No. 1 Supreme Warrior

Chapter 4178

Chapter 4178

Zayne scoffed, "Alright then, how do you want to work together?"

He wanted to see what Jack was trying to do.

Jack did not waste any time, "Both of us have all three keys, and we can open the door. Ten people can enter the door anyway. I just need two of those spots."

Zayne looked at Jack meaningfully, "You sure know quite a bit."

Jack even knew that only ten people would be allowed through. He seemed to have done his homework. NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.

Zayne took out his purple key from his storage ring.

At that moment, all three keys were there. As long as all the keys were placed together, the gateway to the Valley of Enlightenment would open.

"If you only need two spots, then I don't mind working with you," Zayne looked at Jack meaningfully, but he quickly added, "However, make sure you don't cause any trouble during the important moments."

Jack smiled before he said, "I've always been someone who keeps to my word. I'm more worried that you'll cause me trouble instead. There are many geniuses in the Valley of Enlightenment. They'll be your enemies in the future, not me!"

Zayne was quite convinced by Jack.

Jack was right. The Valley of Enlightenment was even more mysterious than the Whirling World. It was full of challenges. Facing all those dangers, Jack did not seem that important anymore.

"If you can assure me that everything you said is true and that you won't go against your word, I'll work with you," Zayne said in a serious voice.

Seymour glinted in his eyes as he tossed aside his hatred for Jack at that moment.

Entering the Valley of Enlightenment was the most important thing. It was what he had been obsessed about. Even though he still wanted to kill Jack, he wanted to at least go through that door first.

Yet, at that moment, Jack suddenly looked at him with an expression full of mockery, "I have a condition. I'm willing to work with you but for this one man!"

Jack pointed at Seymour, "You have to kill him yourself!"

"What? Jack, you're looking to die here!" Seymour yelled.

He was furious. His anger completely took over his rationality.

He took out a whip from his storage, "You dog! I was thinking about letting you off, but I can't believe you're taking it so far!"

Squelch!

Suddenly, a wound could be seen on Seymour's chest, and blood gushed out wildly. Seymour's hand shook as it grasped the whip.

He looked at Zayne in disbelief, "Zayne! How could you?"

Looking at that scene, other than Jack and Zayne, everyone was absolutely surprised. Lourain was stunned in place.

That was just too quick!

Jack had just brought up killing Seymour to work together. Lourain had thought that Zayne would be angered by that. Even if Zayne agreed in the end, it would have needed some negotiation. Yet, Zayne had acted so quickly. Before anyone could even react, he stabbed Seymour right in the chest.

Blood flowed from Seymour's mouth, and his eyes widened as he said, "Despicable!"

Zayne pulled out his blade without any emotion. Seymour's body collapsed on the ground, stirring up some dust.

"I agree with your suggestion. He's already useless. There's no point keeping him alive."

Those words were what sent Seymour off.

Lourain and the others shuddered at those words. Zayne was even more ruthless than they thought! Just thinking about working together left a bitter taste in their mouths.

Jack had a much higher tolerance than the others.

After he saw Seymour's corpse, he looked right at the door.

Zayne did not want to waste any time. The other warriors at the peak were still working on maintaining the overall situation. He wanted to take advantage of the chance to enter alone. He had been working together with the other warriors at the peak out of personal benefit anyway.

There were three keyholes. The two of them put the three keys together, and they heard some clicking from the door. In anticipation of any surprises, they took a step back together at the same time.
