Chapter 153 Kissing You Again

At the end of the alley, they suddenly emerged into open space.

Moonlit Mountain had a pleasant environment, with a blue sky and white clouds. Everything bathed in the afternoon sunlight was beautiful. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

"Let's go sit over there," Brendon pulled on her hand leading them towards pavilion atop mountain peak.

Once inside they discovered another couple who were passionately kissing each other making loud smacking sounds indicating how difficult separation between them must have been.

Turning around quickly, Ranita accidentally bumped into Brendon's chest causing ears turn red hot, "Let's just head back!"

Brendon glanced at the young couple and grabbed her hand, pulling her back.

The palms of her hands were warm.

After walking a few steps, Brendon chuckled softly and said, "Are you so nervous that your palms are sweating?"

"No, it's hot," Ranita said in a flat tone, trying to pull her fingers out of his palm. "Don't hold hands."

"The steps here are steep, I'll hold your hand." Without admiring the scenery, they continued down the path. Descending the stairs was hard on their knees and she had injured her ankle before, so walking such a long distance was tiring for her.

"Brendon, I'm a bit tired and want to take a break," Ranita sat on the stone bench by the path, bent over and massaging her calves.

Brendon sat down next to her, his long eyelashes drooping as he watched her pounding her legs. "Are your legs hurting?"

"A bit sour."

"I'll carry you down." The deep voice fell, and a broad back appeared in front of her. The man turned his head and said, "Get on."

Ranita thought to herself, "I am still his legal wife, so carrying me on his back is only natural. Besides, I'm carrying his own child in my belly."

Ranita rested on his back.

His shirt was new, with only the scent of crimson fire sandalwood perfume on it.

Very clean.

And, it was the gift she gave him during new year.

Ranita's heart was filled with excitement.

"You hold on tight," Brendon said. He held her legs with both hands and lifted them up, while Ranita obediently wrapped her arms around his neck.

Brendon was walking very slowly.

But carrying a person on his back, his breathing gradually became heavy.

"I think I'll come down..." Ranita had just finished speaking when the light dimmed and the clear sky darkened considerably through the gaps in the trees.

It was expected to rain.

"It might rain, I'll walk faster."

"Um..." Ranita was lying on his back, her gaze following the bumps and dips, but always settling on his half-jaw.

Brendon carried her for the first time.

Even though her heart was being cut like a knife, she was still happy at this moment.

As they reached the top of the last step, suddenly it started to rain heavily with a crackling sound!

Brendon hurriedly carried her and ran towards the villa room, leaving Ranita breathless from the jostling. Once they entered the villa room, both of them looked disheveled like wet chickens just out of water.

"Giggle, giggle, giggle!" Ranita couldn't help but laugh.

Brendon smoothed his messy hair and frowned, "Still laughing!"

Ranita continued to giggle, not knowing what exactly tickled her funny bone and unable to stop.

"Ranita, no more laughing," Brendon said as he looped his arm around her waist from behind, "If you laugh again..." His lips brushed against her neck, his voice soft and husky, "I'm going to bite you."

Ranita pushed his head away, her eyebrows raised playfully as she giggled. "Stop it... it tickles!"

Brendon leaned in closer, his nose brushing against her skin as he playfully nipped at her with his sharp teeth. Ranita twisted and turned, still laughing.

"Ranita, keep laughing and I'll kiss you," he whispered devilishly into her ear as he grabbed hold of her chin and pulled her in for a kiss.
