Chapter 11 The Hatred is Growing

Chapter 11 The Hatred is Growing

The next day morning, Adelaide heard Clarissa making a loud noise vaguely outside.

Adelaide had witnessed Clarissa’s movie-king like acting skills. She turned over and was about to

continue sleeping.

“Antonio, I feel bad. I couldn’t even stand firm!”

Adelaide jumped up reflexively. She knew that Clarissa was saying this to have her “donate blood”.

Adelaide didn’t even put on her shoes. She rushed out of her bed and was about to lock the door.

Unexpectedly, Antonio turned the doorknob at the same time. The moment he opened the door, he saw

Adelaide stood at the door in panic. She didn’t put on her shoes and her hands held the doorknob.

He expression froze abruptly. He asked though he already knew the answer, “What are you doing!”

Adelaide’s body trembled. She spoke as she shivered, “Antonio, Antonio. Please don’t make me

donate my blood. I beg you.”

She could only plead with him.

Hearing that, Antonio’s expression darkened, “Since you heard it, then come out right now.” Antonio

grabbed her wrist. The latter, as expected, kept retreating.

He frowned and his look was as cold as ice, “That’s your sister. How can you be so indifferent!”

Adelaide was going to explain, but another noise came from the inside. However, the person who

spoke changed.

Damla had a feeling for the baby in Clarissa’s belly, which was considered to be the legitimate baby of

Antonio. Along with the money she received yesterday, Damla now completely changed her side to

help Clarissa, “Master, please come! Ms. Clarissa passed out.”

“Go!”

Damla’s words tugged the last string of Antonio’s heart. He no longer wasted time on Adelaide and

stepped behind the door, taking away Adelaide’s hand from the doorknob. Regardless of whether she

agreed or not, he dragged her all the way to Clarissa’s room.

At this moment, the family doctors and the nurses were already waiting next to Clarissa’s bed. The new

nurse walked fast to Adelaide. Seeing the latter was not willing to donate blood, she comforted, “Hi, an

adult can donate 200-400ml of blood each time. We will only take 200ml, which will not have any affect

on you.”

“No! Antonio, don’t. I am also carrying your baby!”

Adelaide didn’t give up pleading.

Antonio didn’t even hesitate. His hand on her applied even more forces. A word came out of his mouth

coldly, “Now!”

The needle in the nurse’s hand just penetrated through Adelaide’s skin and some blood oozed out. Her

eyes widened and after a moment, she fell down straightly.

When she woke up again, she found herself already back into the room. She didn’t know whether

200ml of blood was taken from her. She raised her arm and saw the white bandage. She recalled

carefully, but she found her memory lost after seeing the blood.

She swallowed the saliva and the dry taste spread in her mouth. It wasn’t until now that she realized

that she didn’t brush her teeth or wash her face.

It was lucky that she didn’t feel very weak. Adelaide got off her bed with her teeth gritted. She went into

the bathroom to tidy herself. If not the white bandage on her arm, perhaps she would think that she just

had a nightmare.

She wanted to drink some water, but there was no drinking water upstairs. She could only go

downstairs for water with her cup in hands.

Antonio and Clarissa were eating. Clarissa saw Adelaide with her sharp eyes. The former immediately

pretended to collapse into Antonio’s arms weakly, “Antonio, I am still dizzy!”

Since Antonio didn’t take Adelaide’s blood, he felt guilty towards Clarissa. He asked Damla to buy

anything that could replenish blood for a pregnant woman.

As he heard that Clarissa was dizzy, he asked nervously, “How are you feeling? Do I need to call the

doctors back?”

What could the doctors do?

She couldn’t do anything even though she held intense hatred in her heart.

“No need. It’s too troublesome. It’s all my fault. My body is so weak. I’d better eat more supplement.”

Her sensible words made Antonio quite happy. He especially picked some food that could replenish

blood for her to eat.

“Bang!” The glass cup in Adelaide’s hand fell on the ground.

Seeing Antonio pick food for Clarissa, Adelaide had already felt extremely tortured. Today, she saw

Clarissa leaning in his arms again, and he picked food for her to eat. The two’s faces were occupied

with happy smiles.

She had never felt herself to be so redundant!

Adelaide looked at them blankly.

Meanwhile, they were looking at her as well.

Clarissa got up from Antonio’s arms and she said in a soft voice, “Adelaide, you’re awake. It’s all my

fault. My body becomes so bad after being pregnant. I am so sorry to make you pass out too. Come

and eat with us.”

Adelaide’s face went pale. Her throat felt like being filled with lead. She couldn’t make any sound no

matter how she tried. She tried her best to hold her tears and shook her head!

Antonio snorted, “What makes a trash qualified to eat!”

Trash?

Didn’t he already make her donate blood to Clarissa?

Adelaide didn’t want to argue with him anymore. She knelt down to pick up the glasses on the floor.

“Ah!”

Adelaide was thinking about Antonio and her hands were picking up the broken glasses. No wonder

her hand was stabbed by the glasses. She took a cold breath as a long and deep wound was cut open

at her index finger.

She hurriedly put her finger into the mouth. Antonio clearly saw the wound on her hand, he yelled

agitatedly, “Damla, Damla. What’ going on with you? Didn’t you see Adelaide’s glass dropped on the

ground? Didn’t you know how to clean that up? Are you blind?”

Antonio’s angry rebuke made Damla bent down to clean carefully, but she hated Adelaide even more.

It was rare for Antonio to be so mad at her normally, but this time was because Adelaide who

embarrassed her. Damla had cursed Adelaide’s ancestors for many times. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

Clarissa walked to them at the appropriate time. She first held Adelaide up and said to Damla with a

smile, “Damla, Adelaide broke the cup carelessly. Sorry to trouble you. Please clean the floor

thoroughly so that nobody will step on the glasses.”

Her words showed her status as a real hostess in the house and also helped not to embarrass Damla.

Damla, the lady from a village, now liked Clarissa even more and she hoped Clarissa to become

Antonio’s wife.

“I am sorry. I don’t feel well. I am going back.”

Adelaide got rid of Clarissa’s hand and scurried back to her room.

“Come back to eat. Leave her alone!”

After Adelaide’s interlude, Antonio had lost his interest in caring Clarissa. What occupied his mind now

was Adelaide’s cut hand and the cup that was broken by her.

She must be thirsty and come downstairs for water? Antonio thought disorderly. His brain was like

being tangled with a ball of string, which was entirely chaotic.

Clarissa looked at Antonio who kept frowning. She knew that Antonio must be thing that bitch. Just

now, the needle had already stabbed into Adelaide’s vein, but Antonio still carried her back to the room

when she passed out and didn’t make her donate blood anymore.

Clarissa’s grabbed her leg furiously. She said in her heart: Adelaide, I hate you!
