Chapter 775 The Reunion After Breakup
Robert's words were tactful.
However, everyone in the business world was astute. The CEO on the other end immediately caught
on, he chuckled and said, "I get it. I understand."
Robert chuckled lightly and said, "Thank you for your help, Mr. Carson"
"Sure, no problem. When I have time, I'll visit Mr. Farrell. The sale of our company's agricultural
products will rely on your company this time."
Robert replied, "I will definitely convey your message to Mr. Farrell."
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Robert hung up the phone and sent a WhatsApp message to
Colin, "Done."
Colin's reply came surprisingly quickly, "I heard from William that Aniston will be participating in a
variety show in a couple of days. Shall I sign you up?"
Robert asked, "What kind of variety show?"
Colin said, "Recently, there's a popular variety show called "Reunion After Breakup."
Robert asked, "If you and Faye participate in a variety show, it's about being in love. But if we both join
a variety show, why is it has to be "Reunion After Breakup?"
Colin replied, "Contentment brings happiness. Seeing each other again is better than not seeing at all.
Would you like to go? If you don't want to go, I'll reply to William."
Robert continued, "William contacted you?"
Colin asked, "Otherwise? Will I take the initiative to contact William?"
Robert answered, "I'll go."
Seeing Robert's reply, Colin smiled, "Alright, I'll let William know." Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
After saying that, Colin casually tossed his phone aside, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
Faye noticed that Colin put down his phone and asked with a smile, "Why didn't you tell Robert the
truth?"
"Huh?"
Faye picked up a magazine and flipped through it, then she said, "I ran into Mr. Ford the other day. He
mentioned that you funded a variety show called 'Reunion After Breakup.'"
Colin clicked his tongue.
Faye chuckled, "Doing good deeds without leaving your name?"
Colin pulled Faye into his embrace and rested his forehead against hers, "Can't help it. After all, your
husband is inherently kind-hearted."
Faye wrapped one hand around Colin's neck and held the magazine in the other. She smiled and said,
"Well, I believe that."
"Really?"
Faye nodded, "If I don't even believe my own husband, who else can I believe?"
After she finished speaking, without waiting for Colin to respond, Faye leaned in, and her red lips
brushed against his. She kissed him at the corner of his mouth.
Colin's Adam's apple bobbed as he changed the position of his hand from being hooked around Faye's
waist to gripping it firmly, "Honey, why did you become so skilled lately?"
Faye's eyes curved, the magazine she was holding slipping from her hand as she playfully asked,
"Skilled at what?"
The hand that was resting on Faye's waist tightened as Colin remained silent, his gaze got deepened.
Seeing Colin's lack of response, Faye bent her knees slightly, shifting the leg that was against his
abdomen.
Colin's breath hitched, his deep gaze lowering to the hem of Faye's skirt that had been lifted slightly
due to her kneeling posture.
The hem of the skirt had been raised to her thighs, revealing her fair and slender legs.
A fraction below the hem was a realm of forbidden secrecy.
Colin's voice turned hoarse. He asked, "Honey, what do you want to do?"
Without answering, Faye tilted her head and pressed her lips against Colin's, kissing him with careful
and patient precision.
Colin steadied his emotions and endured for about half a minute before finally taking a deep breath and
nipping at Faye's lower lip, turning the tables.
Recently, both of them had been busy, and now that they allowed themselves a moment of passion, it
was like a spark that could ignite a wildfire.
Over an hour later, Colin was holding Faye in the bathroom, their lips locked in a passionate kiss,
leaning against the tiled wall. His hands trailed down her shoulder, following the curve of her collarbone
and descending...
At the height of their passion, Faye's eyes were tinged with a blush, and they glistened with moisture.
She breathed out amidst the steam and said, "Colin, let's have a child."
With those words, Colin gripped Faye's shoulders and pressed her against the wall, his voice husky as
he whispered into her ear, "Alright, let's have one."
When Colin carried Faye out of the bathroom, it was already approaching dawn.
Faye lay on the bed, burying her face into the pillow without moving.
Seeing that, Colin chuckled softly and affectionately ruffled Faye's hair with his hand, "Alright, I won't
tease you anymore. Just lie down and rest."
Faye said, "I want some water."
"I'll go get it." Colin got up from the bed.
After taking a couple of steps, Colin turned to Faye and asked, "Honey, are you sure you want to have
a child?"
Faye turned around, her gaze was firmed, and she said, "Absolutely."
Colin's lips curled into a smile and replied, "Okay."
A little while later, Colin returned with a glass of water and approached the bed, "It's warm now, perfect
for drinking."
Faye felt so sleepy and not wanting to move, she murmured, "I don't want to drink anymore."
Colin chuckled softly. After a few seconds, the bed sunk to one side, and a straw was pressed against
Faye's lips.
Faye suddenly opened her eyes and met Colin's indulgent gaze, causing her to instinctively purse her
lips.
Colin grinned, "Is the after-sales service up to your standards?"
Faye nodded, "Absolutely."
That night, Faye slept particularly soundly.
The next day, she opened her eyes and saw Colin beside her. She turned and embraced him, "Colin."
Colin, who was half awake, lowered his head to kiss her forehead and asked in a sleepy voice, "What's
wrong?"
Faye's mind raced, and she spoke up, "Let's get married."
Colin chuckled and thought that she might have said it casually. He smiled and responded, "Sure."
Faye continued, "As soon as possible."
Colin placed a kiss on Faye's eyelid and said, "Alright, when would you like to get married?"
Faye took a deep breath and responded, "The sooner, the better."
Colin nodded and replied, "I'll take care of it."
The wedding plans for the two were officially set in motion.
Colin was very efficient. Since he mentioned that he would handle it, by noon on the same day, he
informed Faye that the wedding was scheduled for two days later.
Upon hearing that news, Faye was in the middle of having catfish soup. She cleared her throat, looked
up at Colin, and asked, "So soon?"
"Is it fast? Why do I feel like it's a bit slow?"
Faye set down the ladle and continued, "That's fast, could it be..."
Faye intended to ask if it might be too rushed, but Colin leaned down, cutting her off, "No choice,
Madam Farrell is so eager to marry me."
After Colin finished speaking, seeing that Faye didn't refute him, he pushed a bit further, "Madam
Farrell, are you really that eager now? Huh?"
Colin's words hung in the air as he fixed his gaze on Faye.
Faye bit her lip and her ears slightly turned red.
Not wanting to get too embarrassed, Cindy, who was standing nearby broke the awkwardness. She
cleared her throat twice and mumbled to herself.
"Oh dear, I think I still have the dessert stewing in the kitchen."
"It seems like time is running out."
"I need to go check it quickly."
Cindy acted busy and quickly rushed into the kitchen.
Colin propped up the back of Faye's chair with one hand and turned his head to look at Cindy, "Cindy, I
can see the kitchen. There doesn't even have the stove on."
Cindy paused, stumbled in her steps, and stuttered, "You... You're a man. What do you know about
cooking? I... I'm using an electric stew pot."
After her explanation, Cindy darted into the kitchen and didn't come out anymore.
Faye couldn't help but laugh, "Cindy is an old lady. Could you please stop making fun of her?"
Colin looked down with a smile and said, "Isn't this kind of family atmosphere good?"
Faye smiled warmly and answered honestly, "It is."
As Faye spoke, Colin reached out and lightly pinched her neck from behind, "I also think this kind of
family atmosphere is very good."
After Colin finished speaking, and Faye was about to reply, Colin's phone which was in his pocket rang.
Seeing that was a call from Maxwell, Colin raised his eyebrow slightly and answered, "Hello."
Maxwell's voice came through playfully over the phone, "I heard that my dear nephew is getting
married?"
