Chapter 1158 Sect Leader
Chapter 1158 Sect Leader
"You may go."
After the Third Elder left, Olivia told everyone else to leave as well.
"Yes."
The other elders were unwilling to stay with Olivia any longer and immediately flew away.
"Come with me,"
Olivia said, casting a glance at Darren. Then, she turned around and flew towards the peak in the
distance.
Darren didn't follow her immediately. Instead, he walked over to the immortal.
"Let Elsa out."
"Why?"
"Because you don't have emotions or behave like humans do. You're more than likely to offend
someone with your attitude. You know, there are masters everywhere. They're very likely to endanger
your life." Darren knew that the immortal already had some semblance of human emotion, but her heart
was still focused on one thing: survival.
Darren knew if it came to a point that she needed to save herself, she would do so in a heartbeat.
As expected, the immortal only gave him a curt nod. Now that she had returned to the Primitive This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Wilderness, it was time for her to cultivate more, so she agreed.
"Oh, Darren. That was so dangerous just now. She didn't even bother to help you! Humph!" Elsa was
so worried that she was about to cry. She harbored deep resentment towards the immortal for her
unwillingness to help Darren when he was in trouble.
"With her current strength, she wouldn't be able to help me anyways. Come on, let's go meet Olivia,"
Darren said.
"Okay." Elsa nodded her head. "Is it true that you are going to be a disciple of this sect and you will
cultivate for a long time?"
"It depends. Right now, we need to find a place to live. It won't be easy for us to live in the Primitive
Wilderness. I'm worried that I won't be able to protect you when we encounter a strong warrior. The
Cloud Forest Sect is our best bet in keeping ourselves safe," Darren explained.
"I see. I'll listen to you." Elsa nodded, obediently.
Before he flew to the top of the mountain, Darren released god's power to heal Larkin's wounds.
"Elder Hassan, please help me to take care of him," Darren said as he saluted to Elder Hassan.
"I will. Don't you worry," Elder Hassan replied. Then, he released a force to take Larkin up to the room.
"Thank you." With that, Darren and Elsa flew to the top of the mountain.
When they landed, they saw that the ground was covered with dead branches and fallen leaves.
There was a cliff ahead, and it was about ten thousand feet high. Countless caves were positioned on
the cliff and they looked like they were molded into the structure.
"Miss Olivia, I'd like to express my gratitude for your help just now." Darren felt awkward with the
silence, so he spoke out.
"Then, show me your sincerity," Olivia said coldly.
"Oh?" Darren smiled blandly. "Please enlighten me."
"It's very simple. I need you to be my daredevil," Olivia said.
"What?" Elsa exclaimed in surprise. "What do you mean? If you want us to be your slaves, it is not
going to happen!"
"She's right," Darren added staunchly.
Olivia glanced at Elsa coldly and gave her a withering look. Then, she turned back to Darren. "Darren,
a daredevil is not a slave. However, if I ask you to do something, you must complete the task at all
costs—even if it means losing your own life."
"What? I refuse!" Darren exclaimed without hesitation. If he accepted Olivia's request, he would lose
his right to his life.
"Ah, ah. Don't be so quick to turn me down," Olivia said, tutting. "Being my daredevil doesn't mean that
you will have to die for me. If you accept my offer, you will get a lot of benefits. I can let you enter the
caves in the cliff to cultivate."
"Hm. Enter a cliff in exchange for my life... Nope, I don't think I need it." Darren refused.
"You have no idea just how many people are fighting fiercely but have not had the chance to go into the
caves. When you cultivate inside any of the caves, your cultivation speed will be at least ten times
faster than when you are outside the cave. Do you hear me? It's at least ten times faster. If you have
the ability to enter the higher caves, it will be possible for you to improve your cultivation speed by
dozens of times."
Olivia felt confident after saying this. She believed that such a condition was enough to attract every
genius and make them accept her offer. It had always worked for her before.
"No. I refuse." Darren still rejected her offer.
Darren thought it was stupid to trade ownership of his life just to cultivate faster.
"You!"
Olivia's face turned pink. She had gotten angry over Darren's blatant refusal.
"Do you know what the consequences of your refusal will be?" Olivia said, her tone dark and ominous.
"I don't care what the consequence will be. I don't want to accept your offer. If you want to kill me, you
should hurry up and do it," Darren replied coldly.
"Ah, I see. You're tough. You're a man of principles." Olivia suddenly smirked. "However, I despise men
who do not know how to yield. You are one of those, and you must die."
Suddenly, a red silk ribbon shot out from Olivia's waist and attacked Darren.
'What?'
Darren could feel that her strength had reached the Domain God Realm!
Darren's current level was too low. Once he came across a domain god, he didn't have the ability to
fight back.
"Dragon ancestor, please kill her. I'll try to run away."
Darren had no choice but to ask the dragon ancestor for help. His life was in danger this time.
"Don't worry. Someone is coming. He is very, very strong," the dragon ancestor replied slowly. Darren
could sense a hint of fear in his voice.
The red silk ribbon flew towards Darren and came to a halt in front of his chest.
Suddenly, a young man with white hair appeared from nowhere.
"Olivia, you are going too far." The man said this in such a calm tone that it sent chills down their backs.
Olivia pursed her lips and stared at him with hostility.
"This is none of your business!" She was not afraid of the strong, young white-haired man at all.
"I want him to be my disciple, so you can't kill him. Do you understand what I'm saying?" the young
man asked, cocking an eyebrow.
"Why? Why can't I kill him if you want him to be your disciple? Who do you think you are?" Olivia gritted
her teeth and her voice dripped with resentment.
"I am the sect leader and your father. Aren't those enough reasons?" the young man said coldly.
'Father?' Darren was surprised.
"No! I don't have a father!" Olivia was angry.
The young man looked at her coldly, but did not speak any more. Instead, he released an irresistible
force which scooped Olivia up and sent her down the mountain.
"You! Let go of me!"
Olivia struggled, but could not break free from the force. She gradually disappeared in the mist.
"Are you from one of the mortal worlds?"
The man looked at Darren. His cold gaze seemed to pierce through Darren's soul.
