The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)

Chapter 459

Chapter 459

The woman's lips curled into a wry smile, her shrewd eyes calm as a still pond. "Oh? Mr. Andersen, you're quite the success story, aren’t you? A man like that is bound to have a wife at home. What if there's already a lady of the house? What then?”

As she spoke, she traced seductive circles on Lucius’ palm, her captivating gaze locked on his every expression.

Without a second thought, Lucius shook his head and declared, "If you're with me, that hag inside won't be a problem. I'll make sure she's out on her ear!"

Pleased, her red lips curled into a satisfied smirk. It seemed Lucius could wait no longer. He grabbed Samantha's hand and pulled her into the mansion.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

The night was just setting in, and Gabby was cuddled up with Anna on the couch, lost in the glow of the television. Lucius hadn't been home in ages. Gabby longed to see him but wouldn't dare disturb him, for fear of being a nuisance.

That's when Lucius strode in with the woman, paying no mind to Gabby, and leading the beauty in his arms straight upstairs.

Gabby watched, stunned, as Lucius walked in with the flamboyant woman. Her mind reeled, unable to process the scene before her. She had imagined Lucius painting the town red, but never did she think he'd bring one of his flings straight into their home.

"Stop right there!" Gabby rose, barely clinging to her composure, and demanded of the woman, "Who are you? What are you doing in my house at this hour?!"

The woman leaned into Lucius, wrapping an arm around his neck, unfazed by Gabby's interrogation. "Who am |? I'm the future lady of this mansion, and it's not your place to question me."

To twist the knife further, Samantha planted a deliberate kiss on Lucius’ cheek and chuckled, “Isn't that right, darling? You said I'm to be the mistress of this house."

Pleased by the kiss, Lucius nodded. "That's right. This place is yours if you want it."

The woman looked down her nose at Gabby with disdain. "Dear, what should we do about this clueless old maid? You'll have to let her go tomorrow; she's such an eyesore.”

Gabby trembled with indignation. She was only twenty-six. How dare this woman, who was older than her, call her an old maid!

Disappointed, Gabby turned to Lucius. "Is this true, Lucius? You've fallen for this...slut and want me gone? Have you really become so heartless?"

Lucius, repulsed, flicked a card at Gabby without a glance. "Get out! And don't forget to file for divorce. You have no idea how loathsome you are! Leave, and don't let the door hit you on the way out!"

Gabby covered her mouth, fighting back tears. So this was Lucius' true face. She had been blind all along, seeing all his flaws as virtues, never imagining this other side could be so ugly.

She had betrayed the trust of the generous Andersen couple to be with Lucius, committing acts she couldn't face for the rest of her life. For Lucius, she had traversed half the world to evade Magnus' pursuit. She lost touch with family and friends to be with him at the ends of the earth. And for what? Was this her karma?

Tears spilled from Gabby's eyes as she clenched her fists, silently vowing not to cry and give the woman the satisfaction.

"Tsk, tsk, crying, are we?" The woman mocked, her arms folded as she relished Gabby's sorrow. "What's this, a soap opera? My, my, Lucius, you don't have very discerning taste, do you?"

Lucius denied it outright, "How could I? She's plain. She's not my type. | prefer a hot babe like you."

The woman, pleased by his words, tapped his forehead with her crimson-tipped finger before whispering something dirty in his ear.

Lucius growled with desire, sweeping the temptress into his arms, heading upstairs, and ignoring Gabby's presence. Gabby stepped in front of them. "This is my home. Take your affair somewhere else and stay off my bed!"

The woman sneered, "Look at that. She says it's her bed. You haven't slept with her, have you?"

Lucius’ temper flared. "Gabby, don't push your luck! Get out of the way!"
