago…” Shiyao’s mother thought that her daughter’s marriage was not a secret. After all, her son-in-law was so excellent that she was not afraid to let others know.

Xu Youyou nearly lost her balance, ‘Two months…’

“Aunt, I gotta go.”

After a hurried goodbye to Aunt Shi, Xu Youyou stumbled out and sat on the roadside to calm her thumping heart.

Suddenly her phone screen lighted up, and it was a call from Shiyao. Her hand paused in the air, and she finally did not answer.

She knew nothing about Shiyao’s marriage! Xu Youyou held her knees sadly, feeling like losing her world. She was an abandoned child, with nowhere to go.

Having failed to reach Xu Youyou, Shiyao was so worried that she shouted in the room. If You Ze hadn’t stopped her, she might have hit the ceiling.

“Take it easy, calm yourself down.”

You Ze tried to appease Shiyao, unable to laugh or cry.

“Fuck you calm down! Didn’t you hear the two shrews went to my home to bother my mother?”

When Shiyao opened the recording, she felt so bad all over. She was too kind to frighten the Qin family!

“Well, don’t worry. I’ll ask someone to visit mom now. Stay there…” You Ze made a call to Assistant Li, and then went on comforting Shiyao.

You Ze feared that Shiyao’s wound might get worse but dared not lose his temper with her. After a burst of rage, Shiyao hung her head.

“Are you tired?”

You Ze chuckled.

“You Ze, are you powerful?” Shiyao asked softly.

“Oh? What do you mean?” You Ze looked at Shiyao with interest.

“The Qin family are in awe of you. There must be many parts of you I don’t know, right?”

You Ze rolled his eyes, considering how to explain it to the little girl, and Shiyao continued,

“It doesn’t matter! You Ze, could you please keep Qin Wen in jail forever? They want to get her out? Over my dead body. I’ll let them regret bullying my mom…”

You Ze chuckled and echoed with Shiyao’s words.

“Why not?”

“Oh, no! The line is still busy. She must know something about us. She must be angry…”

Shiyao beat her head gloomily.

“Are you close to Xu Youyou?”

“Of course! We are the closest friends and promised to accompany each other for the rest of our life. But I lied to her, she must be sick of me…”

Shiyao showed a long face. Xu Youyou never lost contact with her.

“Eh… All right.” You Ze, with his mouth curled, couldn’t understand the thoughts of these little girls.

“And you! Don’t bully Youyou in the company!” Shiyao angrily pointed at You Ze’s nose, remembering that her friend was scolded for calling her today.

‘It was not me!’ You Ze looked helpless. Since Shiyao didn’t seem to know the thing between Zhong Yi and Xu Youyou, he might as well keep it a secret for the time being, lest she exploded in situ.
