Chapter 94
Third Persons POV
Alpha Fredrick of the Red Moon Pack stood trembling with rage. His hands clenched into fists as he replayed the humiliating events in his mind.
The alpha prince, Nolan, had come unannounced, his presence exuding an aura of dominance and power that left Fredrick feeling like nothing more than a common rogue.
His authority had been stripped from him in front of his pack, and now, he was no longer an alpha. The title, the respect, the fear he commanded–gone, just like that. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
His son, pacing furiously beside him, was equally enraged. “This is builshit!” he spat, his voice seething with anger. “He has no right to come here and do this to us. We’re the Red Moon Pack, damn it!”
Fredrick could only nod, his mind racing for a way to reclaim what had been. taken. The humiliation burned deep, a constant reminder of their fall from power.
“I know, I know,” he muttered, his voice laced with bitterness. “But he is the alpha prince. His word is law, and we couldn’t do a damn thing to stop him.”
“Fuck his law!” his son snarled. “We have to fight back, make him pay for this. We can’t just roll over and accept it!”
Fredrick’s eyes darkened with a mix of fury and desperation. “Do you think I don’t know that? But how? We have nothing now. No pack, no support. We’re outcasts.”
His son’s eyes blazed with determination. “We’ll find a way. There are others who hate the alpha prince, who want to see him fall. We’ll ally with them, gather our strength, and strike back.”
Fredrick nodded slowly, a grim smile forming on his lips. “Yes, we will. Nolan thinks he can humiliate us and get away with it, but he’ll regret ever crossing the Red Moon Pack.”
The humiliation and fury coiled in Fredrick’s chest, fueling a burning desire for revenge.
The alpha prince might have stripped him of his title, but he hadn’t broken his. spirit. The fight was far from over.
Alpha Fredrick gathered the elders of the Red Moon Pack in the dimly lit basement of what used to be his home. The atmosphere was thick with anger and desperation.
The elders, once the pillars of their community, now looked disheveled and anxious, their eyes darting around the room, seeking reassurance from one another.
Fredrick slammed his fist on the table, drawing everyone’s attention.
“We can’t let this stand,” he began, his voice a low growl. “Nolan has taken everything from us. But we’re not beaten yet. We will find a way to strike back.” One of the elders, an old man with a grizzled beard, shook his head. “Nolan is powerful, Fredrick. He’s the alpha prince. He’s virtually untouchable.”
Fredrick’s eyes flashed with determination. “I don’t care how powerful h .s. We will find his weaknesses. There are others out there who dislike his rule, who want to see him fall as much as we do. We will seek them out, form alliances, and build our strength.”
Another elder leaned forward, his voice hushed. “But how? He has eyes and ears everywhere. Even planning this meeting was a risk.”
Fredrick nodded, acknowledging the truth of the elder’s words. “We have to be smart about this. We’ll send out trusted scouts, make contact with rogue packs and other enemies of Nolan. We need to gather information, find out where he is vulnerable.
His son, standing by his side, chimed in. “And we’ll need resources. We might have! lost our pack, but we still have skills and knowledge. We can trade, make deals, whatever it takes to regain our footing.”
The elders murmured in to a steely
agreement, their initial fear slowly giving way resolve. They knew the risks, but their desire for revenge burned hotter than their fear of Nolan.
Fredrick outlined a plan, assigning tasks to each elder. Some were to seek out potential allies, others to gather resources and information.
They would work in secrecy, using coded messages and meeting in obscure locations to avoid detection. It was a dangerous game, but they had little choice. As the meeting drew to a close, Fredrick felt a glimmer of hope. They were beaten but not broken. They would rise again and make Nolan pay for his arrogance. What Fredrick didn’t know was that Nolan’s men were already closing in. Their movements had been tracked, and their plans were not as secret as they believed. Fredrick and the elders dispersed, thinking they were one step closer to reclaiming their power, Nolan’s men were preparing to strike.
In the dead of night, as Fredrick and his son were finalizing their next steps, the door to the basement burst open.
Nolan’s men poured in, weapons drawn, eyes cold and unyielding. Fredrick’s heart sank as he realized they had been outmaneuvered.
“Alpha Fredrick, the leader of the intruders sneered, “you’re coming with us.” Fredrick fought back, but it was futile. Outnumbered and overpowered, he was swiftly subdued, his son’s desperate attempts to save him ending in failure. Asthey dragged him away, Fredrick’s mind raced with thoughts of revenge, but deep down, he knew their fight had just become infinitely harder.
The Red Moon Pack’s last stand had been crushed, and Fredrick was about to face the consequences of challenging the alpha prince.
Alpha Fredrick was being dragged away by Nolan’s men, he twisted in their grasp. his eyes locking onto his son.
Despite the pain and the overwhelming sense of defeat, his voice boomed with a ferocity that momentarily stunned everyone in the room.
“Don’t you dare give up, boy!” Fredrick shouted, his voice echoing off the basement walls. “This isn’t the end for us. You hear me? You keep fighting. You find a way to make him pay!”
His son, standing amidst the chaos, felt a surge of defiance rise within him. Tears of frustration and anger welled in his eyes as he watched his father, once the formidable leader of their pack, being manhandled by their enemies. But
Fredrick’s words struck a chord deep within him.
“Father!” he yelled back, his voice cracking with emotion. “I won’t let them break us. I promise you, I’ll find a way!”
Fredrick’s captors yanked him towards the door, but he continued to shout, his voice growing hoarse. “Gather the others! Stay hidden, and keep planning. They may have taken me, but they haven’t taken our spirit. Remember, we are the Red Moon Pack. We don’t fall so easily!”
His son clenched his fists, feeling the weight of his father’s words. He nodded vehemently, determination solidifying in his heart. “I won’t let you down, Father. We will rise again.”
Fredrick managed a grim smile as he was hauled out of the room. His last words, barely more than a whisper, reached his son’s ears. “Stay strong. For our pack. As the door slammed shut behind Fredrick and his captors, a heavy silence fell over the remaining elders.
The young man, now bearing the mantle of leadership, stood tall amidst them. He wiped away his tears, his eyes burning with a newfound resolve.
“We’ll honor his words, he declared, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside hira. “We’ll keep fighting. For my father, for our pack, and for our future.” The elders nodded, their fear giving way to a renewed sense of purpose. Despite their dire situation, Fredrick’s defiance had reignited their spirit.
They would regroup, plan, and bide their time. The fight was far from over, and they would ensure that Nolan would come to regret ever crossing the Red Moon Pack.
