Chapter 86
Chapter 86
Celeste frowned and walked to the door, knocking.
*Kaylee?”
There was no response from inside, but she could hear some rustling noises.
Celeste raised her voice again, “Kaylee, stop playing around. Say something!”
Still, no one answered from inside.
She hesitated for a moment, then pushed the door open and walked in.
The bathroom had only three stalls, all of which were closed. One of them had continuous flushing sounds, and it seemed some other noises were mixed in. That was probably what she had heard outside.
“Kaylee-” She hadn’t even finished calling the name when someone suddenly shoved her from behind.
Caught off guard, Celeste stumbled forward a few steps, her phone flying out of her hand.
When she turned around, she found the bathroom door had been closed from the outside.
A wave of unease washed over Celeste as she hurried to pull the door open, only to find it had indeed been locked from the outside.

Celeste clenched her teeth and banged on the door, “Kaylee, is this your idea of a joke? This prank isn’t funny at all! Open up!”
There was no response from outside. Had Kaylee already left?
Recalling Kaylee’s previous pranks, Celeste believed that she was capable of locking her in the bathroom.
The hotel’s soundproofing was excellent, so no one seemed to notice her banging on the door.
She had initially planned to call the hotel and ask the staff to help, but when she picked up her phone, she discovered it was broken. The screen was shattered, and she couldn’t see anything.
Now she could only wait for someone to come to the bathroom and help her open the door.
What Celeste didn’t know was that before Kaylee left, she had placed an “under maintenance” sign outside the bathroom door. Unless the staff noticed, no one would likely pass by
The hotel bathroom was exceptionally clean and odorless, even scented. Still, being stuck inside was unbearable.
She fiddled with her phone, trying to open the contacts from memory and call anyone for help-even just to contact the hotel.
But before she could make a call, she heard a hoarse panting sound coming from the bathroom stall.
At first, Celeste thought she had misheard.
But soon,
the sound came again, even more urgent than before.
Celeste took a couple of steps back and bent down to peek under the stall door. What she saw scared her to hell-someone seemed to be lying on the floor inside.
She hurried over and knocked on the door
“Are you okay? Can you speak?”
The person inside only continued to make that hoarse panting sound, heavy and weak.
The stall door was locked from the inside, so she couldn’t pull it open.
At this rate, she feared that the person inside wouldn’t last until someone arrived.
Decisively, Celeste went to another stall, climbed up the partition wall using the toilet and a shelf.
-Thankfully, she was wearing a suit, which didn’t hinder her climbing at all.
Once she jumped to the other side, she found that the girl’s face had turned pale, and the sound from her throat had become weak.
“Where’s your medicine?”
As Celeste asked, she saw the asthma inhaler had fallen into the toilet, rolling around in the water.
