Sophia glanced at him but didn't answer.

"If you don't tell me, I will go ask Cathy. You know I hate to see you sad."

Drake really hated Cathy.

Sophia kept shedding tears as she looked at him.

Drake didn't know what to do. "Sophia, don't act like this. Tell me what happened. If Cathy said

something hurtful to you, tell me and I can tell you if it's true or not."

"Would you tell me the truth?" Sophia looked at him, aggrieved.

Drake thought about it, "Will the truth hurt you?'

Sophia nodded, "It might."

Drake thought for a while, "I will tell you the truth. If what I had done before did hurt you, although I hate

to see you sad, I don't want to hide it from you. I don't want these things to get between us. Since we

are faced with a problem, we should solve it."

"Fine. Here's the thing..."

Sophia told him everything that she had heard from Cathy in the company.

Drake was pissed off, "She's totally making it up, trying to sabotage me. My first time is with you. I have

never had sex with any other woman, how could she say that?"

Sophia was stunned seeing him so angry. "You mean, it never happened?"

"I admit that she has set up a great trap. Not even Flynn, Hugh and Bailey know the truth, you can't

even ask them about it. But I promise it had never happened."

Sophia sat straight.

Drake looked at her strangely, "Sophia, don't you believe me?"

"No. I do ." Sophia said seriously, "I will believe anything you said."

Drake breathed a sigh of relief.

"I had suspected that she might be making it up, but I didn't think she could make up such a story. She

must have someone helping her."

"Damn it. I should really call and have her replaced in the cooperation case."

Then he was about to make a call.

Sophia stopped him, "No need. My grandma and uncle will be back soon. We will meet sooner or later.

I will get back at Cathy for lying to me."

Drake stared at her, and appreciated his wife more.

"Sophia, I have told you that there is no more secret. You must believe me next time."

Sophia nodded.

It wasn't that she didn't believe him, but that Cathy really made up a great story.

"Okay. Let's go to sleep." Sophia had made up her mind. She would take a nice sleep and the first thing

she wanted to do tomorrow was to teach Cathy a lesson.

Drake touched his nose. He had wanted to do something about Cathy but it seemed Sophia wouldn't

agree. Luckily, it didn't affect their relationship.

The next day, Sophia came to Cathy's place and kicked the door open without even knocking.

Cathy had just woken up and was startled by the noise. She looked at the person who broke in. Before

she could say or do anything, Sophia had stridden over to her.

Sophia grabbed her neck with anger in her eyes.

"Cathy, was it fun lying to me?"

Cathy came to her senses immediately. She had thought that the story would sabotage their

relationship, after all, how could Sophia take it that her husband had slept with someone else before?

Even if she could, how could she take the fact that her husband had once gotten someone pregnant?

This was the best story she had found.

"Sophia, I don't know what you are talking about."

"Don't play this with me," Sophia grabbed her neck and looked outraged. "Cathy, you are really

something. I just haven't seen you for a few years. How could you make up such a story just to get

Drake? You're really shameless."

"I understand, Sophia. Did he deny it? But I have proof!"

Before she finished, Sophia had cut in.

"Since you were doing this, of course you're well-prepared. I don't buy it at all."

"I understand. No one would believe it. I admit that Drake really loves you, but Sophia, you have to

believe me. We did have sex, he didn't admit it because he didn't want to lose you."

All of a sudden, Sophia slapped her in the face.

"Sophia!"

Sophia gritted her teeth in hatred, "Cathy, how disappointed would Grandpa be if he were still alive and

saw this?"

"Sophia, why did you bring up Grandpa?"

"You have never treated us with sincerity since we were kids. And now, what a vicious bitch you've

become! Don't you feel guilty for what you've done as a Lawson family member?"

Cathy was anxious, "How can I make you believe? It's okay you don't believe me, but let's bet that

Drake will call me in ten minutes!"

"Dare you bet with me?"

Sophia sneered. "So what if he called you? He will call to teach you a lesson."

"But have you thought about why he would teach me a lesson? Of course, because he..."

"Alright, I don't believe a word you said. Cathy, for the sake of the Lawson family, I can let go of you this

time. But don't blame me for being heartless if you did it again."

Sophia let go of her and was about to leave.

Cathy's phone suddenly rang.

"I know it's Drake."

Sophia took her phone. It was indeed Drake calling.

However, Sophia left without looking back anyway.
