Reborn and Revenge

Chapter 12 Nowhere to Hide

Chapter 12 Nowhere to Hide

Was Angel mentally retarded?

When he had just stood on the second floor, he had seen her downstairs having snacks and listening to

the gossip of the young ladies. He had seen her lively face.

In a few words, she revealed the life story of her half-sister, infuriating Miss Daisy. Was she really

stupid?

Belle was kind. If her intelligence had a problem, she would certainly protect her, take good care of her,

just like she was good to him.

Would Angel remember that Belle was good to her?

‘Belle, if, Angel is the person you like, I will take care of her, okay?’

Jason lowered his head, trying to cover the deep pain.

When he raised his head again, he had become calm.

"Zak, what's going on over there?" He asked one of his men, who stood near him.

the Newman Group's design company did not win in the competition, so Anna got furious and tried to

find the winner, so that she could fire David.” Zak answered calmly, but he was relieved.

Every time mentioning Belle, Mr. Jason was sad.

Belle was like a magic spell pressing him.

There was always a solution to everything in the world, but for this one, there was no solution.

No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't bring someone back after five years.

"Good, keep an eye on David, perhaps he will be useful. Go find the winner and hire her." Jason said

and stood up.

"Yes! Mr. Jason, should we sign with her in the name of the Foster Group?" Zak asked.

"No, sign with us." Jason said coldly.

"Ok!" Zak answered.

Jason opened the window and the wind blew in. Jason took a deep breath.

Looking far into the distance, he saw the teaching building of M University.

When Belle died, she was a junior student, studying in her favorite visual communication design. If she

was alive, would she participate in that competition? Would she get a prize? Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Jason suddenly closed the window.

No ifs!

It was daylight when Angel woke.

She sat up suddenly, the strange environment made her mind blank for a moment.

She stuck her fingers in her hair and took a deep breath.

She persuaded her aunt not to go to the hospital last night.

She just needed to have sleep.

She saw too many "old friends", and the heart palpitations appeared again.

She thought she was ready, but when face to face, those people still affected her heart beat.

Angel could not help smiling bitterly.

She went into the bathroom, washed her face with cold water, lifted her eyes to see the face with water

in the mirror, stunned.

Yesterday, she met Jason!

How was that possible?

The heart leapt two beats faster.

Angel shook her head violently, letting the water fly.

"Angel, wake up. We have a lot of work to do!"

Downstairs in the living room, Aaron and Heidi sat on the couch. Aaron was holding his laptop on his

lap and Heidi was busy with her cell phone.

Seeing her come down, Heidi stood up, “My sleeping beauty, you finally wake up. I have been waiting

for you for a long time!"

Aaron put down the computer and stood up. "Are you all right?" he asked gently.

Angel reached out and rubbed Heidi's head and said to Aaron, "I'm fine, I'm just hungry."

Heidi took her to go to the restaurant, “I am almost starved to death!"

Aaron followed them.

Beside them, Angel's heart beat was back to its normal rhythm.

The old campus of the M University was next to the city center.

The campus, in sharp contrast to the rows of tall buildings and the hustle and bustle of traffic outside,

was peaceful and quiet, as if even time was moving slowly.

The towering ancient trees on both sides of the avenue witnessed the history of M University. The air

was thick with scholarliness, which was completely different from the CDB business district.

Angel walked slowly on the brick sidewalk with a magazine-sized box in her arms, breathing deeply in

the slightly humid air of spring. Students from M University walked by her side from time to time. She

was wearing a smile. The days of study were always happy.

There was still a way to go before the Design School, and the refreshing fragrance of lilacs was in the

air.

Angel's heart leaped and she quickened her pace.

In her memory, there were two rows of clove trees in front of the teaching building of the Design

School. It was the season of lilac blossoms.

Clusters of white and purple flowers came into sight with rich aroma.

Angel took out her cell phone and got close enough to take a close-up of the petals. She couldn't help

but put her nose into the flowers and took a deep breath. She felt herself soaked in the strong

fragrance of the cloves from head to foot. Then she raised her head with satisfaction and walked

toward the teaching building.

She thought she much used lilac to her work and let Heidi study embroidery and batik.

A black car quietly glided past her side, inside which a deep vision fell on her body, but she did not

notice it but looked down at the photos on the phone.

Angel breezed into the quaint three-story red brick office building next to the teaching building.

Everything here was the same and familiar.

The sound of the wooden stairs was pleasant, and the familiarity made Angel pleased.

Professor Jordan's office was the second room on the second floor.

"Professor Jordan, please take care of Anna!" A soft voice froze Angel at the door.

"Mr. William, my duty is to teach students. But it's up to the student to determine the future." Professor

Jordan's clear voice was neither servile nor pushy.

"Professor Jordan, you are modest. It is pleasure that I have you as her teacher. Please let us know if

you need any help in the future." Another voice, low and deep, sounded as if it were inherently

superior.

Angel's eyes watered up and she was to turn away.

"Angel?” Professor Jordan was pleasantly surprised to find Angel walking to the door.

Angel stopped in her tracks.
