Chapter 14 Make a Little Progress

Chapter 14 Make a Little Progress

Adelaide felt her heartbeat seemed to stop. Looking at Antonio with big eyes in disbelief, she obviously

didn't expect him to wake up so timely. Antonio turned over and pressed against her. Looking at her

with his deep eyes for a while, Antonio lowered his head and kissed her. “He kissed me?” This thought

flashed in her mind, her eyes were as big as copper bells because she couldn't believe it.

“Stupid woman, I said it many times, close your eyes when I kiss you.”

“Oh!” After hearing his word, she closed eyes idly accordingly. Soon she felt humid and hot. His lips

was tender as imagined. With his tongue opened her teeth, the two people quickly got entangled.

Adelaide let out a groan uncontrollably, then her face blushed as being roasted. After a lingering deep

kiss, Antonio's teeth gently bit on her lower lip, and slowly applied force until the person felt pain and

screamed, her eyes seemed to shed tears.

She didn't understand what he meant. It was fine just now. What's wrong? But it was so late, so she

didn’t want to call grandma again. She looked at Antonio aggrievedly, which satisfied Antonio very

much. He let her lips go and whispered quietly, "This is a punishment for you being restless. Be careful

that I will...you." Antonio omitted that word, but Adelaide immediately understood what he meant. While

her little face was flushed, she nodded hard, indicating that she did not dare to.

After getting Adelaide’s answer, Antonio really didn’t continue bullying her. Adelaide patted her chest,

after ensuring that Antonio was not really angry and would not wake up suddenly, she also gradually

fell asleep.

Next morning, Damla didn’t dare to play tricks because of Hermosa. She placed a cup of hot milk

before Adelaide’s breakfast. As seeing Adelaide walked downstairs, she said respectfully, “Mrs. Baron,

breakfast is ready.” Adelaide hadn’t adapted to her sudden change. After everyone arrived, Hermosa

being kissed by Antonio. Fully noticed the series of her reactions, Hermosa was filled with joy thinking

his grandchildren finally understood. “Adelaide, Antonio is too thin, give him more food!”

Adelaide would put food for Antonio long ago. Gradually she forgot the habit when their relationship got

bad and Antonio even would feel uncomfortable even sitting with her. After hearing Hermosa’s word,

she immediately kept putting food into Antonio’s bowl like a kid who did something wrong. Soon the

bowl was full. Antonio couldn’t eat that much so he pushed his bowl aside and helped himself.

His behavior upset Hermosa, “What’s wrong? Adelaide put food into your bowl because she cares for

you. Eat up!”

“No!” Antonio rarely lost his temper like this.

“Grandma, it’s fine, fine, he doesn’t need to eat up.” Adelaide was afraid that grandma got more angry

with him.

“Eat!” Hermosa’s angry look even scared Antonio, he glared at Adelaide and moved the bowl back

reluctantly. A bite of vegetables! A bite of spinach! A bite of carrots! There is also a large piece of

cauliflower.

One can not imagine that even a person like Antonio would be fussy about food. Usually he would ask

Damla to cook his favorite food, but today grandma and Damla got up early and bought some fresh

vegetables in order to change his fussy habit.

Of course Adelaide knew that he didn’t like the food she put, but how could she miss the chance to

embarrass Antonio? Adelaide couldn’t help laughing when putting the food he disliked into his bowl,

especially when he pushed them aside but Hermosa required him to eat up. Although she tried hard

not to laugh, Adelaide’s shoulders shook. In order not to let Antonio know her tricks, she pretended to

be serious when putting food into his bowl. This time, she put his favorite food into his bowl and said in

a trembling voice, “Antonio, help yourself.”

“Hum!” Antonio thought she wasn’t that bad. He put the piece of meat she gave into his mouth and ate

it loudly. Obviously he regarded the meat as Adelaide.

“Grandma, you seem to lose weight, eat more.” She knew Hermosa had hyperlipidemia and Hermosa

always couldn’t lower it. The shredded pork with mushrooms on the table was also placed in front of

the elderly, but keeping eating vegetables and avoiding eating meat made her almost like a rabbit.

Adelaide put a piece of meat into the water to have a rinse and said embarrassedly, “Grandma, doctor

asked you to eat less meat as you have hyperlipidemia. Less doesn’t mean absolutely not. Giving a

rinse will make the meat contain less oil. I think eating a piece of meat is not a big problem.”

Hermosa was also greedy. She nodded with a smile after hearing Adelaide’s word, “Yes, you are so

considerate.”

“Hum, hypocritical.” Antonio was also glad that Adelaide treated Hermosa well but he didn’t want to

reveal. Instead, he deliberately mocked Adelaide whatever she did. To embarrass her made him happy

but he didn’t know why.

After hearing this word, Adelaide wasn’t angry and even said with a smile, “Yes, my fault. I forget to put

food into your bowl. I remember your favorite food is fat, come on, eat some.” She picked up a piece of

oily fat from the dishes.

Antonio almost wanted to curse out, he didn’t like fat at all. He thought she must be deliberate. He

glared at her but unexpectedly she ignored it and asked instead, “Is it not enough?”

“No, it’s enough.” Antonio gritted his teeth and said three words. Looking at the fat in his bowl, he

thought it’s like the most difficult clients. He put the fat into his mouth slowly with a grim face and

swallowed it at once without chewing. Then he drank lots of water.

After breakfast, they returned the bedroom and Antonio locked the door and said with a blink, “Good

job, Adelaide.”

Adelaide laughed embarrassedly, “Grandma asked me to put food for you, anything wrong?”

“Like playing tricks? I will keep you company.” Antonio laughed coldly and also added, “Let’s see how

long grandma will protect you.”

Adelaide thought that Antonio would settle scores with her, but unexpectedly he simply put out a few

ruthless words. Could it be that the sun came out from the west? Not having allowed Adelaide to think

over carefully, Antonio had turned around already which indicated that he was going out.
