The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 447

Chapter 447

Allison thought when she picked up the call, the first thing the guy would do was question her or even

warn her straight away. But surprisingly, his voice came through, “Are you enjoying your meal?”

Allison was taken aback, her eyelashes fluttering slightly. “It’s okay.”

“You can go to any Lindberg Corporation restaurant in the future. There’s a card in my bedroom. You

can eat for free at all their places.” Lucian said.

Allison asked, “What if I clean out a Lindberg Corporation jewelry store?”

Lucian answered, “If you like, I can have Shawn send over the latest and most luxurious pieces from

Lindberg Corporation’s jewelry line right now.”

“Never mind.” Allison said, “As you know, I’m not into all that fancy stuff.”

“Are you getting ready for work now?” Allison asked. Going by Britain’s time zone, it should be morning This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

for Lucian. Allison glanced at her watch, figuring Lucian must have flown to Britain for some important

business. He couldn’t possibly be calling her for a chat this early in the morning.

Allison went on, “You should go take care of your business. I won’t disturb you.”

“Allison.” He called her name. Hearing her steady breathing and chattering in the background, it hit him.

He’d been fooled. This woman didn’t go to the bathroom at all. “Is it fun to trick me, Allison?” Lucian

asked.

“Pretty fun. I didn’t ask you to call me.” Allison hadn’t expected to be discovered just as she was about

to end the call.

Silence on the other end lasted for a few seconds. Allison bit her lip, thinking he was angry. Then she

heard Lucian say, “I’ll be back on Wednesday.”

Allison’s lashes fluttered, “I’ll wait for you.”

After hanging up, Daisy let out a long sigh of relief, “So, did Mr. Lindberg get mad?”

“No, Mr. Lindberg said he’s got a big gift lined up for you.” Allison said.

Daisy said, “That’s good. You have no idea, my heart was pounding when I picked up the call. His aura

can intimidate me even through the phone screen. I can’t fathom how you deal with him on a daily

basis.”

Seeming to think of something, Daisy lowered her voice, “Is Mr. Lindberg always this cold in bed?”

Allison’s face turned red in an instant. She glared at Daisy, “Daisy, can you be serious?”

“Isn’t this a serious question?” Daisy asked.

She went on, “What’s there to hide? Or is he not cold, but passionate? No way, he doesn’t look the

type. I saw online someone saying Lucian has a high nose bridge and long big hands, which means…”

Allison cut her off as her words grew more outrageous, “That’s enough. It’s okay.”

Daisy grew more excited, “What do you mean it’s okay? How good is it?”

Allison rolled her eyes and put a piece of vegetable in Daisy’s bowl, “Eat your food. You can discuss

this sort of thing with the eldest son of the Boswell family in a few days.”

Hearing the name of the Boswell family’s eldest son, Daisy’s mood deflated like a punctured balloon.

She bit into her vegetable, sighing, “Ah, I feel like a bird in a cage. Frances Boswell? He probably can’t

even perform in that department anymore. Poor me. And I’m still so young.”

Daisy’s voice was neither loud nor soft, just a simple complaint.

The restaurant was bustling. The grand opening attracted a lot of customers, filling over seventy tables.

Allison and Daisy were seated by the window, in a booth. The booth behind them was also close to

theirs.

Wilton had just taken a sip of beer when he heard a woman’s complaint from behind. He suddenly

choked, almost spitting out his beer.

His friend quickly handed him a tissue, asking, “Wilton, are you okay?”

Wilton wiped his mouth and said, “I’m fine.”
