Daniel doubted it. "Are you going to abandon your father and Camila? Are you just going to stand by
and watch them go to prison?"
Madelyn didn't want to say too much to him.
She just said, "I won't go to your villa anymore. I'll mail the key to you."
Daniel's heart skipped a beat.
What made Madelyn change her mind all of a sudden? He wanted to ask a question, but Madelyn had
already hung up.
Daniel dialed his secretary's number with a gloomy face. "I need you to check what's going on with
Samuel these days."
The secretary looked into it at once and then called back five minutes later, his voice trembling, "Mr.
Campbell, Samuel has changed his lawyer! I'll keep looking here."
"No need!" Daniel hung up.
He wanted to make a personal visit to the detention house. He wanted to see who would have the guts
to take on the case without his permission, and what would change.
Daniel quickly opened the car door and drove to the detention house. The wound on his waist had not
healed, and the gauze was red with blood, but he did not care.
Twenty minutes later, Daniel's car was parked at the detention house. When he got out of the car, he
saw a graceful and dashing figure walk out with people crowded around him.
It was Benjamin.
He was handsome, upright, and noble in an expensive suit.
Now he was walking down the stairs. Several officials walked along with him and talked to him politely.
Paisley was also present, laughing. "We will see ourselves out, please! Thanks for helping us with this
issue."
Those few guys acted nice.
They ought to do Benjamin a favor for the sake of the Clark family!

goodbye... When Benjamin left, those guys looked at each other and smiled. One of them said, "This is
the first time I've seen the undefeatable butcher of the legal profession, and he looks so fucking
awesome!"
The others thought the same thing.
He was handsome, rich, and in a privileged position. Who didn't envy him?
...
Daniel watched all of this and clenched his fist.
It was Benjamin who took this case!
He specially picked a time to come on to her when Benjamin was not in Gredax, but he did not expect
Benjamin to come back untimely. Obviously, Benjamin was not that crazy about Madelyn, but just had
fun by messing with her!
Daniel was not reconciled to this.
He watched as the specially privileged man walked toward him.
Unexpectedly, Benjamin looked like nothing had happened, patted Daniel's shoulder, and smiled faintly,
"Eloise said you got hurt and was gonna check on you! Now I'm relieved to see that you're fine... By the
way, come home for lunch."
Daniel nodded expressionlessly.
Benjamin gave a little chortle, lowered his head, and lit a cigarette. He took a few puffs of his cigarette
slowly before walking toward the car.
The two men brushed past each other.
Daniel felt a strong sense of oppression in front of the compelling Benjamin! From beginning to end,
Daniel did not ask Madelyn anything.
He didn't need to ask. Madelyn was with Benjamin.
When Benjamin's car drove away, Daniel took out his cell phone automatically and dialed Madelyn's
number again.
He gritted his teeth. "Madelyn, you are a real piece of work!"
On the other side, Madelyn said calmly, "Daniel... I am just giving you a taste of your own medicine.
What's wrong with that?"
"No! There's nothing wrong with you!" Daniel sneered, "Honey, just don't regret it!"
Madelyn hung up straight away.
At this time, the phone rang twice more. She turned her phone on and saw a message from Benjamin.
The message said, "Your father was transferred to YouHeal Hospital. You can go to visit him with your
mom. He will be able to go home once he is healed."
Madelyn read this message a few times.
She read this text message for so long that her own eyes became misty with tears.
Only then did she feel... a sense of the real in her life ... She felt alive.
