Chapter 1869
Chapter 1869
Abby had a very private studio.
This studio had nothing special for outsiders, but it was not open to the public. Inside were about 20 designers, male and female, hired at a high price by Abby.
All these people worked for Abby alone.
Abby told them to stay up and work without stopping, but Silvia felt that it was a little too much. She didn't treat them as human beings!
Thus, she opened her mouth, trying to say something to help them. At this moment, Abby raised her hand, gracefully tidying her hair hanging down from her ears and saying, "I spent so much money to keep them. I don't want good- for-nothings. Do you understand?"
Spotting the sharp glint flashed in her eyes, Silvia didn't dare to say anything else.
When they came in, the room door was not closed, and a servant came in directly and interrupted their conversation. She said in a panic, "Miss Amery, Old Madam Amery asked you to have a meal downstairs..."
Abby was not angry but said with a smile, "Please remember to knock on the door next time you enter my room!" Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Every servant knew that Abby was the most amiable and kindest person in the Amery family.
The servant nodded quickly. "Yes, I'm sorry, Miss. I'll remember it next time!"
Abby smiled. "Thank you!"
The servant breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, it was Miss Amery. Otherwise, she would be criticized.
The servant nodded and hurried out.
Abby turned to Silvia and said lightly, "Well, remember what I told you. You go back first!"
Silvia looked down and nodded. "Yes..."
As the last trace of the setting sun dipped below the horizon, night fell.
After dinner, the servants shuttled back and forth in an orderly manner in the dining room to clean up.
Tina proposed to leave.
Isla didn't take a nap today. Kids were full of energy. Since she was here, she had been playing for an entire afternoon. Then not long after she had the big dinner and left the table, she was drowsy and fell asleep in Tina's arms.
She looked cute and healthy with her chubby radiant little face.
Old Madam Amery saw that Isla had fallen asleep and did not intend to stay downstairs anymore. When she heard that Tina was leaving, she ignored her, snorted, and arrogantly went upstairs.
Lin took the initiative to send Tina and Isla away.
Isla slept soundly, so Tina carried her in her arms.
When they walked out of the villa, they came across two servants standing at the yard's gate. The one with a serious look was the Amery family's housekeeper, while the other was neatly dressed, carrying a luggage bag as if he was going to leave.
After seeing her off, the old housekeeper turned around and walked back.
Seeing this, Lin asked in surprise, "What's wrong with her"
The housekeeper nodded and replied respectfully, "She seemed to have broken an antique vase that Old Grandma loved the most, so she angrily drove her away!"
Upon hearing this, Lin didn't say anything more. She nodded and said, "Pay her a month's salary more!"
"Yes, Madam!" The old housekeeper replied.
Lin didn't pay more attention to it and shifted her eyes to Tina aside. "Did you call Wilson? He hasn't arrived yet."
Tina said with a smile, "He's coming!"
As soon as she finished speaking, the black Mercedes appeared in their night.
Tina and Lin smiled at each other.
Walking out of the yard, Wilson opened the car's rear door. Tina put the still sleeping Isla on the soft leather seat, but she was not in a hurry to sit in it.
She turned around, took Lin's hand, and asked with some hesitation, "Could you do me a favor?"
Lin was stunned.
In winter, the cemetery with pine trees covered with snow looked bleak.
The wind in the suburbs was strong, but Tina and Wilson were well prepared for this. Both of them were wearing thick knee- length jackets to keep them warm.
One was in black, and one in white. They made a perfect couple.
Terry, who was waiting for them in the Rolls-Royce, pursed his lips secretly when he saw them showing off their love in the cemetery.
He was not envious at all, because he was about to fall in sweet love with Suan.
Thinking of her, he felt his clean and handsome face slightly burning.
Wilson accompanied Tina here to visit her mom's grave.
Perhaps it was because she had been spending too much time in the Amery family recently that Tina suddenly dreamed of her mom last night. She was standing with Bill, Lin, and Old Master Amery. And Ovia, her mom, was looking at them from a distance. When she looked back, she saw her mom smiling gently in silence.
So, after waking up in the morning, Tina wanted to come by and sweep her mother's grave.
Wilson couldn't miss the chance to see Tina's mom.
The cemetery was well taken care of. There was only some snow left on both sides of the path.
Tina half-squatted in front of Ovia's tombstone and whispered a few words to her, which made her feel much more relieved.
Wilson's cell phone rang.
It was an international business call. However, it seemed that the signal was weak here, and he couldn't hear clearly. He frowned slightly and said to Tina, "We have a bad connection. I'll pick up a call not far away ahead!"
"Okay!" Tina nodded.
Wilson walked to the fork, where there was a phone tower.
Tina stayed with her mother for some time. When her legs were a little numb, she reluctantly stood up.
Wilson was still standing there answering the phone. It seemed that he had to deal with some tricky problems.
Tina went over, intending to wait for him by his side.
The tombs in this cemetery were arranged in two vertical rows. Ovia's tomb was close to the end of the inside row. When she walked along to the middle, Tina saw a familiar figure walking among the tombs in the outside row.
She couldn't help casting a few more looks at the man.
Then, she remembered who he was.
Wilson had told her that he was Amin Stark, Mr.
Willard's grandson and the third child of Stark family.
Even if she could only see the side of his face, she could clearly feel the sad aura hanging over him.
It was evident that he was here to sweep the tomb. He bent one knee in front of a tomb with a lily flower beside him. There was a photo of a young and beautiful woman with delicate features on the tombstone.
Tina wanted to look away, but she couldn't help but pause because he seemed to be crying.
He was crying sadly like a small child, his back stiffly bent and his body shaking violently.
Tina was slightly stunned.
Men only weep when deeply grieved.
Tina rarely saw a man cry and shed bitter tears like this and was shocked to see such a forlorn scene. It looked to her that he really missed his girlfriend.
She sighed softly.
It didn't seem polite to watch him crying like this. Tina wanted to leave as if she hadn't seen it, but it was too late. When Amin lowered his head to take out his handkerchief, he caught a glimpse of her from the corner of his eye.
He noticed that Tina saw him crying and looked embarrassed. "Sorry, I failed to control my emotions!"
