Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1918

Chapter 1918

Tina sat up unsteadily.

She was caught off guard and shocked. At this time, her eyes were full of vigilance.

They have been getting along well since they got married.

She had been worried about living in the same house with Amin at the beginning, but he had always been a gentleman. The second floor was divided into two areas. He only stayed in his own area and never crossed into hers.

What had just happened frightened her.

She was very uneasy.

After listening to his explanation, she was stunned for a while and then relaxed.

She knew he had a deep affection for his dead girlfriend.

They grew up together. They had been together since high school and were going to get married after they graduated from college. However, his girlfriend passed away in an accident. He had been single ever since. He loved his girlfriend very much.

Tina had seen their picture in his wallet. In the picture, they were young and beautiful.

That was why she agreed to sign an agreement with him and marry him.

She breathed a sigh of relief.

When she calmed down, she smiled and shook her head. "It doesn't matter."

Amin's gaze landed on her neck.

As he remembered how soft her skin was, he subconsciously narrowed his eyes. He looked away and said, "Don't worry about me. I'll go upstairs myself."

Using the arm of the sofa as a prop, he dragged himself to his feet and went upstairs.

As he was drunk, he staggered upstairs with his hand on the wall.

After a while, he went in his room.

Tina picked up her glass.

She thought he was drunk and not aware of what he was doing.

He loved his dead girlfriend deeply, so it was understandable that he mistook her for his girlfriend.

When he apologized and explained, she forgave him and put the incident behind her.

She went to the kitchen to get another glass of warm water and then went upstairs to her room.

She closed the door and found that there were several missed calls on her phone.

When she was about to call back, Wilson invited her for a video chat.

...

She accepted it. As the video shook slightly, Wilson's handsome face appeared. He lounged on the sofa. Behind him was the floor-to-ceiling window in his bedroom.

He had just taken a bath, and his short hair was still wet.

She unconsciously held her breath because he wore no clothes, only a white bath towel wrapped around his waist.

...

She felt shy and blushed. "Why don't you put on your clothes?"

"I just took a bath," he said lazily. He glanced at her before he added, "Besides, you've seen me naked many times."

She was at a loss for words and couldn't refute it.

...

The camera was so close that his bare chest almost took up the entire screen.

At this time, he raised his hand to brush his bangs, and a drop of water trickled down his cheek to his Adam's Apple.

Even through the screen, she wanted to touch him.

She took a deep breath and coughed. "It's cold. You'd better put on your clothes."

He replied, "I turned on the air conditioner."

She had no choice but to lower her eyes, trying not to look at his abs.

However, she could still see them out of the corners of her eyes.

Apart from his muscular chest, she also saw his scars.

He didn't cover them because the last time in No.1 Luxurious Residence he had shown them to her to seek her sympathy.

Seeing the scars, she could not help thinking of the pain and suffering he had gone through alone in New City.

Her heart ached.

He went through untold hardships to get back to her.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she asked with concern, "I heard that thing is very harmful to one's health. How have you been feeling these days?"

He curled his lips and said jokingly, "Don't worry, I'm in good health. Would you like to try?"

She was tongue-tied, and her ears turned hot after she figured out what he meant.

...

He changed the subject. "What did you do just now? Why didn't you answer my calls?"

"I went downstairs to get some water," she replied and told him the whole thing. "Amin was drunk, so I talked to him for a while."

He keenly sensed something and narrowed his eyes. "He was drunk? Did he do something inappropriate?"

They lived under the same roof.

He trusted Tina. He knew that they had their own rooms, but he was still very unhappy when he thought that his girlfriend lived in the same house with another man.

She hesitated and said, "No..."

He asked, "Really?"

She pondered for a moment. She didn't dare to tell him that Amin had almost kissed her. She skipped this part and weighed her words as she replied, "No, he didn't. He was drunk and just mistook me for his dead girlfriend..."

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

He frowned and asked, "Does he know we're back together?"

She shook her head and answered blankly, "No, I haven't told him yet..."

In the eyes of others, she and Amin were husband and wife, so they lived together, but they agreed not to meddle in each other's personal affairs.

Therefore, she forgot to tell him about it.

Hearing her answer, Wilson frowned again and then smiled imperceptibly. "I see."

...

Then he changed the subject. After talking for a while, he said goodbye to her. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

She hung up and pursed her lips.

His smile made her scalp tingle.

However, she didn't think too much about it. She was sleepy and fell asleep quickly.

The next day.

After the meeting, Amin returned to his office.

He stood in front of the window and stared at the clouds in the sky, lost in thought.

He recalled what had happened last night.

He had a high tolerance for alcohol and seldom got drunk. The last time Desmond drank with him, he was sober the whole time.

Actually, he wasn't drunk last night.

However, when he saw Tina coming downstairs, he subconsciously pretended to be drunk. He didn't know why he did it. Maybe it was because he wanted her to care about him.
