Chapter 894
Chapter 894
Her world was one of brightness.
"Goodbye," Jasper said before leaving. Choosing to move on, he decided not to prolong the farewell or
be indecisive about it.
"Esther, may you have a passionate and brilliant life," he added.
Esther redirected her gaze from Jasper to Logan and handed a gift to him. In surprise, she commented,
"This guy is so strange. Could he be someone who has always liked my sister? What was my sister
thinking? Leaving someone who adored her like that and insisting on being with a lunatic like Bradley..."
"Maybe it's love, or maybe it's obsession," Logan mused.
Esther shook her head in disagreement. "My sister couldn't possibly be a hopeless romantic."
How could someone like Bradley deserve the sincere love of a woman?
"You're right."
Bradley lingered until the end of the engagement party. If there were doubts about Esther's identity
before the ceremony, everyone was crystal clear about how she was different from the Esther they
knew by the time it ended.
For most people, who Esther really was didn't matter.
Bradley approached Logan and Esther, accompanied by a few bodyguards who kept their distance.

engagement party.
"Are you really not Esther?" Bradley questioned.
Esther was exasperated. She turned to Logan, holding her head. "Is this person's brain malfunctioning?
Why can't he understand plain speech?"
Bradley felt as though his heart had been sliced. The little red mole that belonged to Esther had
vanished, and the scars on her body had also disappeared.
Although Bradley's rational mind told him that the Esther before him wasn't the one he yearned for, he
couldn't resist the urge to get close to her.
Esther was startled by the eerie possessiveness in Bradley's eyes and wondered if he was trying to pull
off some kind of doppelganger trick.
Bradley said, "I don't care who you are. I won't allow—"
Esther cut him off with a mocking laugh. She grabbed a bottle of red wine nearby and walked up to
him, pouring the wine over his head.
"Bradley, ease up on those ridiculous novels, got it?" she said, smashing the wine bottle onto the floor.
Bradley gazed at the shattered glass, much like his fragmented heart.
"Esther, you're not well. Don't get angry. Let's go back to the hospital," Logan suggested, holding
Esther's hand and leading her past Bradley.
A familiar scent grazed Bradley's nose, and he instinctively reached out toward Esther to grab her
delicate wrist.
Disgusted, Esther raised an eyebrow and promptly threw Bradley over her shoulder. He hit the floor
with a thud.
Esther took a napkin from Logan and wiped where Bradley had held her with a disdainful look.
"Bradley, this is the first time. If there's a next time, I'll personally chop off your hands!"
