Chapter 158 The Swan Family Belongs To Eileen
At nine o clock. Eileen returned to her room, ready to take a shower and sleep.
Suddenly, her phone, charging on the bedside table, started to ring.
Drying her hair and dressed in a Blake flutty pajama, Eileen walked over to pick up her
phone After a quick glance, her eyes quickly turned indifferent. Frowning, she put down her phone, pretending not to see it.
The caller persisted, calling again and agam.
The fifth call automatically ended.
Ding!
A message arrived on the phone.
Eileen opened it and her heart skipped a beat.
A wave of coldness swept over her, and her hands trembled.
The messages were vulgar and indecent.
Full of resentment, Eileen gritted her teeth. When he called again, she hesitated before answering.
“What do you want exactly?”
A deep, magnetic voice came from the phone, “What are you doing?”
“After sending me those pictures, this is what you want to know? Eric, are you too bored?” li was quiet on his end, so he was probably in the study at this hour.
“I miss you…” His voice was slightly hoarse, filled with a hint of lingering affection.
Eileen’s heart skipped a beat. He had never spoken to her like this before.
“I miss the intimacy we shared…”
I knew it! A leopard cannot change its spots!
“Enough!” Eileen said firmly. “I am with Jasper now. If you don’t want him to hear these words, then shut up!”
“With him? What are you doing?” he questioned.
aleen deliberately said. “What else can he do besides tutoring me? He’s not you. He wouldn’t treat me so poorly He’s about to come out, so I have to hang up now.”
After she finished speaking, she immediately ended the call and deleted the photos he had sent. She then decided to switch off her phone.
Back at Euphoria Condominium, someone knocked on the door of Eric’s study,
Eric closed his camera. “Come in.”
“Eric, Sharon’s injuries haven’t healed. I made soine supper for you.” She walked in, holding a workbook. “By the way, there are some questions I can’t figure out. Can you teach me?”
“Where?”
“I’ve calculated it several times, and I can’t figure out how much it should be.”
Vera pulled a chair from the side, sat on his left side, and leaned in.
As Eric looked at the problem, he felt something soft touching his arm. He glanced sideways out of the corner of his eye and noticed Vera wearing a low-cut nightgown in yellow. She wasn’t wearing anything underneath, revealing the fair skin below her collarbone. His gaze didn’t linger for long.
Despite being accustomed to writing with his left hand, Eric switched to his right hand, putting the workbook in front of her. He even moved the chair a certain distance backward.
On the blank side, Eric was explaining the problem to her while simultaneously solving it.
“So, the range is -1.”
Vera, seeming to understand, nodded. “Oh, I see. Eric, you’re really amazing. This won’t taste good when it cools down.”
Vera went over the problem again and then turned to the next page. It seemed like she intended to stay in the study for a while.
Eric didn’t touch the supper on the table but instead opened an unprocessed document. “This is all knowledge from the second semester of the sophomore year. Such problems. shouldn’t be an issue for you. You’re already in the Olympiad Math Class. If you can’t solve these problems, even if you’re in the Olympiad Math Class, you won’t stay for long. If you’re still finding some aspects of your studies challenging, would you like me to hire a tutor for you?”
Vera’s heart sank. “Eric, do you also think I can’t compare to Eileen? I’m not as pretty as her, and my background and grades are not as good as hers?”

Cartes votre les amnester. “I never thought that gay Vera, when did you start looking down
Vera said, “It’s the truth. In front of her. I alway feel inferior No matter where I go, to school, everyone who sees me only knows that was adopted by the Swan family. It was thanks to Eileen that I got friends”
In reached out and stroked her long hair “You are different from Eileen. You don’t need to
compare yourself to her. To me, you’re the best. It’s getting late. Don’t think too much. Go back and rest”
Vera asked. “What about you. Enc?”
“You go to bed first. I still have some documents to review.”
Vera said. “Eric, you haven’t rested for several days now. Why are you working so hard on the matters of the Swan family? The Swan family will end up in Eileen’s hands anyway!”
Eric’s expression suddenly became dark. He barked sternly, “Who taught you to say. those things?”
Vera was taken aback. “I’m sorry, Eric. I was just worried about you. I don’t want to see you so
tired.”
“That’s enough! Don’t say these things in the future. Go back and rest!”
“O-Okay.”
Vera hurriedly left the study and closed the door. Fear still lingered within her.
The Swan family? They are insignificant.
Will returned with Elsie a day before New Year’s Eve.
Eileen learned this from Richard.
Tomorrow would be the day before New Year’s Eve.
Naturally, Eileen was going home.
“Richard, this is too much. I don’t need more.”
Richard explained, “Mr. Jasper ordered us to prepare New Year gifts for you. Tomorrow, he will be going on a business trip to Seatown for a week, and he will only be able to return on New Year’s Eve. This also represents the Smith family’s sincerity. Ms. Eileen, just accept
them.”
Eleen had no idea that Jasper had prepared all this
The gifts took up space in there whole cars. Anyone who didnt know better would think she was returning to her parents home after marriage.
Eileen silently recorded this debt in her heart. Once agam, she owed him.
Richard gave her a ride back to the Swan residence Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.
Outside the mansion. Will approached with a forced smile, holding a strand of beads in his hand “Mr. Zimmer, Eric has informed me about Eileen’s situation. I want to express my gratitude for your care towards her during these past few days. When I have the opportunity, I will personally thank Mr. Smith.”
Richard was not pleased with Will’s demeanor and had heard about his usual behavior. He couldn’t help but feel sorry for Eileen, being born into such an environment.
“You don’t need to thank me. My responsibility was to safely escort Ms. Eileen back. Goodbye!”
Eileen bid him farewell, saying, “Drive safely, Richard.”
Richard bowed to her and got into his car to leave.
Eileen greeted her father, saying, “Father.”
Will looked at her, his face devoid of a smile. His tone was stern as he asked, “You know the heir of the Smith family. Why didn’t you inform me about this?”
“I’m sorry, Father. I didn’t know at first either,” Eileen lied.
“Tell me, what is going on?” Will demanded.
