Chapter 441 Sleep and Think Nothing Else
Anaya seriously thought about how to create this kind of dilemma. Hearst glanced at her and took away the book on her lap. "Reina has decided to leave. She and your brother should be over. Don't think about it anymore." Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
"You'll have an ultrasound tomorrow morning. You'd better sleep early."
Tonight, Anaya's attention was never on him. He hoped that she could temporarily be worry-free during her sleep.
Anaya nodded, lay down, and tucked herself in.
Hearst put the book on the nightstand, turned off the light, and lay down next to Anaya. He raised his hand to pull Anaya into his embrace.
Due to her pregnancy, Anaya always slept during the day and occasionally had insomnia at night. She could sleep more comfortably in his arms.
He kissed her forehead. "Good night."
"Good night."
...
After Jaylon left home, he didn't go to the hotel. Instead, he drove to Reina's place.
When he arrived, Reina was about to sleep.
Seeing Jaylon appear at the door covered in wounds, Reina was shocked and quickly invited him in.
She peeked out from the door and saw that there was no one outside. Then she instantly slammed the door closed.
When she was abroad, she had also seen Jaylon injured.
Their circle of friends was completely different. They got close because
she had helped him once.
After closing the door, she went to check on Jaylon's injuries.
The wound wasn't deep, so the injury wasn't too serious.
She asked, "How did you get injured? Did you meet an enemy?"
She met Jaylon's dark eyes. His entire body exuded a dangerous, somewhat terrifying aura.
Just as Reina thought that he was going to beat her, he said indifferently, "My dad did it."
In just a few seconds, Jaylon's expression had returned to normal as if his dangerous look was just Reina's illusion.
Hearing his words, Reina was stunned for a moment. "You're a grown-up. How could he hit you?"
"Well, to be frank, we had a fight."
Reina thought that he was practicing boxing with Leonard, so she didn't ask any more questions. She prepared to go to the 24-hour pharmacy outside in her pajamas to buy some iodine for the treatment of his wounds.
Jaylon stopped her. Although he was injured, he still had some strength in his hands. Reina felt her wrist shackled by the hardest iron.
"The wound is not deep. I'll get better. You don't need to buy anything."
He wasn't spoiled, so he could still bear this degree of injury.
"But I think I saw blood."
"Just a little bit. See, there's a scab. I'm fine."
Reina did not argue with him anymore. She asked, "Why are you here now?"
There was no expression on Jaylon's handsome and serious face. He said
in a calm, demanding tone, "My dad drove me out.
"I will stay here tonight."
Reina didn't agree. "I can book you a hotel room."
"No need."
"You..."
Reina had just uttered a word when she felt her lips get pecked.
Jaylon pecked a light kiss on her lips.
The faint smell of smoke mixed with the man's fragrant scent wafted into
her nose.
After the kiss, he said objectively, "A little dry."
The warm and humid touch of lips stunned Reina for a few seconds. Her
chest felt warm, but she quickly calmed down as her face sank.
He held her hand, ready to go into the bedroom.
Reina stood still.
"You came here in the middle of the night just to molest me?"
"If I really wanted to, your clothes would be gone now."
There was no need to wait until they entered the bedroom.
Reina was upset about the feeling of being suppressed. She said, "Sleep on
the bed. I'll sleep on the sofa."
Jaylon said, "We'll both sleep on the bed."
Reina still wanted to refuse, but Jaylon picked her up in his arms.
Reina was wearing thin pajamas with soft and smooth fabric.
Reina could even feel his body temperature and waist muscles.
She struggled, and the man's magnetic, hoarse voice came from above her
head. "Do you remember what I said to you in bed before?"
There had slept too many times, and he had said many dirty words. Reina
had no idea what he was referring to.
Jaylon lowered his head and deliberately whispered into her ear, "The more
you resist, the more I want to fuck you."
Reina froze. She bit her lower lip and looked up at him, not saying a word.
He only treated her fairly in bed.
She never felt offended when he occasionally said a few dirty words.
But when they were on no-sex terms, her first reaction to his flirting was not
anger, but shyness.
If it were anyone else, she would probably be so angry that she wanted to
kill that man.
Jaylon looked at her expression and knew that she was recalling
something.
The woman in his arms felt embarrassed. Her face was rosy, seducing
because of annoyance.
Jaylon suddenly remembered their sex a few days ago.
He was about to have a boner. He carried her into the bedroom and put her
on the bed.
After regaining her freedom, Reina immediately shrank to the corner and
looked at Jaylon warily.
"You promised to give me a month to consider. It's not time yet."
"Don't worry. I won't touch you."
Jaylon took off his shoes and coat and climbed onto the bed.
Reina raised her foot to kick him, but he grabbed her ankle.
His palm was wide and powerful, enough to wrap her ankle all in.
With her ankle caught, Reina trembled. She wanted to take it back, but Jaylon grabbed her other foot and pulled her forward.
In the next moment, their bodies were tightly pressed together.
This posture gave her an illusion. If not for the clothes covering their
bodies, they would be a pair of lovers as they were on those countless
nights.
Feeling his subtle change, Reina panicked and reached out to push Jaylon.
"Jaylon! Get down!"
Jaylon did not listen to her. He released his grip on Reina's ankle and wrapped his arm around her waist. He held her tightly and fell with her in his
arms.
Reina struggled violently again.
However, it was nothing to Jaylon.
He held her back and pressed her head against his chest. "Close your eyes.
I won't do anything else."
Seeing that he didn't move, Reina believed his words and gradually calmed
down.
Reina finally quieted down in his arms. Jaylon asked again, "What did Vincent say to you when he came to you today?"
His expression was a little cold, and his voice was tense and low as if he
was questioning.
