Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1929

Chapter 1929

At dusk, the sun went down. Tina and Wilson sat in the car with sun-dappled windows.

Amin, sitting next to her, was talking to someone on the phone. Because he was in the car, he deliberately lowered his voice. Like Wilson, he talked about business.

Tina looked at the scenery outside the window.

After work, she came out of the office building and got in the car driven over by Amin.

Tina would accompany him to a social event.

Before she hung up the phone with Wilson last night, he told her that if Amin asked her to attend a business meal tomorrow, she should agree.

Tina thought about it for two seconds and finally agreed.

Today, Roger Zabel, the president of a cooperative company, invited Amin to a meal. They had met before. Besides, Tina remembered that she seemed to have seen him at the wedding of Terry and Susan.

They would meet at the leisure club near the river bank.

When Tina and Amin entered the room, Roger was already waiting in the private box in a neat suit.

The box equipped with a white leather sofa and a grey carpet was very spacious. There was a marble round table on the side of the room. Through the large windows, they could see the broad flowing river.

Roger got up from the sofa and said, "Mr. and Mrs. Stark, please sit down!"

After that, he gave a hollow laugh, feeling really awkward.

Though Roger took the initiative to invite them, he was still in a daze. Late last night, when he was sleeping with his wife in his arms, he suddenly received a call from Wilson. He asked him to invite Mr. and Mrs. Stark to dinner tomorrow.

He anxiously rubbed his hands together. When he didn't know what to say, someone suddenly pushed open a door on the right.

There was a secret door on the background wall! The design was very ingenious.

Wilson came out of the secret door.

He wore a black shirt and a pair of long pants. With a pair of silver-rimmed glasses, he looked gentle and cultivated, his behind the glasses deep and piercing.

Roger was shocked, and his eyes were wide open.

Wilson only told him to invite them to a meal but didn't say that he would come here himself...

He finally realized that he was fooled by Wilson's cunning tricks, again!

Tina was also stunned for a moment. Then she seemed to have figured out what had happened.

She found it both funny and annoying.

Amin was also struck dumb.

At this time, Roger also understood the purpose of this gathering.

It turned out that Wilson was here to meet Mr. and Mrs. Stark, through him, the innocent middleman.

Anyone would think that Amin and Tina were here as a couple. No one would find anything strange.

Roger stuttered nervously, "President, President Chin..." The look in his eyes was full of pity. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

He wanted to ask why he would do that to him.

Wilson curled his lips, patted him on the shoulder, and said with a smile, "Please help me entertain Mr. Stark!"

"..." Roger braced himself and bore it.

After that, Wilson took Tina away from the sofa.

Then, they left the box from the secret door that he had just come out of.

Roger and Amin were astonished and had nothing to say.

Roger was at a loss what to do.

He quietly observed the expression on Amin's face. Fortunately, he just frowned slightly and had no intention of stopping them. Finally, Roger pressed his hand on his throbbing temples to calm down.

Roger had no way to purge himself of suspicion. In the eyes of Mr. Stark, he helped Wilson take Mrs. Stark away. Besides, this was not the first time he did this.

Roger squeezed out a dry smile and said, "Mr. Stark, how about having some tea..."

What a miserable man! He still had to try his best to smile.

On the other side, Tina and Wilson walked out of the secret door, passed through a box decorated in the same style, and then came to another one.

As soon as the door was closed, Wilson reached out and held her hands.

He had deliberately done something intimate with Tina right before Amin to tell him she was his. But today, he kindly considered Amin's feelings and did not show their intimacy in front of him.

Wilson pulled her to sit down, and Tina smiled helplessly and complained, "Wilson, you're messing around again!"

Actually, she was very happy to see Wilson. After all, today was a special day.

Wilson's eyes lit up. "You can stay with him. I understand that. But today is your birthday. I have to spend the day with you!"

Tina smiled sweetly at him and said in a sweet voice. "Oh, you remember that. I thought you had forgotten."

"How could I forget it?" Wilson said with a smile. He stood up and said, "Sit here and wait. I've prepared birthday noodles for you. We'll start eating after we're done cooking it!"

In the past, Tina always cooked for him, so Wilson also wanted to make something for her.

Opposite the sofa was a marble dining table full of dishes and covered with oval silver lids.

There was a glass bottle with champagne roses in the middle, which was very romantic.

Hearing Wilson's words, Tina noticed a long table placed by the French window, and a temporary kitchen was built there. The materials for birthday noodles were all ready.

Tina was surprised. "You want to do it yourself! Really?"

As far as she knew, Wilson had never cooked in the kitchen.

At most, he could wash several bowls.

Wilson thought for a while and said, "I've learned how to do it in advance. You can try the noodles later!"

Tina bit her lip gently.

Although he said it very lightly, she knew that Wilson was very busy after returning from abroad. Still, he secretly spared some time to learn how to make birthday noodles.

Tina was deeply touched.

She felt like throwing herself into his arms.

Wilson rolled up his shirt and walked to the long table.

He did every step himself: bending the flour with water, kneading the doughs, and then cutting them into thin strips.

Although he wasn't very skillful at it, he did it attentively.

Tina sat on the sofa and looked at Wilson, who was cooking with his back to the rolling river outside of the window.

He was tall and straight, rolling the sleeves of his shirt to his elbows. His slender hands with bony knuckles appeared a little clumsy when dealing with the noodles. Nevertheless, his handsome face was pleasing to the eye.

Her eyes were glued to him, and a wave of happiness flooded her.

Wilson, the chef, cooked the noodles with the chicken soup and added an egg and vegetables. Then he brought the bowl of steaming birthday noodles to Tina.

Under his intense gaze, Tina picked up some to taste.

The noodles cut into different thicknesses were all thoroughly cooked, which were tough and chewy. Wilson had put a lot of effort into kneading the doughs.

Wilson, leaning on one arm of her chair, asked, "Is it delicious?"

Tina nodded. "Yes! It's the best birthday noodles I've ever eaten!"

She ate the noodles seriously and slowly.

It seemed that she cherished it very much and only wanted to taste it little by little.

The other dishes on the table were all cooked by the Michelin chefs, but Tina felt that they were no match for this bowl of birthday noodles.

Wilson's eyes were full of warmth. "Happy birthday, Tina!"

Tina put down her chopsticks.

She could no longer stay reserved and threw herself into his arms.
