Chapter 805 Divorce

“I don’t want to talk about him.” At the mention of Harley, Nina’s mood became worse.

She used to believe that because she had a child with Harley, he would be kind to her, and she was

willing to develop a relationship with him and spend the rest of her life with him.

But who knew that only a few months later, Harley would sleep with Sylvia, betray her, and even had a

child with Sylvia?

Nina was exhausted and stroked her stomach with her hands.

This poor little life should have never been conceived.

“I’ll take you home, Nina,” Tom Warren’s gaze was drawn to Nina, and he felt very guilty.

Nina might not have suffered as much if he had not insisted on breaking up with her.

“I don’t want to return.” Nina’s head shook. “Can you please let me stay with you for a few days?”

“Your parents will be concerned,” Tom Warren paused.

Nina’s face was filled with sadness. “It’s fine.”

Nina used to have a good relationship with her parents, but now that she knows they forced Tom

Warren to leave her, she can’t accept it.

“You rest first, and I’ll make you lunch. Don’t think about it too much, take care of your body first,” Tom

Warren advised Nina as she lay down.

“Hmm,” Nina frowned as she sensed Tom Warren’s concern for her.

Why do two people who clearly love each other suffer such hardships and find themselves in such a

situation?

The past came to mind, and Nina only felt as if his heart had been slashed with a knife.

“Are you sure you’re not going to tell Melissa about me?” Lina inquired casually, her gaze drawn to the

photo on the table.

“Not quite yet.” Murray responded quickly, leaving no trace.

The manager then entered and placed the papers on her desk, saying, “Mr. Gibson, I just saw Mrs.

Gibson at the door.”

Murray’s face changed instantly as these words were spoken, and he whispered, “What about now?”

“She already left.”

Murray grabbed the phone and dashed out the door, Lina trailing behind, “Wait. Your flowers!”

She followed him downstairs and put the flowers in his trunk.

Melissa’s disappointment was evident on her face as she dragged her weary body into the bedroom

after she got back. Seeing the entire room was packed with Murray’s things, she began to feel uneasy.

Melissa snatched the lotion from the table and smashed it on the ground.

Melissa regained control of her emotions. While holding back her tears, she turned on the computer,

drafted the divorce agreement, placed it on the table, and signed her name.

Unlike the last time, she would not give in.

“What’s the problem?” Jill heard the shattering of the lotion and hurried upstairs, where she saw such a

scene and aimed at the list on the table.

“Are you getting a divorce?” Jill asked, perplexed. “Is it because of Lina?”

Nodding her head, Melissa said, “Emotion is something that no one can do without.”

“I take it you no longer want it Jill said. She found out she was pregnant from the nanny.

“I want the child, but I’ll raise it on my own. I want absolutely nothing to do with him.” Melissa said and

took a deep breath to calm herself again. This child was not easily obtained, so she had to take good

care of it.

“I disagree…” From the door came a stiff but firm voice.

Murray stood in the doorway, dusty, followed by Lina, holding flowers.

Melissa recognized the flowers and snorted softly, “Mr. Gibson are you giving me flowers that were

supposed to be for you?

“What exactly are you doing here? I should have known your flowers were for Murray. If I had known, I

would never have sold them to you to do such a dishonorable thing,”

“You misunderstood, Melissa; he and I are just friends.” Lina tried to explain.

“Mr. Gibson, I’m not blind nor am I stupid. The divorce agreement is right there. I have already signed

it,” Melissa said as she stood up abruptly and straight in front of her.

Murray grabbed Melissa’s arm and said, “I’ll explain it to you when it’s over, you have to trust me,”

Murray grabbed Melissa’s arm and said, “I’ll explain it to you when it’s over, you have to trust me,”

“There is no need; I wish you happiness.”

Melissa drew Jill away and drove straight to the company.

“Ms. Eugen, this is the document that the department manager just sent you, and it needs to be

signed.” Melissa examined the documents on the table, all of which were long-term projects with

Murray Company. Her heart ached just thinking about it.

“Thank you. We’ll take it from here.” Jill motioned for the secretary to leave with a wave of her hand.

“Terminate all collaboration with the Gibson Corporation Group.

All projects, whether they are due or not, will be cancelled. We will cover the liquidated damages.”

Melissa’s heart shook as he made this decision.

“Are you insane? Doesn’t this make it obvious that you’re divorcing?” Jill exclaimed. As a result of their

productive partnership, the two businesses have never shied away from addressing any issues that

may arise.

“Do you really want to do this, Ms. Eugen?” The secretary inquired carefully. Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Do as I say; it must be resolved within three hours!”

The company went crazy for a little while after the order was issued, and it was all anyone could talk

about.

Even though the initial economic crisis has subsided, Melissa added another, and the news eventually

made its way to Murray.

“Your wife is a little concerning.” Lina sipped her coffee leisurely, unconcerned.

“These are all from Mrs. Gibson’s company, Mr. Gibson, saying that we should make a compensation

list and they will pay the liquidated damages.” He was taken aback when the manager sent the

documents.

Murray frowned and, after a long pause, said, “If you cancel the cooperation, you don’t have to pay.

Furthermore, if the collaboration has not ended, you will pay normally.”

Why are you being so cruel, Melissa? Murray thought.

Melissa noticed the bill in the finance room’s backstage area.

Murray returned all of the money, and she transferred it all back into her personal account.

She didn’t want to be obligated to anyone, so she texted Murray,

“Business.”

Murray threw down his phone and laughed at the computer screen.

“It appears that I am no longer fit to be here. Since it has had a negative impact on your marriage, I’m

leaving.” Murray did not hold back as Lina picked up the bag and walked out.

And the secretary was sent over to the branch, and there was news, so he came over as soon as

possible to report to him.

“As you might expect, Mr. Gibson, the general manager is tricky.”

The secretary’s primary responsibility at this time is to keep an eye on the branch, avoid mistakes, and

identify those who cause problems.

“Go on.”

“The branch’s general manager relied on the treatment and contacts provided by the head office,

suppressed the technical department everywhere, and insisted that the people in the technical

department control the stock according to his wishes, which resulted in such a major flaw in the

branch.” Furthermore, the general manager introduced his relatives to work in the company and

assisted covertly and secretly, destroying the branch.”

The secretary provided a video for proof that played out just as his secretary explained it.

Murray gave a cold snort. It is unavoidable that once some people gain power, they will turn morally

corrupt.

“Transfer the video to the company’s legal department and follow the rules.”

Murray drove to Melissa’s company after explaining the situation, stood under and waited, and did not

leave until it was dark.

“All right, let’s get something to eat. There are many rumors in that you and Murray had a falling out.

There has been a lot of news. Are you certain you’ve thought about it thoroughly? Do you think you’ll

regret it later?” Jill said.

Melissa casually waved her hand and said, “I’m fine, I’m not hungry, I’m just a little chilly, don’t worry

about me, I’m fine.” Jill was alarmed after hearing this.
