Chapter 615 Drake, Sophia Doesn't Mind It
"You can trust me on this. I won't let other women come in here." Drake suddenly realized something
as he said it, "Cathy is the representative of Antelligence."
Antelligence was quite famous abroad. Sophia had heard they would send someone to work with the
Riley Group, but she didn't expect it to be her cousin.
"I know, Drake. I trust you."
At this moment, Cathy felt like a clown as she had always been the loser in front of Sophia since they
were kids. Now she had turned out to be different, but she still felt like a loser here.
"Sophia, I didn't expect you would come so soon. Drake and I still have some business stuff to talk
about. Could you wait?"
"I'm okay with that. I also have some work to do. So, take your time." Sophia then took out a laptop
from another cabinet and went over to the couch.
Cathy noticed her movement, which felt like Sophia was quite familiar with it because she had done it
many times.
There was anger in Cathy's eyes, but that was temporary.
"I've changed my clothes. Drake, we can move on."
Drake slightly frowned, "Cathy, you used to call my name in that flirting tone; that was fine. But now I'm
married to your cousin."
"Oh, sorry. I forgot. I was just getting used to it," Cathy said it somehow in coquetry.
Drake took a glance at Sophia. Seeing that her face didn't change, he heaved a sigh and thought,
'Thank god she's not angry.'
"We are not in the past anymore. We're talking business. You should talk to me in a businesslike tone."
"Okay, I will, Drake." Cathy's voice still sounded sweet with intimacy.
Her voice annoyed Drake, and he checked Sophia's expression many times.
Drake's movement was slight, but Cathy still caught that. The way Drake behaved this time looked
nothing like the one she used to know.
Not any woman could conquer Drake. Cathy was even wondering what kind of woman could make him
change this much. She didn't imagine that it would be her cousin Sophia.
Cathy was pissed when she saw him worrying that Sophia would get angry.
"Drake, here..."
Cathy then pulled herself together and started to work.
She leaned towards Drake once in a while.
And her hand would sometimes touch his.
It was awkward for Drake to say it out loud, but now he had to.
"Cathy, I think you should sit opposite me!"
"What?" Cathy looked at him with a confused look, "Why? Did Sophia say something to you? Sophia,
do you mind if we talk business?"
Sophia raised her head and glanced Cathy casually, "Nope. Don't get me into your business. I'm busy
right now."
Cathy looked at Drake with a smile and then intentionally put her hand on his arm.
"Drake, see, Sophia doesn't mind."
Drake put her hand away and said with a darkened face, "Sit there."
Cathy opened her mouth and was about to say something. But seeing that he wouldn't back down, she
had to move the chair a bit farther.
Then they would be talking business purely.
They talked about business details for about half an hour. Cathy checked her watch.
"It's about lunchtime. This is the first time I have come to Sealand. Drake, what would you recommend
to eat? Take me!"
"Ask Sophia."
Cathy sensed that Drake was colder to her than before. Back then, when they were abroad, he treated
her differently than other women. She was pretty proud of it at that time. And she thought he had
feelings for her and didn't make a move because...
She got upset because she didn't expect him to treat her like this.
Sophia closed her laptop and asked, "Are you two done with the business?"
"Yes, honey. What do you wanna eat for lunch?" Drake hurriedly came to Sophia.
Cathy bit her lip hard when she saw that flattering expression on Drake's face.
"You didn't make a reservation?"
Sophia said it casually but also intimidatingly.
"I'll ask Paul."
Paul soon came in and said, "I made a reservation at Sealand Grand Hotel. Mr. Riley, shall we go Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
now?"
"Yes."
Drake walked next to Sophia. Seeing them walking away, Cathy then followed up.
Some people were already in the chamber when they got to Sealand Grand Hotel. There were Helena,
Travis, Bailey and Flynn.
Bailey didn't plan to come. After all, Chloe still had to stay home and rest after giving birth. So Bailey
wouldn't go anywhere without her as he didn't want her to get upset.
But Sophia called him and asked for Chloe's permission. So he came.
Cathy looked at them. It had been years since she met them, but she could still recognize Helena and
Travis at once.
"Helena, Travis!"
Travis took a look at Cathy, "Hey! When did you come to Sealand?"
"Yesterday afternoon. I came to see Sophia as soon as I arrived."
Sophia sat down and now realized the reason why Cathy would come to see her was because of
Drake.
Cathy would probably treat Sophia the way she treated Travis, and they wouldn't have met yesterday if
Sophia didn't get married to Drake.
"Why didn't you tell us? We would have picked you up."
"I came here for work. Besides, my company has arranged everything for me. And I was worried that
you would all be busy. So I didn't tell you."
"By the way, Helena, Travis, congratulations! I wish you two a happy marriage and a long and nice life."
Helena replied with decency, "Thank you."
Cathy then sat down next to Drake instead of Sophia. And everyone noticed that, looking confused.
Drake looked at Sophia, indicating that he wanted to switch seats with her. But Sophia disagreed.
Drake was speechless.
He somehow felt that something terrible was going to happen.
Cathy looked at Bailey while grabbing Drake's arm and asked, "Drake, are those two Bailey and
Flynn?"
Sophia was a bit surprised that Cathy would know so many of Drake's friends.
Bailey said with a smile, "Cathy, I haven't seen you for years."
Flynn also smiled, "That's right. Cathy, it's been a long time."
"Aww, it's really you guys! I've been wondering if I could get to meet you this time. And now we are all
here. So soon!"
