Chapter 35 Plagiarism
Chapter 35 Plagiarism
The suit jacket slipped and she draped it over her arm.
Both boys and girls drew a little breath.
Angel was a beautiful woman, and her looks and gestures made like like a handsome man.
Angel walked slowly down the steps.
She glanced over the noisy boys, smiling.
“As a TA, I appreciate your courage!”
Her voice was pure and beautiful, but her tone was cold and full of sarcasm.
Aydin and Harvey had not yet sat down, looking at Angel.
If Hugo had spoken, they would have refuted.
But facing Angel, they both gulped.
They were thinking of their words.
Angel had ambled up the steps and stood in the middle of the room.
“You said you got up early to finish your homework, but you got slandered by Professor Jordan. But is
this your work?” She spoke sarcastically, casting a scornful glance at the rioters.
“You said that it is tired to study in a university, who told you it is not tired to study in university? Do you
think you will have a good life and don’t have to study hard when ou are admitted by M Univeristy? Do
you think money can solve all the problems?”
They were unpleasant.
“Miss Angel, you are still yong, do you’t have to lecture us. We might as well tell you some great truths
about life!”
Instantly there were heckles and laughs.
Angel folded her arms and looked coldly at the laughing men.
The laughter grew awkward.
Harvey said, “Miss Angel, is there any evidence that we are plagiarism?”
The man he found had been working for the students at M University for years. They were all original
and without duplicates.
Angel looked at him and, without looking back, pointed to a PowerPoint presentation on the
multipurpose whiteboard. She was holding a page-turning pen.
A design suddenly appeared on the screen.
Angel looked at the design. “Gee, this is the work of Harvey. It is original, ingenious, and bright in color.
Harvey's face could not help revealing satisfaction.
Angel looked at him. “Harvey, I just want to know who drew this picture for you and how much did you
pay for it?”
Harvey's face changed and he said firmly, “I didn't spend money, this is my own design!” Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Angel's lips twitched, “Calm down, I just want to remind you that you got ripped off. If you didn't pay for
it, you lost nothing, but you'd better not use this man in the future, because it was so clear that he was
fooling you!”
Angel pressed the page-turner pen.
Another picture was immediately shown, and the room fell silent.
Angel smiled. “Harvey, do you see now why I said you were tricked? Your work won a prize fifteen
years ago, but the prize was not popular, so few people know about it. In our industry, fashion is
important. This man must have thought that no now would know a work out of date.”
The original work, the original author and the trophy appear on the screen.
Harvey widened his eyes, “Shit! How dare he fool with me?”
Angel's eyes were sharp.
Harvey’s pupils shrunk, “Miss Angel, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm not scolding you but that man.”
The classroom was full of boos. Not all the students were the stooges of these rich families.
Those who studied hard had long been sick of these rich second generation.
But they could only dare to do so in Professor Jordan's class.
They didn't expect this young teaching assistant to openly challenge these people.
Angel showed another picture, “This is Aydin's works. I can't give evaluation to this great work,
because of author happened to be a predecessor I liked. This one has not been published, but showed
onece in a private exhibition. And you actually found it!”
She glanced at Aydin.
Aydin recovered within a few seconds, stood up and said respectfully to Angel, “Miss Angel, thank you
very much for letting me know that I was cheated. I will never forgive that bastard.”
Angel frowned. “I don't care about it, but if you dare do it again, I won't let you go!”
People around burst into laughter.
Aydin touched his head in embarrassment and promised he would not do it again.
Finally Angel's eyes fell on Anna, whose eyes were full of plea.
Angel looked at her with a half-smile. Two pictures appeared on the screen.
“As for Anna, being listed as a plagiarist is indeed a bit undeserved.”
As her words fell, Anna straightened her back.
Angel looked at Anna, “because, she did not plagiarize the famous work, but her own sister's original
work!”
All eyes were looking at Anna.
Angel paused. “Unfortunately, her sister happened to be a student of Professor Jordan. This work was
never handed in as an assignment, but she sent it to professor to ask for his advice. She was
professor's favorite student, and if she were alive, she would be the teaching assistant.”
Anna stood up and said in a soft voice, “I'm sorry, Angel, I just want to let my sister's work to be seen.”
Her appearance was pitiful.
Angel looked at her with a cold smile. She walked down the steps to the platform.
Hugo gave the platform to her, and he did not say a word.
Such a storm was solved by Angel.
He took a look at Anna and thought if only Belle was alive!
Angel, standing in the platform, said in a light tone, “I may not be able to identify every copy of the
work, but the three today are just very unfortunate. If you feel wronged, think I have gone too far,
please go to the student affairs office or the president's office to complain. We will not have a problem.”
Harvey and Aydinshouted, “We are wrong, please forgive us!”
Angel couldn't help smiling.
She exhaled lightly, “Visual communication art visually give people a kind of aesthetic enjoyment, more
importantly, it conveys a message, a concept to people. Without good ideas, there is no good work,
and composition is to solve the spatial relationship between graphics, color and text. It is to speak for
the client through designers.”
“You may have no respect for yourselves, for money, but please show respect for the real authors and
stop spoiling their work like this.”
Her tone was light and teasing at the last words, and laughter came from below.
Angel smiled, and her smile was instantly like a spring breeze.
“If you can come to my office to discuss topics, you are welcome. I don't need flowers or candy, but I
will do everything I can to help you. Anyway, professor doesn't allow me to touch any of the things you
sent me. So he took them all. Didn’t you didn't find her recently got fat?”
Everyone laughed louder.
Angel looked back at Professor Jordan.
The old man smiled and shook his head helplessly.
