The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 533

Chapter 533

Allison had just started in the entertainment industry, so her footing was still shaky. Although Nicki

didn’t have a massive following, she was still known, had a portfolio, and had even won Best

Supporting Actress for one of her roles. This marked a new height in her career, having steadily built up

her reputation over the years. Allison sipped her coffee. “Of course, Nicki. Whatever you need, you can

always come to me.”

Nicki was a clever woman and their conversation flowed easily. NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

It was a well-known fact in the industry that no one could survive alone. Having an extra friend meant

having an extra ally.

As they left the café, Nicki had to head to a shoot, so she left first. Allison was getting ready to leave

too when she saw Emma looking for her. “Emma, what’s up?” she walked over.

“Allison, a lady named Leah is looking for you. She’s already waiting in the lounge.”

Leah…

Allison’s eyes darkened slightly as she headed for the lounge.

In the lounge, Leah glanced at her wristwatch. She had been waiting for half an hour already. Did this

Allison dare to keep her waiting this long?! She swallowed her irritation and waited for another five

minutes.

Finally, the lounge door opened and Allison walked in. She didn’t show any surprise at Leah’s

presence. She had probably already guessed why Leah was

here.

“Mrs. Flanagan, what brings you here?” Allison asked coolly as she took a seat across from Leah.

Leah frowned. “Allison, I am after all your senior. Is this how you treat your elders?”

–“What’s wrong with my attitude?” Allison couldn’t understand.

Emma had not left. At first, she didn’t know who Leah was. Seeing that she was well-dressed, she

treated her with due respect. It was only after hearing Allison address her as Mrs. Flanagan that she

realized who Leah was. She must be Penelope’s mother.

Penelope’s mother coming to see Allison could only mean one thing. She was here because of the

negative publicity her daughter was receiving.

Allison smiled. “Mrs. Flanagan, you should count yourself lucky that you came today and I happened to

be here too. Otherwise, you’d waste a trip.”

Leah slammed her hand on the table. “Allison, I’ve been waiting for you for 35 minutes. You’ve got

quite the nerve!”

The last traces of a smile vanished from Allison’s eyes. She turned to Emma. “Emma, start recording.

Let’s show everyone on Twitter what kind of attitude Penelope’s mother has when she comes asking

for a favor.”

Emma immediately took out her phone and started recording Leah.

Leah looked slightly taken aback. She wanted to scold Allison but was afraid of the video being

exposed. She hadn’t expected Allison to be this defiant. Leah’s mind raced. “Allison, this situation has

blown up quite a bit. I’m sure you don’t want to see this either. Let’s both take a step back.”

“Oh? And how do we do that?”

“You announce on Twitter that you and Penelope are good friends and that her comments were just a

joke between sisters. No harm at all.”

Allison laughed. “Good friends? Mrs. Flanagan, you surely know how to crack a joke.”

Leah made an offer, “I know a top nephrologist. If you’re willing to settle this Twitter issue, I can

introduce him to your mother. Even though she’s had a kidney transplant, she still needs ongoing

treatment to prolong her life.”
