“You still love that girl? Yuck, man!” Celine said while staring at Chase.

I couldn’t help but frown, so did this demon man indeed have an ex? I can’t imagine that he can love, that’s how bad I think of him to think that.

“You don’t understand,” said the demonic man annoyed and ma’am Candeza sighed.

“I know she’s your first love, son. But I don’t want to see your life almost ruined when she left you,” I could feel the concern in ma’am Candeza’s voice. “She left you, Chase. You don’t deserve someone like her.”

The demon man didn’t answer so Sir Camden spoke. “let him be a martyr,” he said and looked at me. “If you’re not going to live in the same house, how will your schedule be? Like, what day will Chase have the twins?” he added.

I bit my lower lip because of what I heard, I don’t want that to happen.

“I’m sorry, sir Camden. But I don’t think I can agree to that, because Caleb and Aria are the only ones I consider as my family,” I politely promised. “But C-chase can visit my condo if he wants to see the twins. I don’t have a problem with that,” I added.

“Really, mom?!” Aria said smiling and I smiled back.

Sir Camden nodded. “Okay, I respect your decision,” he said and we all continued eating and talking. After finishing, I let them talk to Aria and Caleb while I talked to the demon man outside their mansion.

“What do you want to talk about?” he asked when we left that’s why I looked at him seriously.

“I just want to remind you of my other condition that’s why we came here to your mansion,” I said seriously while looking into his eyes, I crossed my arms. “I didn’t say that you can visit us whenever you want, you really will visit, I just want to be nice in front of your parents that’s why I said that. Don’t expect that you can still see my children after this day,” I added.

I didn’t see any emotion on his face and he was just looking at me seriously, after a while he spoke. “I know,” he said. “I know you are very angry with me because of what happened before, I want to say that I did that because-” I quickly cut him off

“Oh! Is that because you’re horny? Do you really need to say that? You don’t need to explain,” I said angrily and rolled my eyes. “I can’t even stand near you without the feeling of disgust.”

I saw his frown. “You don’t understand, I was dru-”

“You want?! Don’t say a word about that night!” I said angrily, holding back my screams and calming myself down because I didn’t want the people inside to hear me. “You don’t know what I went through,” I glared at him before quickly leaving in front of him.

I can feel the speed of my breathing because of the anger I feel. As soon as I entered, I met Celine.

“Can we talk?” she murmured when she saw me, I sighed before smiling and nodding.

She took me to the swimming pool of their mansion, we sat on a wooden bench and she talked.

“I know that what happened to you with that bullshit man was not really a one night stand,” she immediately said as she sat down and my eyes widened in shock. “She only recently found out that you are not a prostitute. I’m sorry for that word.”

“I don’t know why he is forcing me to be a prostitute,” I said annoyed and Celine gently grabbed me by my shoulders before talking.

“I hate him so much but believe me, he had a reason why he did t-that,” she said while looking into my eyes, I was filled with wonder.

“Reason? That demonic man had a reason to do that? But why does it have to be me?!” I couldn’t stop screaming. “Why does he have to do that to me? I almost killed myself because of depression,” I added weakly.

“He couldn’t control himself that night,” Celine promised almost in a whisper. “But I shouldn’t have explained everything to you because he should be the one to tell you the truth.”

I feel the pain in my chest. “After this day, he won’t show up with us anymore and won’t bother us anymore because that’s my condition so my children and I came here,” I said and looked at Celine. “My children want him as their daddy, while I don’t. I know Aria thinks that we will be a complete family, but I’m selfish, I know that. Because I don’t want Chase to be their father,” I added and Celine was completely speechless.

When we got back inside the mansion, I could hear them laughing while talking to Aria and Caleb.

“I heard Caleb won a piano contest?” Calix asked me.

I nodded and smiled. “It was his first time contest, I’m so proud of him,” I murmured.

“I want to see him play the piano live!” Celine said with a smile and pointed to the piano on the side.

Caleb looked at me and I nodded so he went to the piano, and when he started to play, everyone fell silent watching him.

I don’t know why I looked at that demonic man and saw him with a small smile on his face as he looked at his son doing his favorite thing.
