My Rich Hot and Infertile or Maybe Not Husband

Chapter 1133

Chapter 1133

“Bitch Sydney got busted!”

Trisha sprang up from the tree, “I thought she was just morally screwed up, but she has actually broken the law! Can’t believe she had the balls to do this!”

Nicolas was startled by her sudden move, “Chill out! This branch is way too thin to handle you.”

But Trisha tuned him out; all she could think about was how that sneaky Sydney finally got what she deserved. This was a true

taste of sweet justice.

“She’s been throwing her weight around the entertainment industry for years, it’s about time someone took her down! How long could she get? They better not go easy on her”

Trisha kept rambling on, “She’s capable of setting up someone to sexually assault a colleague; how could she possibly not evade taxes? She’s buddies with Naomi, I bet she’s using drugs too! I’ve gotta report this”

She then squatted down, typing on her phone, “What’s the hotline number?”

Nicolas looked at her with dread, watching the branch she was stepping on almost bent to its breaking point, “Get down first, it’s not safe up there”

“Almost done!” Trisha said, keying in the number she found Just as she was about to hit the dial button, she heard the cracking sound of the branch, followed by her own short scream, and then she fell. Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Nicolas was taken aback; he quickly dropped his apple basket and tried to catch her.

But he failed to even touch her clothes. Trisha fell straight down onto the grass in front of him.

Nicolas was

dumbfounded.

He looked at his empty hands and hurried over to check on Trisha,

“How are you?”

Trisha rubbed her butt and complained, “Why did you throw the apples on the ground? They hurt my butt.”

The tree wasn’t high and the grass underneath was soft, so the fall wasn’t painful. What actually hurt her was one of the apples Nicolas dropped.

After seeing that she was alright, Nicolas heaved a sigh of relief and patted the dirt off her clothes, “I told you to calm down, but you were dancing around up there. How could that little tree handle your antics?”

Trisha glared at him and shoved him to the ground, “If you weren’t so useless and caught me, would I have fallen?”

Nicolas propped himself up on his palms and chuckled, “What? Do you think this is a romantic comedy? No matter how fast I run, I can’t beat gravity”

“Excuses, excuses!”

Trisha got up, brushed off her pants, picked up her phone, and resumed her interrupted call.

As Nicolas was picking up the apples, he said, “Don’t bother, if you’ve thought about it, Liam must have too. Let’s just enjoy our holiday”

Trisha paused. “Are you saying Liam did this to Sydney?”

“Who else do you think it would be?”

Trisha frowned, asking suddenly. “So what PR work did Rory do for Letti?”

Nicolas nonchalantly replied. “An apology letter You really thought Letti wrote that professional letter herself?!”

“Oh.” Trisha glanced at him and then forwarded the apology letter to Rory.

Nicolas finished collecting the fallen apples as his back ached from the work. He looked into the distance, asking “How many apple trees did your mom plant?”

They arrived at the orchard at eight in the morning, and he saw nearly a hundred fruit pickers

“Not that many” Trisha glanced behind her, where all the trees were

“When can we go back?”

Nicolas took off his hat and fanned himself. This was much more exhausting than working out at the gym

“We have to at least finish this row.” Trisha snorted at his uselessness, “Who asked you to come? I was supposed to be taking a break at home, but you volunteered to be free labor and dragged me into this!”

Nicolas struggled for a response.
