Chapter 332
Chapter 332
Molly agreed, "Alright, I'll listen to Leo."
But in the end, Molly didn't reply.
Over at Ashford Inc., Jack was staring at the messages he'd sent out, none of which got any
responses. He asked the woman who gave him Molly's WhatsApp number, "Is this really Jade's
WhatsApp?"
The woman replied, "I gave you her number. I have no reason to lie about her WhatsApp. I'll ask Jade if
she didn't notice. Jack, if you manage to win Jadeover, you should thank me."
Jack replied, "I definitely will."
In the middle of class, Molly's phone buzzed with a notification. She picked it up and it was a message
from the Thornton family's daughter: [Jade, are you there?]
Molly put her pen down, looking at the message the woman sent her, lost in thought.
After class, Molly told the two, "I know who leaked my info."
Mia looked at Molly's phone screen and said, "This might happen again in the future. Molly, you should
get a private phone number."
Molly put her phone down, frowning, "Shouldn't she ask me before giving out my number and
WhatsApp?"
Leo chimed in, "Molly, be careful. If he didn't find you today, he might come to the school to look for you
in a few days. You're famous. It won't be hard to find you."
Molly and Mia thought that was impossible. After all, Molly had already said she was busy and wouldn't
have time to meet him. However, after school, Molly saw a man standing outside the gate and froze.
"Leo, how did you know he would come?" Molly asked.
Leo heard Molly's tone and guessed who it could be. He said, "Just because I understand men."
Just then, Jack approached them with a smile, "Jade, done with school?"
Molly looked at the sudden appearance of Jack, a hint of displeasure in her heart. She said, "Yes, but I
have something else to do. What brings you here?"
Jack realized Molly was hostile towards him. He figured he must've done something wrong, so he
explained, "I have a classmate who teaches here. I came to see him, and thought I might run into you."
Leo snorted, "What a coincidence. You managed to guess her number, and run into her while visiting a
friend. You're really lucky."
Jack frowned at the hostile boy, "Are you Jade’s friend?"
Jack looked Leo up and down. He was a good-looking guy. Could he be Molly's boyfriend?
Mia spoke up, "He's my nephew."
Jack turned to Mia, noticing her baby bump first, then asked curiously, "And who are you?"
"I'm Mia, Andre's wife." Mia said.
Jack looked at the innocent girl in disbelief. She was Andre's wife! Jack said, "Mrs. Cedillo, nice to
meet you. I didn't expect to run into you here. It seems we have some sort of connection. I'm Jack, a
manager at Ashford Inc. I finished my doctorate overseas last year and returned home. I hope to have
a chance to work with Andre in the future."
Mia said, "I'd rather we didn't have any connections. My husband might get angry if he hears about
this."
The three were all hostile towards Jack. He chuckled awkwardly, but he came with a purpose. So, he
turned to Molly, "Jade, can I save your WhatsApp number to my contacts?"
Leo took out his phone, "Just save mine. I'm their assistant. You can contact me if you need anything."
Looking at their useful nephew at this crucial moment, Mia and Molly both wanted to award Leo with
the title of "Best Nephew".
Jack saved Leo's WhatsApp number with a last glance at Molly, then asked in a displeased tone, "And
what's your name?"
Leo ignored Jack's hostility and casually replied, "Just put me down as Andre's nephew."
Jack hadn't taken Leo seriously before, thinking he was just a tag-along. But hearing his introduction,
Jack froze.
He was also part of the Cedillo family?
After saving Leo's WhatsApp, the three left. Once they got in the car, Leo put his phone down, "Molly,
did he think your name was Jade, not Molly?"
Molly nodded, "Except for us, everyone else thinks my name is Jade. My classmates only know I
changed my name, but not my relationship with you."
Leo didn't have a good impression of Jack from their brief contact. He warned Molly, "Try not to talk to
him too much. I'm afraid you might run into a hard-to-shake-off pest." Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
Both of them listened to Leo's advice on this matter, "Alright, I won't."
Mia sat in the backseat in silence for a while. She took out her phone and texted her brother: [Cooper,
help me look up Jack from Ashford Inc.]
Cooper looked at the message on his phone and quickly replied: [Do I look like a search engine to
you?]
[Don't piss me off. Your nephew is still in my belly.] Mia replied.
[I'll get you results within three days. Take care of my nephew.] Cooper replied swiftly.
Back at the Cedillo family home, Leo began to investigate the man who was trying to pursue Molly.
After dropping the two off, he went somewhere else.
Mia watched the car drive away and said, "Molly, don't you realize your future boyfriend is gonna have
a hard time?"
She had two fathers, three brothers, and one nephew. If even one of them disapproved, their
relationship might not continue. Especially Chad, if he were to look into the guy's family background, it
would be a real hassle.
Molly said, "I'm actually quite worried too. Don't tell me by the time you have your third child, I'll still be
single."
Mia glanced at her belly, "No worries, your brother is bound to pick one from my litter for you."
"Are you really planning to have three kids?" Molly asked.
At this, Mia felt like she had missed something. She said, "Molly, hold on, let me do some quick math.
My pregnancy timeline seems off."
Originally, she had planned to get pregnant during her senior year and let her husband write her thesis.
But the kid came early! She needed to run some numbers.
When Andre got home from work, he found his wife engrossed in study. He sat down next to her and
saw her counting on her fingers, mumbling, "July, August, September..."
His gaze fell on the messy notes on the paper. "What are you calculating?" He asked.
Mia furrowed her eyebrows, saying, "Honey, I think I'm gonna be expecting our second kid less than six
months after giving birth to the first."
Andre looked confused, "Why do you want to have the second one so soon?" He hadn't been pushing
her to keep having kids.
"If I don't have more kids, you won't help me with my thesis." She explained.
Andre was speechless. Then, he affectionately pinched her nose, saying, "Mia, you're such a
lazybones. If you hadn't married me, wouldn't you still have to write your own thesis?"
"Well, not necessarily, I could've passed it off to Leo or Cooper." Mia said.
