Chapter 174
Chapter 174
Wyatt Reed rolled into the bathroom in his wheelchair. Since he injured his leg, he wore baggy pants that were easy to remove. He did, however, put on his pajama pants after some consideration. After all, he was powerless at the moment, so he should avoid going too far. If Ivy is scared of him, she may flee in a fit of rage. Wyatt surveyed his bare upper body contentedly. His chest was robust and shapely, with well– defined contours. His sculpted back and abdominal muscles moved gently in unison with his breathing. His usual icy demeanor was replaced by charisma. Wyatt was reminded of Jimmy's remark. "Mr. Reed, your physique and face are truly remarkable! No woman will be able to resist your appeal, so you are not required to speak during the bath. Allow Ms. Morgan to indulge and enjoy her perspective. If she is a little passive, that indicates that the event was a success!" Wyatt was skeptical, but he would give it a try. He heard the sound of someone opening the bedroom door a few minutes later. Wyatt regained his composure and opened his eyes to examine himself in the mirror. He casually tousled his hair to create the appearance of natural unkemptness. Outside the bathroom, the sound of footsteps came to a halt. Someone rapped on the door of the bathroom. Wyatt felt a little uneasy for some reason. "Ivy, I'm inside; please come in immediately." Wyatt inhaled deeply, feigned calm, closed his eyes, and told himself. 'Do not be afraid!' Jimmy's reminder occurred to me once more. "Simply close your eyes and allow Ms. Morgan to have fun with your body." Soon, water began to patter against the bathtub's side. Ivy turned on the faucet to preheat the water. Her movements were gentle and soft as she wrapped a towel around his leg to keep water from splashing on it. Wyatt's eyes remained closed, but his breathing became more rapid unconsciously.
As she began wiping him, she placed a warm towel on his back. Wyatt's entire body became tense unconsciously. The towel moved delicately from his back to his arms. Wyatt's face was drawn tight as he struggled to contain his nervousness. In the bathroom, there was only the sound of rushing water. The two people were taking slow, deliberate breaths while the water splashed in the background. There was a prolonged silence that felt strange. Wyatt couldn't help but wonder why she hadn't spoken. Wyatt couldn't help but wonder why she hadn't spoken. Why didn't she react?' Earlier, Jimmy stated to him. "During the bath, Ms. Morgan will undoubtedly search for a topic and will most likely be flustered due to her inability to think clearly while staring at your sexy body. You simply need to provide straightforward responses and avoid delving too deeply into the subject." ‘But… She couldn't come up with a topic... If she is shy, a small amount of conversation should alleviate the awkwardness, right? If she is angry, her actions should not be as gentle and circumspect, right?' Wyatt couldn't help but crease his brow, unsure whether he should speak first. The warm towel that had been draped behind him abruptly departed his body. Wyatt experienced some discomfort as the warmth dwindled. The individual behind him held two brand-new bottles of shower gel and inquired, in a rough and hoarse voice, "Mr. Reed, do you want the mint or strawberry scent?!!" Wyatt's body tensed abruptly. With a piercing chill, he opened his eyes suddenly. Bill's fierce, expressionless face appeared in the mirror in an instant. He rolled up his sleeves and carried two bottles of body wash. He appeared to be in a tangle as he inquired once more, "Which scent do you desire?" Wyatt was tempted to dash out of the bathroom, but his right leg refused! He locked his gaze on Bill, stunned. Although his eyes drooped slightly, his face remained extremely calm, stoic, and grim. "What brings you here?" Wyatt wondered out loud, his teeth gnashing. 'Bill, the bodyguard, was the source of the tension, restraint, and the rich series of activities I
imagined about?! Where is Ivy?!' Bill's shoulder was even equipped with another towel for wiping down Wyatt. His technique was flawless! Wyatt would have been unaware that the person who came to bathe him was actually Bill if he had not abruptly opened his mouth! Wyatt was enraged and annoyed that another man had touched him, but he was at a loss for whom to vent his rage. "Ms. Morgan directed that I give you a bath and massage," Bill stated calmly. Although Bill, as a bodyguard, felt extremely uneasy doing so, this house had only two other men. That snoring butler could not be roused, even when Bill kicked him. As a result, Bill had no choice but to sacrifice himself. Wyatt's eyes drew in tightly. At the time, his face was complex and deep. His chest was violently heaving, and his mind was completely blank. He grimaced as he clenched the wheelchair's handle. Bill appeared a little unsure as he made his decision. "Then it'll be mint-scented." It seemed strange for a large man to use strawberry–scented body wash. Following that, Bill deftly pumped the body wash onto his hand and was about to lather it all over Wyatt's body when Wyatt cut him off. Wyatt spoke in a deep, oppressive, and restrained tone. "Leave!" Through clenched teeth, he stated. Wyatt could not bear the prospect of Bill touching him so intimately again, even if he felt cold. He was well aware that he would go insane. Bill's fierce face froze slightly as he was taken aback, 'How did his attitude shift so quickly? Wasn't he having a good time just now?' Bill looked tangled as he held the bottle of body wash. "Are you sure you don't want a massage, Mr. Reed?" 'These are Ms. Morgan's instructions!' Wyatt locked his gaze on Bill, his gaze cold and piercing. His face was gloomy. "Are you sure you don't want me to repeat myself?!!"
Bill pressed his lips together. "All right then." 'Since he has refused, I am powerless to compel him.' He set the items in his hand down, turned around, and walked away. Wyatt remained in the bathroom for an entire three minutes, attempting valiantly to calm himself and regulate his emotions. 'Didn't that fat ass say he'd figure out a way to eliminate Bill?! Why hasn't he appeared yet?' He dressed calmly, wheeled himself out of the bathroom, and briefly froze when he noticed the woman in the bedroom. Ivy stood at the bedroom door, waving toward Bill as she entered. Wyatt wore a bathrobe, exposing his well-defined collarbones. Droplets of water dripped down his hair and landed on his bare, sexy chest. Ivy arched her brow. Her eyes glowed with a flash of light. Wyatt's physique was indeed flawless. 'It's understandable that Wyatt would seek out such dubious methods. Is he attempting to seduce me?' Ivy's smile became more pronounced. "Are you satisfied with Bill's service, Mr. Reed?" Wyatt wanted to rewash his entire body earlier when he thought of that image. His face was contorted, brimming with dissatisfaction and rage. "Ivy, shouldn't you explain yourself?" 'How did it get to be this way? Whatever I imagined did not come true!' Ivy's eyes glowed strangely as she looked at him. "While I am here to care for you, we are divorced and should avoid any deceptive contact." Ivy purposefully capitalized the word: divorced. Wyatt's face contorted. Instantaneously, the light in his eyes dimmed. His anger and coldness vanished instantly when he saw her smile. His mouth was filled with a hint of bitterness. He had his first taste of this agonizing suffocation. There appeared to be no way forward, no hope. Her words pushed him headlong into the abyss, rendering him helpless. Ivy smiled, oblivious to Wyatt's despair. "If word spreads, how will we be able to marry other peopleNôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
in the future?" Ivy was exceptionally skilled at stabbing people in the heart, particularly Wyatt. It felt incredible. Her toes rested against the door as she smiled at Wyatt. “Goodnight, Mr. Reed.” Ivy walked away without waiting for a response from him. She made it abundantly clear to him that he would undoubtedly understand. She had additional means of rousing him from his delusions if he pretended not to understand. His tricks were so out–of–date! Wyatt’s gaze was dark and glum as he locked his gaze on her as she walked away. Those words pierced his heart like knives. Obviously, it was excruciatingly painful, but he had no one to blame and could only endure the agony because he deserved it.
