Chapter 60

Chapter 60 Are You Addicted to Hugging Me?

“Well, that’s good too. It looks like I’ll able to leave in peace after three months.” Sarah replied without thinking.

As soon as her words fell, Christian’s face turned cold and he felt silently.

Sarah saw his expression and knew that she had said the wrong thing. She did not dare to say anything.

Because of her previous lesson, Sarah took out a thick blanket from the closet and placed it in the middle of them, before sleeping.

Christian looked at her in confusion. “What is this for?”

Sarah smiled in embarrassment. “I always go to your place to sleep at night. With this quilt, I will definitely not cross the line.”

Christian was not angry. He looked at her and smiled faintly, “Then you can put the blanket down.”

Seeing that he did not have a big reaction, Sarah felt relieved in her heart. She laid down beside Christian and quickly fell asleep. Ever since she came here, Sarah felt that her sleeping was getting better and better. She also didn’t have previous nightmares.

Sarah did not know, how long she had slept, but she felt that she had fallen into a warm and wide embrace. A pair of wide hands slowly reached over and wrapped around her waist. She instantly felt a sense of security. She could not help but shrink her body in his embrace and rub it, wanting to find a warmer place.

When she woke up in the morning, Sarah had not opened her eyes yet. She felt that the blanket was still there, but for some reason… She was still hugging the man beside her tightly.

The most embarrassing thing was that one of her legs actually went between his legs. It was on his thighs. If her leg went up a little bit… It would have reached his genitals.

It was too embarrassing!

Sarah was really embarrassed to open her eyes, but hugging him like this made her feel very uncomfortable. Her heart was beating much faster than before.

Sarah wanted to pull her leg back before opening her eyes, but just as her leg moved, she felt a hot kiss suddenly fell on her forehead.

She suddenly opened her eyes and looked at this man who was very close to her.

Looking at her pair of shocking eyes, Christian smiled. “Are you addicted to hugging me?”

Sarah’s face instantly turned half red when she heard his words. She looked away and explained. “No, I’m sorry. I just like to move around when I sleep.”

“You really like to move around. Fortunately, I’m not in good health. Otherwise, with your position to seduce a man, he won’t let you go, right?” Christian said half-jokingly.

“I am really sorry. I really did not mean it.” She swore that she definitely didn’t want to seduce him. But no matter what she said, it wasn’t as convincing as the scene in front of her.

At this moment, she was hugging him. Her legs were in the middle of his thighs. He said that she seduced him, and she really had nothing to say.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and used a little force. Her chest instantly stuck to his. She looked at him nervously. “What are you doing? I’m going to get up.”

“How about we make an agreement?” He seemed to have not heard what she said, so he smiled and suggested.

“What agreement?” She had a bad premonition.

“In the future, as long as you hug me and wake up, let me kiss looked at her and said. “Like this!”

Sarah’s face involuntarily twitched. Kiss her?

No!

But before she could replay, he let go of her. He turned his head and took the watch from the bedside table to look at the time. Then he looked back at her.

“It’s late, let’s get up.” With that, he propped himself up on the bed and sat up.

Sarah retracted her legs and wanted to say what happened just now. But before she could sit up, she heard him say, “Today I want to wear my own shoes. Help me change my clothes first!”

Sarah heard his words and did not care about what happened just now. she got off and walked to the wardrobe. She took out his cloths and walked back to his side. She helped him take off his pajamas and shorts first and then helped him put on his military uniform.

After all of them were changed, she looked at him with some worry. “You really want to wear it yourself?”

Christian smiled. “Don’t worry, I can do it.”Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

After saying that, he slowly put his feet into his shoes and used his hands to lift them up. Sure enough, he had put his shoes on.

“Wow, does your leg feel much better?” This was the first time Sarah saw him put on his own shoes. She was genuinely happy for him.

“It seems to be like this!”

“That’s great! From today onwards, I will help you with your rehabilitation training. You will definitely recover better and better.” Sarah looked at him and shouted happily.

Christian smiled and then sat in the wheelchair with Sarah’s help. He went into the bathroom to wash up.

When they walked out of the bedroom, Sarah let Christian go to the living room first and went to kitchen to prepare breakfast.

When she walked into kitchen, she suddenly remembered her phone had not rang for the past two days. She had been here for two or three days. Apart from the first day that she had reported her safety to her mother, she didn’t have the mood to make calls. But even so, she should have received a phone call.

Thinking of this, she quickly went to the bedroom and found her phone. She found that it was out of battery. She immediately found the charger. After charging her phone, she returned to the kitchen.

After breakfast, Sarah entered the bedroom again and turned on her phone. In less than a minute, missed calls and text messages rang one after another. She clicked on them and found that most of the calls were from David.

It was only then that she remembered that she had never called David ever since she arrived. So she called him.

The phone only rang for a moment before it was quickly connected. David’s anxious voice came, “Sarah, how are you? Are you there? Why didn’t you call me? I don’t know Christian’s phone number either. Do you know that I’m dying of anxiety?”

Sarah’s heart warmed when she heard his anxious greetings. She spoke in embarrassment. “Mr. David, I’m really sorry. My phone ran out of battery. I just remembered today. I made you worry, I’m sorry.”

He cared so much about her, but she forgot to call him.

“It’s fine, as long as you are safe.” David felt relieved when he heard that she was fine.

“Mr. David, you must be worried these two days.” Sarah was really a little embarrassed.

“Yes, I am indeed a little anxious, but I am relieved when I hear your voice. Sarah, I have a friend who brought back some nutrition products from overseas these two days. The business of the hotel has already started to stabilize. I don’t have anything else to do so I want to send it to you. Tell me where Christian is.”

“Mr. David, I already have a lot of nutritional food at home. You can keep it for Auntie.” She did not expect him to deliver it to her personally.

“Just tell me. I have already boarded the highway. I can’t go back.”

“You’re on the highway?” This sudden situation made Sarah at a loss.

“Yes, I asked Auntie this morning. She said that she only knew that you were in City F. As for the specific location, she did not know. How about this, give me a rough route first. I’ll call you when I get

there!”

David did not wait for Sarah’s reply and directly hung up the phone after saying this.

Hearing the voice on the phone, Sarah was somewhat dumbfounded. David came?

What should she do?

She held her phone and walked back and forth nervously in the bedroom. She heard Christian call her name, so she could only open the door and walk out.

“What’s wrong? Do you want to go to the bathroom?” Sarah looked at Christian and asked absent- mindedly.

“I want to try this walking stick. I want to do some rehabilitation training.”

“Wait for me, I’ll be right there.” Sarah immediately returned to the bedroom and quickly closed the door. She found Kendall’s number and dialed it.

“Sarah, you phone is finally connected. What’s wrong with you?” Kendall had also called her phone a few times, but every time, the operator would remind that the phone had been turned off.

“Kendall, I forgot to charge my cell phone.”

“Forget it. Let’s not talk about it. Did David call you?” Kendall was worried that this would happen and was in a hurry to ask Sarah.

“He just called me. He said he wanted to give me nutritional supplements. I told him not to come over, but he said he was already on the highway. Do you know about this?”

Hearing Sarah’s words, Kendall heavily sighed and replied somewhat apologetically. “Sarah, I’m sorry. There is something I have to tell you.”

“What it it? Hurry up and tell me!” Sarah was a little nervous when she heard that.

“Mr. David invited me to lunch yesterday. Last time when the three of us ate together, I accidentally told your secret. Do you still remember?”

“I remember.”

“He asked me again yesterday. Sarah, I’m sorry. I told him the truth.”

“You told him that I made an agreement with Christian for three months?” Sarah immediately asked nervously.

“Yes! I’m sorry.”

Sarah instantly froze. She held onto the bedside table and sat on the bed. For a moment, she did not know what to say. If David really knew the truth, he definitely would not let it go so easily. If he really saw her, what could she say?

“Sarah, he definitely went this time to make you change your mind. Sarah, yesterday Mr. David told me that he came back this time to marry you. He said that he likes you, so tell me the truth. Do you like him too?”

When she heard Kendall ask her so directly, Sarah was silent for a moment.

“You don’t need to answer, I understand.”

“Kendall, my heart is in a mess right now. I will call you another day. I will hang up first.”

“Okay!”

Sarah hung up the phone. She heard Christian still calling her from outside. She got up and tidied up her cloths. She wanted to take her phone out, but she was afraid that Christian would find David’s phone.

She hesitated for a moment, but still pressed the button. Then she put her phone on the bedside table and walked out of the bedroom.
