Chapter 3123
Chapter 3123
Nathan stood still, looking astonished by what he was seeing.
Even though Vivien was injured during the battle earlier, she refused to give in. Instead, she gathered her strength and used her subordinates in a blood sacrifice ceremony to summon Blood Pool War God.
The ritual sapped the woman's energy and left her drained and exhausted. She sniggered as she lay on the ground and saw Nathan's terrified face. She sneered, “Haha. Are you afraid? Are you scared of death?"
When the man regained his senses, he mumbled, "Well... there's no need for such bells and whistles."
Vivien widened her eyes in disbelief as the man appeared unfazed by the impending danger.
Just then, Blood Pool War God let out a howl and raised his bone sword to strike at Nathan.
Whoosh!
As the bone sword was closing in on Nathan, he heard piercing cries of dread, as though many malevolent disembodied spirits were in excruciating anguish.
However, he remained firmly planted on the ground.
Next, he took out an exquisite knife from his pocket and held it tightly in his hand.
Luckily, he dodged and escaped just as the bone sword was going to land on him.
Swoosh!
Nathan raised his dagger and deflected the bone sword's blow.
At first glance, Nathan's dagger was less powerful as compared to Blood Pool War God's weapon, the bone sword.
However, when the two weapons clashed, an unexpected result occurred. When Vivien realized that Nathan's dagger had successfully split the bone sword in two, her eyes widened in shock.
What happened next was even more appalling. Nathan thrust his dagger into Blood Pool War God's left abdomen and sliced him in half. What's happening?
Vivien gaped at the man in disbelief, her mouth agape.
Nathan dashed in front of the woman after slaying the beast.
It was the first time she displayed signs of fear and anxiousness.
However, she was defenseless because she had expended all of her energy and was severely injured.
All she could do was stare helplessly as Nathan's dagger approached her.
Swish!
With a skillful stroke of the dagger, Nathan beheaded Vivien. She had finally left this world.
However, Nathan frowned slightly at the strange occurrence of Vivien's death.
Her blood, which had splattered all over the floor, vaporized and formed a blood-red rose-shaped cloud. It continued to hang low and did not dissipate.
Nathan made his way through the ruins to the main entrance.
Ava, the Elite Eight, and the rest of the army had barricaded the place and refused to let anyone in.
Meanwhile, Colin and the others were all looking at the rose-shaped cloud in the sky and whispering to each other.
Nathan also could not help but stare at the cloud, puzzled as to why it existed.
Ava, the wise woman, told Nathan, "According to an Adrune legend, when a King-Class vampire dies in combat, the blood floats to the sky and forms a blood-red cloud. It be there for a long time. All vampires will be informed about the death of their King-Class clansman and will mourn his or her passing."

Nathan said indifferently, "Well, we live in a huge world. How is it possible that everyone can see such a tiny cloud? Doesn't the legend sound a little exaggerated? By the way, how's Mrs. Woods and Maisy doing?"
Ava immediately replied, "Our men have escorted Mrs. and Ms. Woods to the hospital as they were frightened by the incident. They

down." ne
Nathan nodded and instructed, “Send someone to tidy up the loose ends. Be careful not to let this matter spread out to avoid causing unnecessary fear."
"Yes!" Ava and Colin said in unison.
