Chapter 89 Went To The Qin Family
She was so sad that she couldn't help but burst into tears.
She sniffed and smiled, "Dad, of course I'll come to see you!"
After a pause, she added, "and I will take you out."
After saying that, the lawyer's words kept resounding in her mind. She could not help but ask, "Dad, do you know who is behind this?"
The bankrupt of the Wen Family happened so fast, and she found that Haber has something to tell her but say nothing in the end. He had also advised her not to have too much contact with Kevin before.
But after she was together with Kevin, he never mentioned it again.
"Lily, don't get involved in this matter anymore." Haber's face gloomy, and her figure could be seen in his turbid eyes.
"Why not?" She bit her lips.
Haber's attitude began to be cold. "I asked you not to investigate again. You must listen to me!"
"Father!" Lily was emotional and asked, "Why can't you tell me?"
Judging from his attitude, it seemed that he knew who is behind this. But if he didn't tell her, she would has to investigate like seeking for a needle from the sea.
"You can leave now." Haber sneered and added, "don't come again."
He pushed her out as he spoke. She was afraid that she might bump into her belly, so she was pushed to the door by Haber quickly.
"Dad, please tell me..." She pleaded.
But Haber didn't answer her. After he pushed her out, he locked the prison door.
With a click, the door were locked. He returned to his bed and covered himself with a quilt without looking at Lily.
Her tears fell instantly.
Holding the iron ring on the prison door tightly, she stared inside.
Even if her father didn't tell her, she would find out by herself. Thinking of this, she bit her lips tightly, took a deep look at her father and walked out of the prison step by step.
Out of the prison, she looked at the blue sky, she felt lost.
Haber knew the truth, but he never told Lily. There must be a secret hidden inside. But his attitude
She sighed deeply.
When the driver saw her, he immediately drove over. Lily got on the car silently, thinking about all families of the Wen Family.
To her horror, however, she found that she knew very little about her families.
She knew nothing about the family feud.
She had been protected too well by Haber these years.
"Drive me to company." Lily bit her lip and ordered the driver.
Lily hadn't been to the company since Kevin knew the existence of the baby. He was supposed to have transferred all her work to someone else.
Someone came to greet her as soon as she entered the company. She just smiled without saying anything.
As soon as she came, Kevin had received the message. He directly asked someone to lead Lily to his office.
"My parents wanted us to go home tonight." When she just sat down, she heard this breaking news.
"I don't want to go." She pressed her lips tightly.
"Just one meal." Upon hearing that, Lily was aware that she had to go.
Her father's issue hadn't been solved yet, it was not worth to angry Kevin now. Thinking of this, she gritted her teeth and agreed.
After they leave company, they handed to home directly. As soon as they entered the living room, they saw Fiona and Hana.
The servant walked to Fiona and asked, "Madam, everyone is here. Shall we prepare the dinner?"
Fiona nodded and Hana said, "let me help."
As soon as she finished speaking, Fiona stared at Lily with a meaningful look.
Lily bit her lips tightly and turned her head to the other side, looking at the potted plant beside as if nothing had happened.
"It's not easy for my sister-in-law come to have dinner, so I have to cook a good meal for you." Hana said with a sneer.
Lily clenched her fists and pretended not to hear.
"It seems that I have never eaten the food cooked by my daughter-in-law." Fiona said with a sigh.
"Aunt, haven't you had dinner cooked by Lois?" Hearing that, Hana pouted.
The two of them echoed each other and mean to blame her actually.
In the end, Hana directly put Lois and Lily together, and frankly speaking, no one can compared with Lois.
"So arrogant, but she is nothing, that's all." Fiona waved at her, rolled her eyes at her, and turned around to leave.
Hana regained her composure and curled up her lips into a small smile. She shrugged her shoulders and left with Fiona.
"Lily..." Kevin then walked up to Lily.
She was so angry that she didn't look at him but smiled at the servant, "take me to the kitchen."
Kevin grabbed her hand and stopped her.
She pushed him away and Kevin held her by the waist. She was under his control. "Hey, Lily, for this one time, let's have dinner together, okay?"
She looked at him deeply.
She knew what he meant. He just wanted her to be patient for a while, and not to care what Fiona and Hana said.
Her father's issue hadn't been solved yet, so she didn't want to make trouble. She smiled lightly and said, "It's OK. I just want to cook a meal."
She often cooked for her parents at home. She didn't like to be manipulated by others. Since Hana said that she was not as good as Lois, she needed to prove that of course.
"Stop it." Seeing that Kevin was about to speak again, she put her index finger on his lips.
Seeing that, Lily licked her lips and shook her head.
She followed the servant to the kitchen, which was well equipped at Qin Family.
Soon, she prepared the dinner according to everyone's taste.
After the dishes were placed on the table, the servant went to call Fiona and others. Looking at the delicate delicacies on the table, Lily clapped her hands and nodded contentedly.
She went back to the kitchen and prepared the fruit platter. When she took the platter out, many people were sitting at the table. ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Everyone was here except for Kevin.
However There was only an empty chair on the table.
Lily looked around and saw the mocking smile on Hana's face, she understood immediately.
She walked over as if nothing had happened and sat down directly on an empty chair.
"Lily, we don't have any spare seats. You can go to the dining room to eat." Hana said all of a sudden.
She raised her head and saw Fiona's emotionless face. Hearing that, Hana looked at her too, with a faint smile at the corners of her mouth.
The feeling of grievance spread little by little in her heart. She pursed her lips tightly, and her hands under the table unconsciously clenched into fists.
After a few seconds of stalemate, Lily sighed and stood up unwillingly.
