Chapter 15 It Seems That Bianca Doesn't Welcome Me Home
"If I remember correctly, Abigail hasn't been back for five days." The only teenager at the table who was eating his own meal without being disturbed said calmly.
"Roman, what did you say? Five days?" Cole said a little bit angrily.
Roman took a sip of his drink and said coldly, "It seems so."
"She's been missing for five days. Why didn't you call the police?!" Cole glared at Paula.
Cole had only returned home two days ago, so he did not know that Abigail had been missing for five days. Although he didn't like this daughter much, and even somewhat dislike her because of his father's will, she was his own daughter.
What may she have done in the past five days? He dared not to imagine it.
"This ...... I ......" Paula looked at Biance, who immediately said, "Mo, and I both thought Abigail was just being naughty, so we didn't think much of it ...... Moreover, she often hangs out with those people ......"
Paula agreed, "Yeah, you're overly concerned. Abigail will be fine ...... when you're not around, she often doesn't come home at night either ......"
"Boom--"
The sudden sound of a door slamming startled them all. They thought someone had taken the door down, so they all looked towards the door.
The housekeeper, Nora, ran to the door in a panic. She saw a figure appear against the light in front of her eyes. When the cold, stern eyes swept over her, Nora was so surprised that she unconsciously got a little chill all over her body.
She didn't even come to her senses for a moment.
"What's going on?" Cole asked.
Only then did she finally respond, "Sir, it's Miss Abigail who has returned."
Hearing her words, Bianca's entire body froze, and her heart jumped to her throat. This can't ...... be possible! Her eyes widened as she looked towards the door.
Abigail walked through the door step by step, with her eyes sweeping one by one over all the people at the table who had fixed their eyes on her.
The middle-aged man who looked decent, was a soldier at first glance. It was her father, Cole Turner.
The woman in a sexy red dress was in her thirties but she looked like she was in her early twenties. That was her stepmother, Paula Finch. Abigail silently scoffed at the thick foundation on her face.
The teenager whose eyes wandered over her looked somewhat similar to her. He was her own brother, Norman Turner, who shared the same mother with her.
The other frightened and panicked young girl is Bianca Turner, who hates her very much. She was also Cole's daughter.
When she looked at Biance, the corners of her mouth hooked slightly. She said coldly, "I'm back."
Bianca's hands were almost trembling, no...... wasn't this bitch dead? Even if she wasn't dead, she couldn't be intact! What the hell is going on here?
"Are you ...... you a human or a ghost?!" Bianca couldn't help but ask.
She entire body hid behind Cole.
Cole smacked her hand, suggesting that Ye Ning shouldn't say something like that, "Bianca, what are you talking about?"
Abigail laughed and said coldly, "It seems that Bianca doesn't want welcome me back."
Bianca's eyes widened and she glanced from side to side. She could only swallow her saliva nervously as she saw other people at the table staring at her in confusion.
"I ......"
Paula hurriedly smooth the situation over and squeezed out a smile, "Bianca has been watching too many horror movies lately, that's why she's acting a bit strange." She stared at Abigail with dissatisfaction and angrily scolded, "Look at you! You're scaring your sister. Where have you been fooling around these days? We haven't heard a word from you, and now you're so mean to your sister. Do you still care about this family or not?"Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
