Chapter 13 Grievance

Chapter 13 Grievance

It was a gloomy night; Emily Morris was standing in front of the French windows while waiting for

Sebastian Clark to finish his bath. She was holding her glass of red wine and kept drinking them while

these drops of wine slowly flowing through her throat and entering her stomach.

She had to avenge her father, who had passed away, who had been slandered. Forget about dignity.

She felt like she was a demon crawling out of hell at this moment. The first lesson she learned during

those two years in prison was to treat herself as a non-human being and gained the ability to nurse a

grievance, someday...

While Emily was brewing her premeditated plan, her wrist suddenly got pinched, and that strength

almost took that mere piece of flesh from her arm.

She had to keep pretending, no matter how much it hurt.

Emily turned around with an awkward grin, and hooked both her hands on Sebastian's sturdy neck,

"Sebastian, why are you so angry? Can I help you out? I am not sure if I am capable."

She drank too much wine, her face turned very red because of alcohol, and her blush cheeks looked

very seductive.

Sebastian lifted her chin, as he observed carefully, a few moments later, he finally opened his mouth

saying: "Your face could be considered as above-average, but it’s such a pity that..."

What he meant was very clear. Her value and worth have changed over the past two years. He didn't

like how she was a real foul-up now.

In the past, Emily used to underestimate her enemy, she was ignorant and arrogant as she viewed

herself as superior to others, that was how Mrs. Morris ruined her family.

After all her suffering, she obviously wouldn’t expect Sebastian to be interested in her.

Emily smugly put a gentle smile on her face, "Why would I care if I am above-average as long as I

could get to be the apple in your eyes."

Everyone loves to be praised so does Sebastian, but something didn’t feel right as he listened to what

she said and now he got very upset, he cast his anger on the culprit who made him unhappy.

He squeezed her wrist, even more, to make her feel more pain. Emily couldn't help but frown, and then

faintly spit out, "Please be gentle, I'm a little uncomfortable."

It meant what it meant, but it could sound misleading.

However, Sebastian didn't pay much attention to her begging for mercy, even if he heard it clearly, it

seemed that he was deliberately trying to torture her slowly.

She seemed like she was left there to be slaughtered, and even resistance would be of no avail.

When he decided to let her go, she couldn't help but covered her wrists and stared at him, cursing at Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

him in her mind, but she forced herself to keep smiling.

Sebastian took a cigarette and just had a smoke, Emily suddenly stretched out her hand and snatched

it then took a deep pull of that cigarette.

She was much more skilled now than she was two years ago. She used to choke herself before and he

saw that.

"Emily, how many men do you want to hook up with to be satisfied?"

She started coughing as this unexpected question came out and it had made her choke herself with the

smoke inside the throat.

They were supposed to be here only for business purposes, nothing about their private life.

Sebastian raised his eyebrows, "I'm just curious. You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to."

Of course. How could Emily not understand what he meant? She put out the cigarette, looking at this

attractive man in front of her then she swallowed the smoke.

She was only fifteen years old that day, she accidentally broke her hymen during her dancing lesson,

and that was the reason she didn’t bleed after she had sex for the first time that night two years ago.

"Are you obsessed with virginity?" Emily asked while getting out of bed and getting dressed.

Sebastian remained silent and continued to smoke, sullenly.

Emily had a glance at him, walked towards him, and bent over, she pressed her lips on his ear and

kissed him softly. She said, "No matter how many men I ever had, you would be the only love of my life,

Sebastian. Anyway... whoever you end up marrying is going to be one very lucky woman."

That was an obvious provocation. Sebastian's face turned so pale, he almost reached his hand out to

choke that woman's slender neck and strangle her to death.
