Chapter 579
Chapter 579
He had a simple plan. He just wanted to play with the woman who he found quite fetching. He believed
that the game between a man and a woman was a consensual dance of desire. It had only been a few
brief encounters. However, he felt like he had somehow...
Damn, he had fallen for her.
It was 10 A.M. Hughes made his way to the Blue Club.
The Blue Club only opened at night. During the day, the staff were off resting, only starting to trickle in
around 3 P.M. to prepare for the evening’s business.
Right now, the Blue Club was empty except for him. He flicked on the lights and headed for the table.
The room had been straightened out the night before. Lighting a cigarette, Hughes remembered
Robbie was still up on the third floor. He climbed the stairs and knocked on the suite’s door. It was
opened by a woman in a sexy slip dress. Her eyes lit up at the sight of Hughes. Her voice was turning
sultry. “Mr. Hughes, Robbie is still sleeping.”
Hughes exhaled a smoke ring, barely glancing at the woman as he stepped into the room. She
followed him, batting her eyes. “Mr. Hughes, for the past few days, Robbie and I have been good as
gold. We haven’t stepped out of this room.” She tugged at her already low neckline, revealing even
more flesh.
Hughes didn’t even spare her a second look as he sat down on the living room couch. After a couple of
puffs, he stubbed the cigarette out in an ashtray. “Wake him up. I need to see Robbie.”
The woman, stunned by his blatant disregard, straightened her ample chest in frustration.
Nevertheless, she went to rouse Robbie.
About ten minutes later, Robbie emerged from the bedroom, clad in pajamas. It seemed he’d been
dragged out of a deep sleep. “Hughes, you wanted to see me?”
“Penelope called you? You’ve been hiding here. Has anyone else tried to contact you?”
“Penelope? Yeah, she rang me up, but I didn’t pick up. I didn’t dare. Outside the Blue Club, I’m a dead
man walking. Who knows what schemes Penelope’s cooking up. The net’s got all sorts of stories, and I
ain’t no fool. Hughes, you ask me to stay here. It’s about that Allison’s thing, right?”
“Thirsty, Hughes? Have some water.” The woman, Abbey, not ready to give up, brought over a glass of
water, setting it down on the coffee table in front of Hughes. Her dress suggested she wore nothing
underneath.
Hughes stood up. “I don’t know this Allison. I’m just doing a friend a favor. You stay put here. If
Penelope reaches out, let me know.”
“You got it, man. You saved my life; I owe you one.”
After Hughes left, Robbie playfully squeezed Abbey’s waist. “You little slut, you couldn’t wait to throw Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
yourself at Hughes, huh?”
Abbey let out a sultry whimper. “Easy, Robbie, that hurts.”
“You just can’t help yourself, can you? Parading around half-naked, and desperate for Hughes’
attention. You’re shameless,” Robbie said as he pinned her to the couch. Abbey moaned seductively,
“So tell me, who’s prettier? Me or Penelope?”
“You can’t hold a candle to Penelope’s wild side. She’s got tricks you haven’t even dreamed of. Don’t
be fooled by her rank; she’s a slut in the sheets.”
