Chapter 1580: Ignoring
Chapter 1580: Ignoring
Camille and Ayan instinctively glanced over as a seductive woman approached them, taking confident strides.
Camille pursed her lips, her expression turning instantly cold, and the smile in her eyes gradually faded, leaving only a hint of indifference.
Without paying much attention, she simply shifted her gaze to Ayan. She noticed that his expression also turned chilly, seemingly devoid of any additional emotions.
Camille had no intention of acknowledging the presence of this woman. Instead, she continued to eat the fruits on the table in front of her.
Naturally, Ayan did the same. Throughout the encounter, he didn't respond in any way, merely casting a brief glance at Camille before returning his gaze to her enjoying the fruit. However, the woman didn't mind. Not only did she not mind, but she also approached them with a smile on her face.
She stopped in front of both of them, her gaze fixed on Ayan, unable to conceal her fondness in her eyes.
She pulled out a nearby chair and sat down directly, then turned to Ayan and said, "Ayan, have you been busy lately? Why haven't you invited me to have a meal together?"
Her words carried a playful coquettishness. Although her tone sounded like a question, it exuded a seductive charm.
Ayan squinted his eyes, maintaining a gentle gaze throughout, without any additional expression.
The woman didn't mind either. Her gaze remained fixed on Ayan, and her direct eye contact was a clear provocation to Camille.
But throughout the entire process, Camille paid no attention whatsoever. She even seemed as if she hadn't seen the woman at all.
The woman, displeased with the situation, gave Camille an unhappy look, and then her voice rang out once again, "Ayan, our company's partnership contract is going through the procedures. Has Kerry informed you about it?"
When it came to matters related to the company's collaboration, Ayan naturally had to respond. He calmly replied, "Yes, I have already been in contact."
The woman smiled, her voice filled with obvious delight. "That's great. I will be stationed in Hance City from now on. The thought of being able to see you every day makes me very happy."
Camille pursed her lips, remaining silent. She just lifted her eyelids slightly and glanced at Ayan, coincidentally meeting his gaze. Ayan's eyes narrowed slightly, and the depth in his eyes fascinated Camille. The interaction between the two infuriated the woman beside them. She attempted to regain Ayan's attention using her voice. "Ayan, once Kerry returns after finalizing the contract, we will officially become partners. Then we can see each other every day."
Ayan squinted his eyes, his voice unusually cold as he said, "Miss Daisy, it's time to stop with these words. Haven't you noticed my wife sitting right in front of me?"
Ayan's voice was icy, landing on Daisy's face like a slap, causing her face to sting.
Daisy's expression froze, and she naturally didn't dare to look at Camille. But deep down, she subconsciously believed that Camille was mocking her.
She pursed her lips, took a silent breath, and regained her composure. Looking at Ayan, she softly said, "Ayan, you are still in a divorced state, aren't you? You haven't remarried yet, so I can openly pursue you. It's unfair for you to deny my pursuit. It's not fair to me."
After finishing her words, she looked at Camille and added, "I don't think Miss Armstrong would mind, right? After all, Miss Armstrong's videos with other men are all over the internet. It wouldn't be fair to Ayan it we simply let him suffer, would it?"
Camille didn't say a word; she simply
glanced at Daisy. Daisy had
previously invited her to dinner, but Camille had firmly declined. Daisy's persistent provocations had only made the atmosphere between them more tense. They didn't know each other to begin with, but Daisy's infatuation with Ayan led her to directly provoke Camille. Naturally, Camille didn't show any pleasant expression.
Daisy, unperturbed, continued to speak while looking at Camille. "Doesn't Miss Armstrong have any confidence? Are you worried that I'll outshine you?"
Camille smiled, raising an eyebrow
as she looked at Daisy. "Miss Daisy is quite brave, showing such enthusiasm for a man who has a
girlfriend. Perhaps Miss Daisy's et
upbringing has shaped her thoughts differently from ours. The girls here are generally more reserved and self-respecting, avoiding any improper actions or thoughts."
Camille's cold gaze fell upon Daisy, emanating indifference. The chill in her voice startled Ayan, who was sitting across from her. He then faintly smiled.
Ayan pursed his lips and stared at Camille while she said, "Mr. Simpson, what do you think of my words?"
Camille wouldn't just stop there, watching Ayan's reaction. She directly called him out by name.
Ayan also smiled and casually replied, "Hmm, I think you're right."
Camille made a slight hum, seemingly unsatisfied but not dwelling on it.
The only dissatisfied one was Daisy. Since Daisy agreed with Ayan's words, she became extremely frustrated. Her face turned cold and grim, and she immediately said, "Ayan, I won't give up pursuing you. No matter what, I will persist until the end. One day, you will realize that I am the one best suited for you."
Daisy spoke with confidence, but Ayan didn't respond at all. Instead, he looked at Daisy and said, "Miss Daisy, you can stop with those words. I don't want to openly confront you because we still have a project to work on together. If I didn't have any cooperation with Fillery's Corporation, you wouldn't be sitting in front of my wife and speaking so rudely!" C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
Ayan showed no mercy to Daisy and directly slapped her face.
Daisy clenched her hands tightly on her knees, and her face became extremely stiff.
Her expression was rigid, her eyes filled with a cold and distant chill. However, Ayan and Camille paid no attention to any of it. They merely glanced at her indifferently before shifting their gaze away. Ayan asked Camille softly, "Are you full? If you're done, let's go!"
Camille responded with an "Hmm" and nodded.
The two completely ignored Daisy, not giving her any consideration. They stood up and left directly.
Daisy remained motionless, thinking that Ayan would at least show some basic courtesy due to the cooperation between their two companies. However, Ayan didn't care about any personal feelings and simply left.
After Camille and Ayan paid the bill and left the restaurant, Camille finally spoke up and asked, "Are we just leaving like this? Won't it affect your cooperation with Tillery's Corporation?"
Ayan casually replied, "Of course not. Why would it affect anything? She's not my business partner."
Camille smiled and said, "Then I'll also directly confront her in the future without any impact on you, right?"
