Reborn As The 112
Chapter 112 +5
Eleanor finished the last scene of the morning, and it wasn't difficult. She got it in one take. After finishing, Grace handed her a bottle of water at once.
Eleanor walked over to sit under the sunshade, twisted open the bottle, and took a few sips, finally feeling like she was alive again. She glanced around and felt that something was off. After a moment, she realized that the atmosphere on set seemed noticeably relaxed. Even Victor had started lounging and talking casually. "Did Stephen leave?" Eleanor asked..
Grace nodded while fixing Eleanor's hair, which had been blown slightly out of place by the wind. "Yes, he left while you were still filming. Mr. Lloyd took a call and seemed quite anxious."
"Alright." Eleanor had been so focused that she hadn't paid attention to what was happening around her. She inexplicably felt somewhat disappointed, as if something was missing. Noticing Eleanor's serious expression and furrowed brows, Grace couldn't help but ask, "Eleanor, are you feeling down?"
Eleanor was taken aback and quickly denied it. "No, I'm fine." However, despite her words, her tightly knitted brows remained unrelaxed, and the lump of frustration in her chest wouldn't dissipate. She scratched her hair vigorously, thinking, 'What is wrong with me today? It feels like some unknown resentment is controlling me, suppressing my dopamine, yet I can't pinpoint the cause. "Wait! Eleanor, you messed up the hair I just fixed," Grace quickly called out.
Eleanor shyly lowered her hands and apologized. "Sorry, I forgot.
As Grace carefully rearranged her hair, she cautibusly suggested. "Eleanor, are you sulking because Mr. Lloyd didn't say goodbye when he left?"
With a "thud," the wall that had been blocking Eleanor's chest fell away. All of her resentment and frustration seemed to find a reason at that moment, making her breathe a little easier.
Eleanor bit her lip in disbelief. 'Am I seriously upset because of Stephen? No, that's impossible. I clearly hate him.'
"It's not that. I just got too into character and couldn't adjust my emotions. It has nothing to do with Stephen," Eleanor said emphatically.
Grace nodded, still not convinced. "I see." Suddenly, she continued, "Oh, right! Mr. Lloyd said that he prepared gifts for
in the in the crew, but yours is separate. Make sure to check if you like it when you get it."

Eleanor opened her script to prepare for her lines, and upon hearing Grace's words, she scoffed, "Pfft, I don't care." But the lump of frustration in her chest seemed to dissipate instantly, replaced by a sense of joy. She couldn't hold back the smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Eleanor thought, 'Wait, that's not right. Why am I smiling? That Stephen, the person I swore never to submit to. She shook her head vigorously to keep herself alert. At that moment, the bracelet under her long sleeves suddenly shook gently, just once, before settling down again.

Gloria had been reprimanded sharply by Victor for flubbing her lines overa dozen times.
Victor pointed at her forehead, exasperated, and said, "You and Eleanor are both first-time actresses. Why doesn't she ever mess up? You should learn from her. Acting isn't about making guesses. You need to observe and learn more. 20:56 Fri, Nov 15

Gloria sat under the sunshade, stamping her foot in frustration, her face twisted in a grimace. 'Eleanor, it's always Eleanor. What charm does she have? Why does everyone speak to her with such kindness? Just wait. One day, I will crush her into dust.'
A clear ringtone suddenly interrupted Gloria's anger. She pulled out her phone and saw Samuel's name on the screen, frowning. 'Isn't Samuel supposed to be filming right now? Why is he calling me?'
Gloria took a deep breath and answered, "Samuel? What's up?" Her voice had returned to its usual sweet and demure tone.
A magnetic voice came through the receiver. "Gloria, I heard from Andrew that you're also filming at the studio. Why didn't you tell me? I could have come to take care of you."
Hearing Samuel's concerned words, Gloria's previously distorted expression slowly relaxed, and she couldn't help but smile, thinking, 'Samuel cares for me more.
"I just got here a few days ago. I meant to tell you, but I was afraid of disturbing your work, so I didn't. I'm doing well here. You don't need to worry about me. It's just Eleanor. She..." Gloria hesitated, her words carrying hidden meaning, immediately noticeable to Samuel. Sure enough, Samuel exploded as soon as he heard. "What? Did Eleanor bully you? What did she do?
Gloria quickly explained, "No, don't think weirdly. She didn't bully me. She...she has been really nice to me, really. She treated me very well." Gloria rushed to clarify, but her voice cracked, revealing her distress, looking just like someone who had suffered unjustly. Samuel said affectionately, "She must have bullied you, right? Gloria, you're too kindhearted to defend her. You're being too foolish."
Gloria sat silently on the chair under the sunshade, expressionless as she looked in Eleanor's direction. A flash of malice passed through her eyes, but she still pretended to be pitiful. "Samuel, I'm not as smart as her, so the director prefers her over me. I came here to learn. And I don't have social connections like Eleanor. Samuel, am I useless?"
Samuel's expression darkened instantly. He had watched Gloria grow up. She had always been obedient and considerate, never fighting for anything, which was why all six brothers adored her. He thought Eleanor was the same type.
Samuel thought, 'It turns out I misjudged Eleanor. She is so malicious that she isolates Gloria from the entire crew. He spoke with indignation. "Gloria, don't worry. I'll prepare some gifts for everyone in your crew. Send them to your colleagues and build good relationships with them. They will be less harsh on you."
