Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 838 Jesse explains his afterlife

But he asked with difficulty, “Did you see Mrs. Pascall taken?”

“They brought Mrs. Pascall out as if they didn’t hurt Mrs. Pascall, some scruples, Julia tried to go to protect Mrs. Pascall and was wounded by them, it was Mrs. Pascall who stood in Julia’s way so they didn’t kill Julia.”

“Molly and Tavish probably weren’t their targets so they just hurt me but didn’t stop me.”

Jesse had been watching Jeff as he spoke.

The people who were the most suspicious in his mind today were Jeff and Julia, but this incident didn’t make it certain which of the two of them was Alex’s man, or maybe even both of them were Alex’s men.

However, from Jeff’s words, he knows that Nydia won’t be in danger for a while, the other party just wants to take her away and doesn’t want to hurt her, so that means she’s safe for a short time.

Now everyone is not only looking for Nydia, but also worry about whether Jesse will have an attack, once Jesse has an attack, he will lose his backbone.

So Jesse called Frederick in.

“Frederick, go get Theo.”

“Theo? Theo who keeps calling Mrs. Pascall Lady Nydia?”

“Yes.”

Theo shouldn’t know what’s going on right now, but Jesse knows that Theo has the means to do it, and he needs Theo’s help.

Frederick brought the news to Theo, and Theo came in hot knowing that.

“Give me all the clues you have, quick!” Theo doesn’t blame Jesse when he arrives, he quickly gets down to business.

It was a move that Frederick appreciated, and unconsciously cooperated by handing him all the clues.

“We don’t have many clues at the moment, can you see if you can get something useful out of this?”

Theo glanced over the clues quickly.

“These clues are from that Keiki guy? What about the person? Reliable?”

“Reliable so far.”

“Bring it to me and I’ll take a look.”

Frederick let out a soft chuckle, “You’re pretty good at giving orders.”

Theo froze, before giving Frederick a serious look.

“I’ll bring Keiki over.”

It didn’t take long for Keiki to be brought over.

Theo looked him up and down as Keiki stood there being ogled, his face unchanged.

He told Theo the previous explanation again, Theo listened and asked a few questions and let Keiki go.

“Where’s his daughter?” Theo asked Frederick.

“Checked, staying at home, the kid’s aunt helps take care of it.”

Theo nodded, so that seemed to be fine.

From the way Keiki had acted before, his daughter was his life, if he wanted to do something bad, then surely he would have put her in place first, so it seemed like he was simply trying to return the favor.

“Are you very good? How come I’ve never heard of you?” Frederick spoke to Theo.

Theo raised his eyes to look at him before lowering them again to continue looking at the clue in his hand, “I’ve never heard of you either.”

“Then we’ll be hearing about each other next.”

Theo frowned and didn’t bother.

After a while Jesse came over to them both.

“Mr. Pascall, your face …” Frederick was worried when he saw how bad Jesse looked.

“I called you guys over here to tell you that if I have an attack, just leave me alone and get me under control, but you have to keep saving Mrs. Pascall, no matter what it takes, including my life.”

“I’m still conscious and what I say is valid, when I’m not, you guys don’t have to pay attention if I say something weird, I don’t know what will happen when I have a fit.”

Theo looked at Jesse blushing.

“Why don’t you curse me?” Jesse pulled his mouth into a self-deprecating smile.

“Lady Nydia cares about you, now that something has happened to her, the most important thing is to find her, scolding you for wasting your time, I’ll teach you a lesson when Lady Nydia gets back.”

“Good.” Jesse nodded.

“You guys go and get busy, I’ll continue to look at the surveillance.”

Quite a few of the villa’s surveillance had been destroyed, but some of the more hidden ones hadn’t.

He would need to rely on those monitors and then check other monitors by what he saw.

“Mr. Pascall, why don’t you take a rest? Your body can’t take it like this.” He hadn’t closed his eyes since Mrs. Pascall’s accident, even an iron body can’t take it.

“I’m fine, I can’t sleep either, and I’m worried that I’ll … fall asleep.”

He’s actually not too afraid to sleep right now, afraid that if he falls asleep, he won’t be sure what he’ll wake up as.

After Theo and Frederick walked out, Frederick couldn’t help but say, “Mr. Pascall blamed himself more than anyone else for Mrs. Pascall’s disappearance.”

“So?”

“You have a better attitude.”

Theo snorted softly, “You’re rather good at interfering with my thoughts.”

Frederick choked, it was obvious that this was Theo talking about him in the same sentence he had just used.

“I don’t have time for this nonsense, I need to find Lady Nydia as soon as possible, and if something happens to Lady Nydia, I’m not going to let Jesse off the hook.”

“It’s my duty to protect Mr. Pascall.” Frederick’s meaning was clear, he wouldn’t let Theo mess around.

“Then I’ll beat you first.” Theo said dismissively.

“Fine, then try.”

Theo withdrew his gaze as he identified a few locations, “Let’s go to these locations first and see if there are any clues.”

“Uh-huh.”

Frederick realized that he and Theo were kind of good at working together, sometimes it didn’t take much talking to come up with a piece, this tacit understanding felt different.

Only two of the places they went to check out didn’t have much clues.

Instead, they found some clues in the third place.

“It seems like they came to this place and then left again.” Theo scrutinized the traces on the ground and the surrounding situation.

“Hmm, see if there’s any surveillance nearby.”

The two were efficient as they quickly integrated the information to come up with new conclusions after splitting up the work.

However, they both also knew that this time was not simple and Nydia would not be found in a short time.NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.

Nydia opened her eyes with great difficulty, and her eyes were filled with white surroundings.

She moved her body, heavy but not restrained, and found herself in a hospital room.

Had Jesse gotten her back?

No, if Jesse had gotten her back, he would have been the first person she saw when she opened her eyes.

But the hospital room was empty at the moment, no one was there.

She immediately went to look at her stomach, it was okay the baby was fine, the baby was still there.

But her legs were so edematous that she had a hard time getting off the floor, it took her a while to get used to it before she could take two steps, and she had to hold on to something.

From the hospital bed to the door such a little distance she walked for a long time.

After opening the door and realizing that there wasn’t much outside either, but this was clearly not a proper hospital, but rather an indescribable feeling, she decided to stay put for now and go back to the ward.

Taking her pulse and checking her body, she was just a little weak at the moment, but it wasn’t a big problem and the baby was healthy.

There was a clock on the wall and the time was 3:28 PM.

But she didn’t know what day it was or how many days it had been since she was captured.

Her being captured would be too much for Jesse to bear.

As she was thinking about it, the door to the hospital room was pushed open and a man in a white lab coat walked in, he saw her for a moment and then smiled slightly, “Awake.”
