Chapter 451
Chapter 451
Arabella paused and said, "We are already divorced." Her slender feathered eyelashes blinked twice.
"Well, let me put it this way. You haven't given up on Kenneth's condition, and you still want to cure him.
That's why you want to take away the Mandala flower, isn't it?"
Arabella turned around and looked at Tyrone. "This is my own business. It's already late now, and I
want to rest."
She was essentially driving him away.
Tyrone looked at her for a while, then said, "With your current condition, you absolutely cannot touch
the Mandala flower again, unless you're willing to risk your life. Although I don't know what you're
planning, for safety reasons, I'll be on the same flight to Faykarta with you tomorrow. I'll wait for you at
the airport. Rest well. See you tomorrow."
Tyrone left the room.
Arabella frowned, wondering what he meant. Is he monitoring her?
She sat in a chair and took out the medical book, flipping to the last page.
...
Tyrone left the room and took out his phone, making a call. "From now on, have someone keep an eye
on Arabella. We'll fly to Faykarta tomorrow. I don't want anything unexpected to happen when we
leave."
...
The following day, Arabella woke up naturally, and when she finished washing up, it was already past
nine o'clock. She opened the door and walked out.
As she stood in the corridor, she heard steady footsteps approaching. She glanced sideways and saw
a tall and handsome figure walking towards her-it was Kenneth.
He was here too.
Arabella didn't expect to run into him here so suddenly and unexpectedly. She was utterly unprepared
for this encounter, as it was the first time they had met after their divorce. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
She quickly averted and looked at the jumping red numbers on the elevator panel.
Kenneth walked over and stood beside her. His voice was deep and hoarse. "How have you been
lately?"
Arabella didn't look at him and simply nodded. "Hmm, quite good. Are you also staying in this hotel?"
"I'm here for work." He gave a brief answer.
"Oh." Arabella didn't say anything else, trying hard to appear relaxed and natural.
Then she heard his low, husky voice again, "Last night, I saw Tyrone entering your room. It seems like
things have progressed quickly between you two. How far have you gone?"
Arabella froze for a moment and quickly turned to look at him. He was also looking at her, his narrow
eyes filled with exhausted red blood vessels. Dark circles marred his complexion, indicating that he
wasn't in a good mental state. There was an aura of sickly gloom and hostility around him.
"I don't understand what you're talking about." The elevator arrived, and Arabella dropped those words
before stepping into it.
However, her delicate wrist was caught by a firm grip the next moment. The man's clearly defined
fingers pushed her against the wall.
Her slender back pressed against the wall, his muscular chest in front of her. Arabella found herself
trapped in his embrace. She furrowed her brows and said, "Mr. Lucero, if you have something to say,
just say it. Don't touch me."
At such close proximity, he could smell the sweet scent of her youth that he was infatuated with and
fond of. "Seems like you have misconceptions about me touching you. Before I actually lay hands on
you, answer my question honestly. What did you and Tyrone do in the room last night?"
Arabella looked into his bloodshot eyes, pressing her hands against his muscular chest, trying to push
him away. "This is my private matter. It's none of your business, Kenneth. You're really annoying!"
