My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being

Chapter 662

The Central Hospital was backed by the Nichols Group!

To ensure the safety of Debra and their unborn child, Juan had made sure the hospital had top–tier medical equipment and plenty of blood reserves. There was no way things could suddenly go wrong.

It was Shelia.

Suddenly, Juan felt like a hand was dragging him out of his dream. He woke up in his hospital bed, a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.

“Sir, you should focus on your recovery. I’ve heard from my sources that Marlon and Randy are heading to Flesta. Ms. Frazier will be fine,” Joe said.

The smell of disinfectant assailed Juan’s nose, reminding him of Debra bleeding out on the operating table. He finally understood why Debra had been so resentful and terrified of him.

He was the cause of everything that had happened in their past lives.

“Sir? Are you alright?” Joe asked with concern, seeing Juan’s strange reaction.

Just as he was about to call a doctor, Juan put on a puzzled expression. “Who is that?”

Joe froze. “Sir, it was Debra”

Instead of going on with the topic, Juan got up and asked, “How are things progressing at Arcane Academy? Did Shelia’s grades come out?”

“Sir…” Joe was stunned. “Shelia graduated a long time ago. She’s the daughter of the Blair family now. And Ms. Frazier was your wife. You don’t remember?”

“What are you talking about? Juan said dismissively. “Cancel tomorrow’s meeting. I promised to celebrate with Shella. Push the meeting.” NôvelDrama.Org © content.

“Okay, sir. I’ll call the doctor for you,” Joe said, leaving the room with a heavy heart.

As Joe’s footsteps faded down the hall, Juan’s gaze grew darker.

He muttered to himself, “Debra, what I owe you, I’ll repay. I’ll set you free.”

Later that evening, Debra received a call from food delivery. She opened the hotel door, ready to grab her dinner, only to be startled by the sight of the bodyguard standing in the hallway.

“Ms. Frazier.”

“Do you need something?”

Debra recognized him as a bodyguard assigned by the Odom family to serve Drake.

Flesta was ruled by law. It was not a place for Drake’s thugs, and he had to borrow men from the Odom family.

The bodyguard replied, “Mr. Lowe instructed me to assist you with anything.”

Debra said, “Alright, help me grab my takeout from downstairs. The delivery robot ran out of power, and

I’m starving.”

She had been sick all afternoon, possibly from something she ate at the hotel’s restaurant, and now she

was ravenous.

The hotel’s dinner service had lost its appeal, and takeout seemed like a better option.

“Right away, Ms. Frazier. I’ll be back soon,” the bodyguard agreed.

Debra nodded, closing the door behind her. Just then, two men emerged from the shadows at the end of the corridor.

They exchanged a glance before making their way to Debra’s room.

Hearing the knock, Debra assumed the guard had returned. Without a second thought, she opened the door and asked, “Anything else?”

But what greeted her were the faces of two strangers. Before she could react, one of them sprayed something into her face.
