Ming Yue's Contemplation
Ming Yue's Contemplation
Inside the car, Ming Yue sat alone at the back seat. Her face stared at scenery outside, drowning in her
own thought. She already ordered the four beasts, Silver Moon and Ling Mao to return ahead of her to
Heavenly Space. She wanted some time alone for herself..
Closing her eyes, Ming Yue started recalling things, started from the first time she arrived at Tianshang
De Kongjian. At the time, the four beasts were happy, No.. TOO happy to see her. Ming Yue thought it
was because they had a new master after a long time but at that time, she was summoned to Heavenly
Space. They had the expression saying that they KNEW her. Now that Ming Yue thought about it, there
was subtle hints here and there. The tension expression they showed when Silver Moon was confused
between the term 'Original Master' and 'Current Master', Xuan Wu who said that the mortals should
worship her instead, Silver Moon who recognized her with the word, 'This soul..', it started falling into
place.
Ming Yue snorted in mockery, thinking how foolish she was for trusting that she was accepted because
of who she was. It turned out, what they saw was her soul or the person who was NOT her.
Exhaling a heavy breathing, a smile of irony faintly appeared on her face.
'Maybe.. in the end.. I am destined to be all alone..' Ming Yue mused.
Yang Lixin watched Ming Yue time to time from the rear mirror. He saw the changes on her expression
and thinking that whatever it was plaguing her mind right now was not a good thing. She looked
desolate as if she only had no one else in this world.
"Young Miss.." Yang Lixin braved himself to call Ming Yue out, "I think it's not good to think too much."
Ming Yue didn't give any reaction, she just stared at the window, watching the scenery passing by
slowly. Yang Lixin who saw Ming Yue didn't give any reaction, could only heave a soft sigh.
"What will you do, if the people you trust lied to you?" Ming Yue asked after a short uncomfortable
silence between the two happened.
"Of course I confront the person first then decide after listening to the other story." Yang Lixin answered
firmly. "I will be angry of course, but anger can come later after I listen. Whether to forgive or not, that
decision can come after."
"As expected of someone older, they have more life experience." Ming Yue said, a faint cold smile was
on her face but deep down, she felt quite ashamed for seeking another person's opinion despite her
soul being older than 15 years old. She was 25 years old, for heaven sake!
"I am not a wise person, young miss. I just don't want to regret. Regrets only come after everything is
too late after all." Yang Lixin retorted as misery flashed on his face before he returned to his
professional calm expression.
Regret..
In the past life, Ming Yue regretted a lot...

sorry for her and accepted her again. However.. she only got scorns and insults..
Ming Yue felt at that time all of her hope had vanished, leaving only wounds of the heart.
She tried to look for her father but it was futile action, he was nowhere could be found. It as if the man
vanished without trace. Not even a death certificate could be found! Ming Yue was wondering whether
the man's name was real or not. If not, then it would make sense that Ming Yue couldn't find him.
Ming Yue also regretted meeting her twin sister Ying Yue, because toward that sister Ming Yue felt like
she was a very small existence compared to her. As if Ming Yue didn't worth anything.
A woman who was so gentle, kind and bright..
A woman whom her mother chose to raise..
A woman whom Long Zhi Qiang loved so dearly..
In the past, Ming Yue always thought that she should be the one who had the name Ying Yue and her
twin sister should have Ming Yue as name instead. Because Ying Yue was like a bright moon and Ming
Yue was like a reflection of that moon.
She regretted having the fate to meet with Long Zhi Qiang as well. If Ming Yue didn't meet him, she
wouldn't have to suffer years of heartaches. She would probably meet someone who could love her for
who she was. She wouldn't have so much distrust toward the word 'Love' and thinking that it was better
to live without the so called 'Love' from a man. She wouldn't have to make her heart frozen because
she didn't want to get hurt because of Love from opposite sex.
Yes.. So much regrets..
Ming Yue didn't want to regret anymore..
The car arrived at Wu Mansion. Ming Yue got off the car after it was opened by Yang Lixin, she walked
toward the front double door but her steps stopped halfway. Turning around, Ming Yue called out to her
driver.
"Mr. Yang."
Yang Lixin who wanted to return to driver seat but stopped when he heard Ming Yue called out to him.
Staring at the beautiful girl, he answered. "Yes, young miss?"
"Thank you." Ming Yue said, "For the advice." There was no smile on her cold looking face but
gratitude could be heard in her tone.
"It's my pleasure to help you, Young Miss." Yang Lixin replied, a cool smile appeared on his face. He
watched the beautiful girl nodded once and entering the front door before he entered the car and
parked it at the side of the mansion.
Ming Yue entered the mansion and as she walked toward her room, the maids and head butler greeted
her politely. She nodded and gave them a polite smile as answer. Along the way, she only paused for a
short while to ask where was her mother and grandfather. It turned out, Fan Mei and Grandpa Wu were
out.
Arriving in her own room, Ming Yue locked it before closing her eyes and returning to Heavenly Space.
As she opened her eyes, the Moon Palace was in front of her eyes, along with the four beasts and Ling
Mao in their human forms. Ming Yue stared at them for a while, before opening her mouth to speak in
cold tone that sent shivers to Ling Mao and tension to the three beasts while only one remained calm.
"...We need to talk."
